I thought of tb too. But not sure if their left hand drive covers will fit right hand drive. Plus they are just slip on covers I think

Haha mine is Mz2 and there also very quiet so came over here and kpo. Mine also have sports mode.

I see.. so how is your rpm like when sport mode is on ? always high rpm ?

  • 11 April 2016 - 10:15 PM
    dcb

Not always high but when you step on the accelerator then car is more responsive. Basically it feels like a build in throttle controller.

I see.. so how is your rpm like when sport mode is on ? always high rpm ?

Which place are you looking at? Post the postal code here and I check for you.

Mazda Nav system is not the best. Some new roads are not inside, some new buildings too. I also posted before that they got my place wrong (nav system send me to my neighbour's place). But all is not too bad because in the end, I still can get to the places I want.

If a place is not found in the nav system, then find a nearby address. Not expecting the nav/map to be perfect so still ok for me.

Are you serious about putting the baby seat in the middle?? I hope you are trolling as I was advised not to do that because:

    1) How to secure the seat
    2) In a really freak event that the baby is not secured and met with a head on accident, the baby can fly out through the windscreen

Having said this, this morning I saw a Honda car with a baby seat in front (between driver and passenger) and facing front. It is extremely dangerous!

Not trolling as the middle seat belt is also the diagonal shoulder type. It is very firm.

Nothing to worry. Just drive normal. Your car have been pre-run in before they reset the odometer and ship the vehicle.

Any one install front and rear camera for his new car? by tapping to fusebox without cutting the wire is it consider warranty void?

I bought the deluxe and im worried the rear airbag will hit my baby. So i placed my baby seat in the middle. Not sure if 8m doing it right. Most ppl put at driver side of rear.
    This recommendation is crazily dangerous

My car seat always faced the front in the front passenger seat when my kids were little. I drove a Honda City then. The seat was secure enough. It also depends on the quality of the seat itself. I used a maxi-cosi full body seat - the restraints were secure.

If you are talking about run-in, then 2k rpm sounds about right. Our car throttle response is a bit lagging in first and second gear. The car feels sluggish around 2k rpm in the first two gears. I feel there's not enough air being combusted. That's my opinion.

pros & cons.. go TEK for sure waiting for months for the car to be repaired based on people's recent feedbacks... some said in FB he waited for 4 months !?!

go outside workshop at most leave the car overnight, 1 day can collect. I assume this is not so major repair, at most respray or change whole bumper ? it's not that it will void your warranty for changing the bumper... unless engine/electrical repair then no choice must go TEK..

Just got it from Fong Yat (dunno why the name is different - this is the one at race course road. Fong Tat is at serangoon near city square mall - they are listed together). The clips they gave me are hyundai/kia clips but they say the fit is the same - hopefully it's true. The uncle is quite friendly actually - maybe cos it's a quiet day. They take cash only btw and the nearest atm is at city square mall (5 mins walk - not including going downstairs to the atm - so i drove - haha)

If you claim the other party's insurance, then your NCD won't be affected, coz you are not at fault for the collision.

How come repair at TEK also need 1 or 2 months? Outside workshop i understand, cos need to order parts, but TEK itself should be faster, no?

My friend is still waiting for his bumper change at TEK. The delay is the liaising with the opposition's insurance company. Initially i thought it is quite good that TEK will repair and claim for you unlike other ADs.

    Capacitor yes, VS NO.

For a rear end collision, your NCD definitely won't be affected unless the other party can prove that it was your fault which is very unlikely.

Yes,the name is Fong Yat, I dont know the difference as I google for Fong Tat and it shows the 2 addresses.

I also got the Hyundai clips, they fits, no problem but it is quite expensive for clips, each pcs is $1.50, 10 pcs is $15!!

Should have taken some clips out from my old car and reuse them.

I wouldn't recommend to any bro that don't like to tinker around electronics (custom roms, rooting phone, running command in ssh etc).

Its sits as an application in MZD Connect, with the possibility to be uninstalled before going back service centre. When android auto app exits, it goes back to mzd connect just like fuel economy.

    Some pluses

    1) Google map (search, zoom in out, traffic)

    2) Native spotify functionality

    3) Whatsapp appears and read to you.

    minuses

    1) App will exit if you pick up a call in android auto

    2) reverse camera blacks out in the app. But functional within mzd connect

if you not sure what you doing, please refrain from installing it because it will void your warranty.

Doubt you can change your order.

The difference between deluxe and std is much more then equipment, you are making a decision based on your lifestyle IMHO.

Would you either want to start cheap and mod until satisfactory, or start beautiful (or stop here)and make it more beautiful.

This being said, if you enjoy music, the deluxe has more speakers

And for safety the deluxe has more airbags

For ease of user, The deluxe has more reverse sensor

For night driving, HID will be better than standard halogen

thou i have a standard and i feel that M3 is no way short of standard equipment that comes with it.

Performance wise i believe they are identical.

Cheers for making the right choice! see you on the road soon! [bounce2][bounce2]

Performance is the same (same engine, suspension etc). The gadgets are what differentiate the two. The HID white lights are also auto adjusting in height. With the MZD, you have the iDrive-type rotary controls that give you a very driver-friendly position to make selections on the infotainment system. It also integrates with the reversing camera. LED rear lights also make it that much cooler.

Enjoy your ride! You've just bought one of the best looking practical cars on our roads today. Cheers!

Since we only have 3 buttons for devices (istop, afs and tcs). Does anyone know if we can get blank buttons for the other 3 locations on the dash? (working buttons that we can hook up to devices - fog lamps, drl etc)

This is the cx 5 version - couldn't find the mazda 3 pic on the web.
