Damage: $45 (horn + installation). FYI Concorde Auto is selling $34 but u have to get outside workshop to install for u with labor cost...
    hope this helps...:)
paging for dcb bro, he just change recently...:)

Thanks bro. Quite all right :)))

Bro, i changed mine. I encourage you to change yours too. Got a shock of my life when Infratint guy tore away my existing film at my request to measure the IR rejection rate and its only 25%. Am using a 80%+ film now and driving under the hot sun is not a scorching hot as before.

Go to Autotrend TPY better. They install with a relay at no additional cost.

Bro dcb, your solar film installation nett is how much and at where??

    Paiseh just saw the cost.

Yeah, I am one of you haha.

Unfortunately, no matter how picky we are at choosing a parking spot, there will be some who bo chup and just swing their car door out and hit our car [smallcry]

i also think you are a kindred spirit when Yiu also go lower your ride. Hate the stock look like floating.

That's why I always try and find a single lot. If not I will park on the right, hoping the other car on my left do not have passengers.

I'm fortunate my original horn (not Mazda) is fine then... haha.

As for solar film, as dcb say, visible light and infrared/ultraviolet rejection are different, personally I would go for a film with high visible light transmission but high UV/IR rejection. You want to be able to see, but block out the heat. Unless you want privacy film.

  • 30 January 2016 - 06:32 PM
    Zcold

That would be LT (Light transmission), very different from the IR and UV heat rejection rate. [laugh]

LTA never restrict on heat rejection rate. They only restrict on light transmission.

I paid $480 for the 2nd top tier package and another $50 for tearing away of the existing film on the ride.

I did for the whole car of course.

    [thumbsup][thumbsup]

Might join u to do the same too!

You should talk to your SE to give you cash for the RK films if the SE is giving you. Go look for your own film company. Save the money.

My tow cap on my 2014 M3 (correct my understanding if I am wrong) fell off. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Can someone advice me on where and how I should get it replaced. Has anyone got the same from taobao or ebay? I am unable to reach out to someone who has this stock currently.

I think your best bet is go back to Eurokars and ask them to replace it somehow. They will probably have to source a new cap and paint it. Your problem is an unusual one and I can't think of much people who would ever imagine needing a new tow cap lol. But it's not unprecedented... some people even get them stolen.

Oddly enough I've been trying to figure out how to remove the tow cap on my own car, but it's because I wanted to have a look at the towing eye.

If really cannot replace it, maybe stick some accessory there for fun or just tell everyone who ask that you got specially design cold air intake on the rear. ...wait, what? [laugh]:a-fun:

And so I was shopping with CFO, we were looking for a vacuum cleaner, rechargeable and cordless type. Trying to find that has good suction.

And so I was looking for a portable vacuum cleaner for my car. And thought of those that be attached to a "pipe" so that it can be used to vacuum the house too.

And so I was looking for a house vacuum cleaner which can be detached so I can vacuum my car. Saw one model which do vacuum and mopping floor at the same time.

So is there any vacuum cleaner that can satisfy all the above 3? Otherwise, any good vacuum cleaner that can at least clean both car and house?

A bit hard to find one that satisfies all three, especially the last one.

I always thought cars with autolock door feature will auto unlock in the event of a crash, upon the sensor detecting the shock impact. I read it in some manuals. Of cos, it can fail to unlock in the event of a crash, or vice versa in the case of no such feature.

Hi Guys, just a question. My average mileage on the meter is 9L/100KM.

During 1k servicing highlight to the guy he say normal for 1.5.

But then he still reset the meter for me. After 3 days reading back to 9L/100KM.

80% city, 20% highway driving. Rpm usually rev to 2.2 let it auto change gear.

Is this normal? Im just afraid there's problem with the engine etc instead of the meter thus the high FC.

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance mates!

Wah sei, the basic servicing of $215 before get doesn't include engine oil of $98 and oil filter of another $12. Eurokar servicing is expensive.

It's normal. Cos ur city is 80% liao. And your 20% highway is it really smooth traffic. Dun be envious of the fc of others, for my accent manual transmission, if I drive like a guniang, I can get 17-18km/l. But these days I only get around 14-15km/l with a heavy right foot. Around 50% city and I control my gear shifting on manual transmission.

Seriously depends on the route u drive. My best so far is 6.something and was doing a lot of expressway.

For the past 2 days my FC was around 8.3. And this afternoon drove from west to east and it drops to 7.5.

Last time, I wanted to buy Mazda 3. But autosaver doesn't do package / specialise in Mazda. Only Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai and Kia. Their servicing package for the above cars are really very worth and they use genuine parts and goes by the manual.

In the end, I bought accent manual transmission for ease of mind... Mazda servicing pricing really Siao sia.

After the warranty period is over, I will definitely not go back to Mazda. It's too expensive. The oil that they use may just be a so-so EO. You can get good EO, like Amsoil or Redline under $25/quart outside. As long we stick with the oil grade recommended by the manual, the car will be fine. I would bring the car in to AD only for major servicing like 60k and 120k.

Although nowadays car 'diseases' don't usually show up within the first few years of its life (from my previous experience hor, don't quote me on this :p), but you may never know if there are some lemon components in it, especially the engine :(

It's not an expensive mod... Just go for it! But i gotta warn u A frame is not easy to install due to the limited space.

And later i will post some photos how it will look like. Because i find that it will not be one's liking if the car colour is not dark (example red/white) in which u will see "black lines".

Btw I bought the full set they named it as 6D.
