Shine your headlights in the direction of a wall and then turn your stirring wheel to the right or left, you will notice the light slight shifting to the turning direction.

Took out the sd card from my papago camera.... I realised the recording is not seamless. Some clips are more than 1 min long and others are less. And the most concerning thing is there are some duration in between clips that are not recorded. This is worrying and I wonder if "sway sway" the camera does not record during an accident.

Anyone having this problem too? I am using papago 360, free from TEK.

Hi Rider83, I also notice this when i review my video in the sd card. Seems like it record 3 mins (based on my setting) of front then follows by the rear camera. Any one know if this is a permanent feature or glitch? If it's a permanent feature, is there any other camera that we can replace at our own cost (bo bian) but retain the internal wiring (namely the power cable and the cable to the rear camera) ? Even better If can retain the rear camera and just change the front camera..

Bro, u mean your recording is based on your setting? I havent tried playing with the setting yet so I am not sure. I am thinking of highlighting this to TEK, which I predict they will be saying things like "this is free stuffs so.....". I intend to push forward saying even if I change to a better model, I want them to install for me due to internal wiring, no nonsense like void warranty etc...

Meanwhile I will try out the settings...

i will be getting mine soon.. if papago 360 really have a problem, then we all should report to TEK and build up a case.

I've extracted the recording once so far.

There isn't much 'gap' in the recording between each 3 min segment for both my front and rear cam.

The reason why it is in 3 min segments is so that the older files can be overwritten by the newer ones. Imagine if it is a single file, once the SD card is full, the current file gets overwritten and you will lose all previous recording.

Besides, there is a g-sensor to lock the file from overwritten if there is an accident.

Not sure if I addressed any of the issue raised.

Depend on your Led amount of lumens it give. Try to get as high xxxxK as possible. I bought from Taobao self claim 6000K T10, working fine for me. It really look nicer with white LeD.

You got lobang bro? iRoad V9 is $540 as stated in their own website...

Anyway, before I bought my car, was looking around for car cameras, I came across one which can put SIM card inside. Connect to 3G. With motion sensor at parking mode, every time it detect something close to the car, will auto record. And it will notify you and you can choose to view it real time. But i cannot find something like this in SG or I havent really look hard enough.

Hi kohzcm, I'm also experiencing the same thing. My fc jump from 7.4l per 100km to 7.8l per 100km when I reached 4.5k.. Dono is it due to the tyre pressure or slightly heavy footing on the pedal. Cos nothing change( fuel type no change) so far.

No worries bros.... my ride approaching 10k, FC has been good and consistent, occasionally better. Think it is more of driving habits.

Might be getting my car soon... Logged into the COE site and got the COE, though my SE hasn't contacted me yet.

Wanted to ask if anyone here has installed their own 2-channel camera (e.g. Blackvue or iRoad)? Didn't manage to bargain for 2-channel and thinking of getting my own install, preferably with parking mode. If you have, could you share what model you got, and where you got it installed? Can PM me too if you like. Thanks!

AFAIK TEK only install their in house brand cameras.

Ask TEK to install for you? They install car cameras after all right? If need to pay money, then pay, at least they wont void warranty

No prob. I am going to look around, probably go back to TEK first

guaranteed bid? the bidding this round is crazy lol

Yup guaranteed bid. So glad I went for guaranteed now, if not I would still be waiting for my car! I was checking the bids and luckily it was increased from 53k to 54k fifteen minutes before it closed. I'd been sitting on buying the car for a while, think I went in at a good time.

Will be getting my car by end-June. Hopefully the sooner the better :) Very excited to play with the features - been driving a barebones 10-year-old Altis. I can't even customise my own playlist in the car because the CD is stuck in the slot [laugh]Am looking forward to even simple things like Bluetooth audio from my phone.

I drove a 07 Mazda 3 (1.6)for a week, the FC was bad.. It's about 10km/l. A 2.0 should be around the same bench mark. But of course, I may have a heavy foot. RPM is always around 3000.
Maybe more past owner here can input more for you.

Previous iterations (before Skyactive) of Mazda are known to be fuel guzzers.

Expect FCs to be around in the range of 10-11 for Mazda 3 (drove one before)

Mazda 3 and 6 are 2 different class. One is a bread and butter car and the other is a luxury seden.

Mazda 3 2.0 should have better torque and power than Mazda 6 due to the different in weight.

    my 2 cents

Saw an ad with seller selling original mazda 3 18" rims. Wondering if TEK will void warranty is ours upgrade from 16 to 18", since the 2.0 model already using 18". Any Bros can advice or asked b4?

    Thanks ahbear82 and Axela525!

If it voids warranty .... i'll probably wait a while to settle in first before i install it.

My SE told me that if I wish to change my car dvr, I may do so by tapping the power through the cigarrete lighter socket. Tapping from the car battery will void the car warranty.

So I have taken note of that. So the changes can be made with that in mind. No problem

I asked if can upgrade rims... I was given the bulls**t that if you have a 1.5L car that runs on 18-inch, then Mazda is selling you a different car because it cannot stick to its promised performance statistics anymore, therefore they cannot do it.

i think what TEK mean is that the Mazda 3 1.5L is design to run optimal performance at 16" Wheel, so if you change to 18", though its still mazda wheel, it consider different from the original design, cos spec different.

Bro, if change other brand rims I think they can bulls**t. But if change to 2.0 mazda3's rim, then how will they answer lor. Same chasis same car only different engine.

My discount $1,000 is on top of the existing discount of $12,000, total we mazda buyer get abt $17,000 discount if include CEVS rebate.

Mazda price up 9k for Cat B. Cat B only went up by 3k. For Cat A, it went up for 6k, I suppose it will go up around 10k to 12k for them to buffer higher bidding price.

Those sign guaranteed COE earlier, probably will still get the COE. Those sign non G COE, quite difficult for now.

Discounts already on the pricelist are more like marketing gimmicks than actual discounts, they can put sky high prices and then give huge discounts.

CEVS rebate doesn't always go to the consumer.... the dealer can simply inflate their "starting" price and then give you this so called discount. End of the day, you even get lower paper value!

For Nissan, you get further discounts from the list price if you take up financing and insurance with them, but for Mazda, you actually have to pay penalty if you don't!

But I agree Nissan and Mazda are going for different markets, just check out the crowds at the showrooms haha

personally i like the Mazda interior, especially the LCD on the dash board, quite stylo, like those Audi car.

As for the rear air con, i find that most of the rear air con is weak, unless you turn the volume higher, the rear air con is just an extension to the main air con system, something like they tap the cold air from your front air con and transfer it to the back.

Pro is the air in the whole car get bit of cold air

Con is that the cold air blow out is rather weak.

I think end of the day is to each his preference bah. LOL
