The rice jin ho jiak. The chawamushi tasted like bad eggs. Overall not bad only but I love the rice. My colleague told me the rice is from Hokkaido.

bro, you take so much rice. Consider switching to brown rice or at least half half

plus the rice, a lot of sugar ......

I find brown rice is smelly. One man's meat is another man's poison. [:p]

I eat two meals a day only and dont snack between meals. On weekends, then maybe a supper included. My 95kg body need lots of energy. [laugh]

    bro, u can try this

when you prepare brown rice, soak it in water a lot longer than normal white rice.

I soak it for 2 hours or more... it would be softer and nearer to white rice texture.

Mix brown rice with white rice to cook, so the change in tastes and texture is gradual.

for example, i cook 20% brown rice to 80% white rice..

after a while, i increase to 30%.. then slowly to 50% etc etc

eventually u will not notice any difference in tastes and texture and start to appreciate brown rice.

and u will get a much healthier diet!

I also don't like to eat brown rice but not cause of the smell but more because of the texture, but no choice every night dinner is brown rice for me. Cannot choose. haha.

Should try to eat smaller meals about 5 times each day, it encourage a smoother energy burning process in your body. Hope you don't find me naggy or offensive, but do you perhaps think your diet may contribute to even the slightest bit of your health condition? Perhaps a change in diet could help improve some of your health condition, no harm trying.

Actually, I can taste the different texture of rice if it is not the usual smooth and fragrant. I love the smell of white rice being cooked. It makes my tummy hungry.

I like white rice, plain white rice, must be a bit hard and not those soft soft. Very hard to explain. My wife knows I like to cook my own rice and like how it is being done. Very difficult to change.

Yes, diet plays a part of my illnesses. I am allegy to chicken meat. It causes my IBS and Urticaria. So I try to avoid it and only have it if I have my medication with me.

Other than that, my other illnesses are due to genetics, HLA-B27. Having this gene leads to various inflammatory illnesses. Eye swollen, back pain, nose swollen and heel pain.

I am not the type of having 5 meals a day. I actually dont enjoy eating, it is just to fill the tummy and provide energy. So I want to eat it quickly and be done with it. My wife know me well. Meals are finished in 5mins or less. So 5 meals a day, I think is a waste of my precious time. [laugh]

Want good food cannot stay in airport lah. Take a bus out. Go to Tsim Sha Tsui or Central and you can sure find good food.
