I always see that camera when I get back from Malaysia. But by then I would have slowed down and filtered left cos I exit at Thomson.
Hard to adjust to slow speed again after hours on NSHW. Even the PIE before the busy areas like Jurong is empty except for the usual taxi hogging the right lane while all the other lanes are empty.

For PIE, u will see TP standing on the road shoulder before lornie rd exit, or on the bridge around Thomson and Toa Payoh. Common places for TP mobile cams.

Enter your car plate and see if there's any update on your car. If they have processed any infractions, you can pay online here. Although it says up to 3 days to process, I think they are faster sometimes.

Scratch is obvious... And next he or she smashed your headlight.

    I may be wrong though.

It's part and parcel of driving.

Anyway, I too have learnt my lesson. Now at filter lanes with the dashes ( give way ) , I watch the car in front before looking at the traffic coming fromthe right. Inexperienced and infrequent drivers especially, could not judge the speed of the traffic, and would hesitate.

Their hesitation can be expensive to others.

Yes it can be done and has been done before. By use of a filter, very easy to mod by diy. However i am not sure if white can be achieved. Generally only primary colors only. White is difficult to see.

Very true. A new car depreciates less than a 2nd car.

An old car with renewed COE is more expensive than a newer car with a year left.

A Malaysian friend commented just how ridiculous our COE system has resulted in. He also commented on how he used to envy Singaporeans with new cars. Now he could see many with old cars that breakdown!

I told him to wait for the day when only very few Singaporeans will have cars. Singapore car-lite <-- That's what PM said.

Yeah I was able to meet dcb at Opti-shine while the team was putting a coat on my Mazda3.

He took a video of how water would glide off the surface of the car ensuring no droplets would remain on His mazda2 body
It also seems to be perfect for people who want to reduce the time it would take to wash their car.

I'm not sure of the effects of the coating yet but it does look like my car is more glossy and easier to maintain!

How much is the price for doing the coat?

The boss, John, quoted me 2 prices for platinum and titanium packages.

You can try to contact him and request for a quote.
    http://www.mycarforu...int-protection/

Try to compare it with other similar businesses,
If you let the boss know, you might be able to negotiate on the price.
Take note of the number of layers of coating as well

I'll refrain from posting a price openly as I'm not involved in the business

The plus points for me here is the service and attitude.

There's a 3 year warranty that can cover minor issues so it might help if you're anal about small scratches but I believe competing businesses have the same warranty.
It's just the extra mile they're willing to go to accommodate you

I also did my PPS with another workshop... but would like to check with you guys... in the video no water droplets stay on the bonnet. but how about rain? will some small droplet still stay on the bonnet? Mine will have water beading effect (hydrophobic) but they will not roll off (during parking)... let me know will that happen to Opti-shine coating after you drive about 1 week? Thanks! :)

To be frank, this effect is only possible with large amount of water. For my ride after the rain there will be very minimal water droplets on the bonnet and roof. Doors will be almost dry after awhile.

To be frank, this effect is only possible with large amount of water. For my ride after the rain there will be very minimal water droplets on the bonnet and roof. Doors will be almost dry after awhile.

After washing the car, wipe dry will be a breeze too, just glide the dry cloth... Not wipe actually, across the smooth babe waxed/coated shiny skin, erm i mean the car surface hahhaaha... And magic! Dry completely 100%!
(Also depends the absorbent of the drying cloth too).

Any idea how lasting is the coating and does it require to re-coat after a certain period?

My car has been coated with ceramic coating since day 1 from Revol and was told to sign up a maintainence package with 2 more coatings. According to the staff, the coating will lose it effect after 6 to 9 months.

I did the ceramic coating as well, but from another detailer. I believe all coating can only last you 6 to 9 months. Those provide 3 or 5 years warranty, or even life time warranty, better check what it cover. No point paying for the warranty. Might as well use the money to do reapply or maintenance.

Mine comes with 3 year warranty on any light scratches or swirl marks. Also includes 2 free maintenace session.

durability and lifespan vary from product to product... since they usually have different formulations, different materials, different compounds, different thickness of application, etc.

Most advertise a lifetime of at least a couple years to five, some say proper maintenance will last the whole lifespan of your car (to be specific, your ten years of COE). Maintenance being sufficient and frequent washing, sometimes even an additional coat layer.

Most wouldn't "require" a re-coat, I suppose, but there are people who do return for additional coats regardless.

Interior is the one that gives me a big headache.... Leather cleaner, leather conditioner, plastic cum dashboard uv protector gel... Somemore mazda car interior pretty tight, wipe wipe here wipe wipe there... Keep on knocking my head n etc... Then the wiping clothes so oily and cannot clean the glass or clear plastic of the speedo... Plus if not dust well, all the dust stick onto the panels....
Wah, now i understand why babes spent hours in the make up room kekekekee....

Mine they say is up to 12 months lol! Dunno real or not... But for now, really enjoy the ease of cleaning n wiping dry the car...

Only if the rims can be so easy wash too... Saw some do the coating on the rims and during cleaning, just hose off the brake dust... Wow!!

maybe I stick Bose badge on my Sony speakers... see whether people think more atas! [laugh]

But doesn't the Mazda3 have non-branded speakers only? Thought only the Mazda6 and higher come with Bose in SG.

Hi anyone using sony premium z5 and link with mazda system? Any issue? Some say bluetooth when playing music is not clear.

No issue for my Z5P. Tested few days ago to be working fine. Can't notice difference if on USB with the same file. Digital music, same file, play from where all the same.

No, the Mz2 don't need cheat code. Mz 2 can just switch off the DRL in the Mz connect settings

I was plesantly surprised when I did a 2nd full tank top up fuel this morning.

It showed on the dasboard as avg 8.2l/100km which is = 12.195km/l. I was even more happy when I did a manual calculations..... it was 13.076km/l.
Amazing Mazda 3 2.0 Sport which I can never get this kind of fuel consumption out from my previous Mazda 3 1.6SP.
No change of driving still with heavy right foot.

    Will monitor further.

I am quite sure asked the same question to SE have Bose or not? The answer was abviiusly a no. Also did not mentioned in the brochre... only mentioned 6 speakers..
