Hi guys, where do you guys buy the plastic dip at 20 dollars? The shop the I used to buy selling 30 dollars.. My plastic dip is running low.. Should have bought one bottle in the states.. The states one bottle only cost 7.50 usd. Haha.

It feels a bit stiff, but the difference is almost unnoticable compared to stock. The car is sitting quite low, especially the front with the Mazdaspeed kit. Be very careful when you drive up a ramp. I scraped the bottom of my lip just now going up a ramp.

Sharing some pics with you guys. The wheel gap still look a bit huge in the photo, but it is actually only about 2-finger-high without passengers inside.

Thks! Looks good! Hopefully my body kit will not cause prob.. Mine is different type.

I also got the Pro-kit for my 2. If only there is the sports line for our ride.

Yup, Pro-Kit. I am actually happy with the drop now. Just got to go slow in some places.

The Eibach Sportline has too much drop. I have never considered it. I am wondering whether Eibach has come out with the Sportline for Mz3.

Yeah, this is similar to the one offered by the SE usually. I got mine from outside tho.

It's not bad if your ride height is stock. You can still drive it a bit chorlo. It only becomes dangerously low after the car is lowered haha. Found that out the hard way.

    Yes bro you're right.

Should not have any problems if on stock spring. I'm on stock with kit thrown in by TEK... no problem.

    Hi,

Any idea which version suits our Mz3 sedan? Axela (2 cabin), Axela (3 cabin), Xing1 Cheng3 (2 cabin), or ?Xing1 Cheng3 (3 cabin)?

Mazda 3 Sedan should be Axela 3 cabin. You may want to look at the photo and agar agar check the shape is it same or not

Btw i didn't buy the boot mat. So i can't say good or not.

Hi guys, was informed by my se that I have gotten my Coe but my ride won't be coming till march... Anyway, ordered Mazda 3 soul red and would like which pps is recommended? I'm thinking brila and ceramic pro 9h. But other are welcome. My main concern is scratches cos my estate has a tedency to have car scratch... Easy maintanence is also of a concern but not priority.

    Bro,

I havent gotten my car yet and I have shortlisted the pps that I would go to. According to some bros here, pps wont be able to prevent scratches, which I think it makes sense. And this probably even more true since you live in scratchy estate. Just saying so that you wont have too high an expectation and then fall from there.

My expectation of a good pps would be:

    1. Somewhat scratch resistance from flying sand while driving

    2. Paint protection, paint to look as good as new after a few years

    3. Easy to wash. Like using water and micro fibre cloth. I am not a fan of chemicals

    4. Looks glossy, shiny and smooth (criminal, just remind of a song by michael jackson). Also mean no stain from bird droppings and whatever after cleaning

Some shops offer a higher end pps package that includes X numbers of car wash and dent repair after PPS. U can check with them

Any body kit will reduce our car's ground clearance haha. Don't worry lah, bro. It's not so bad. Just pay attention when going up or down a steep ramp at some parking buildings.

Haha those will have to be achieved with very negative cambers front and rear. As long as your ride from ground to bottom of the kit have 1/2 a pack of cigarette height you are good to go.

Looks good but many places can't go. Experienced that on previous rides. Till now have not kitted my ride and only lowered with Eiback Pro-Kit. If only there is sportsline for our ride.

The next road name will pop up on the Mzd connect screen even though navo is not on and even when you put the display to sleep. That blocks out the battery life of your mobile device and also the level of BT connection level display.

The road name will pop up even with the older version. Mine still version 51.

Since PPS are usually done by groomers, the PPS team will usually do a thorough wash and 'correction' of your paint when they are working on your car. Having PPS does not mean you don't ever have to wash your car, but of course if you are for whatever reason concerned about the quality of the wash given during servicing, makes sense to do your PPS after the servicing wash

Guys my experience with perfectshadesg. Tried to make appointment 2 weeks ago was told no need rush. So planned on 30th, today check with them said only after 8pm. But told them cant cos I got appointment. So they said today after 8pm, around 7pm today told me 9plus. Wait till 10.10pm no show call and ask them said delay. Was so piss off... i am also a paying customer and i called u 2 week in advance to book a time. You said no need rush but end up putting my slot till so late.

After that please instruct them not to wash or vacuum your ride. I did that earlier for my 5K servicing.

Don't get that. Get laser shades. No need to glue the brackets to your ride.

    Thanks bro,

My concern is that when should go PPS immediately after car collection. Then 1k servicing is pretty near. Afraid that the SA at Mazda might use chemical and ended up washing away PPS coating if havent bonded nicely with the car. Call me paranoid, i am really a noob in all these.

Secondly, i thought of driving and getting used to the car during the first 1k. In case there is any chip or dent, i can get Mazda to help me fix them during 1k servicing, right? Once i am used to driving then get PPS.

After that please instruct them not to wash or vacuum your ride. I did that earlier for my 5K servicing.

Strong PPS should resist chemicals and what not involved in washing and should adhere even with pressure washers. But I understand your feeling.

And you are right - if you get a ding before your 1K, you can get Mazda to help out with that before PPS.

But then some might say PPS might stop chips from happening in the first place [sweatdrop]

I think, you can go with your gut here, there is no right and wrong in this choice. But be aware that most groomers give a discount to fresh cars (~1 week from collection, maybe ~1 month) as those cars require less "preparation".

I am one who is very anal with my ride. I dun like it when people lean on my ride or rest their body weight on it with their palm on the roof edges. Also hate it when i give a person and ride and they auto adjust the interior to suit them.

Yes paranoid is good. My friend did his PPS then the shop told him to park under shelter for 3 days. He was unable to find any plus he needed to drive to work. So the PPS kinda went down the drain..

    From LTA webbie:

    b) The resultant light transmittance for the front windscreen and two front side windows must be at least 70%.
    c) The resultant light transmittance for the rear windscreen and the rear passenger windows must be at least 25%.

depends on your risk appetite :XD:

Not sure if light directly equates to UV proportionately [sly]

That would be LT (Light transmission), very different from the IR and UV heat rejection rate. [laugh]

LTA never restrict on heat rejection rate. They only restrict on light transmission.

I paid $480 for the 2nd top tier package and another $50 for tearing away of the existing film on the ride.

I did for the whole car of course.
