I think you can buy it from any shop that sells car battery. It's a common battery used in many conti cars.

Complained to my SE whom checked with his boss whom said wait next bidding try again, if cannot den talk to boss again about cat E. Which i understand la, now the COE too high, they will not earn that much if gimme the COE (i got it at cat B 38k).

But hopefully next bid which i feel B should drop but don't think till 38k. :~ My assurance is 6th bid use cat E.

Hey peep, do you guys shift no neutral or Park when on long red light?

I put on drive to activate istop at traffic light. But when istop deactivate and still got some time before turning green, I just set to neutral for the 2nd istop to active. Trying to save some oil cos my average fc is 7.7l per 100km.

The glass box is behind the showroom. Enter from the door at the back and there is this small room where they keep new cars waiting for collection. The "door" is a glass panel that's why people call it a glass box

    My wish as well.
But my wish list is longer
    1. Lane departure warning
    2. Frontal collision warning
    3. Adaptive front lighting
    4. Auto car lock
    5. Car remote alarm

And it will never end even if they really give me this.
    I'm greedy!!!

Mazda 2/3 skyactiv will not run on normal battery. The istop will not function on normal battery. You will need the following battery. Refer to this link. Not easy to find.

    http://carbattery.co...atic/Mazda.html

You can try searching the net for Singapore outlet or anyone got lobang can share.

Yes, I second this. I encountered a problem midway through the downloading. I restarted the Mzd toolbox hoping to resume the update, but the app didn't recognise my SD card. I tried to restart the app a few times but to no avail.

Luckily, I did a backup beforehand and was able to restore all the files. Once restored, everything was ok and I was able to complete the update.

    Hi Bros and Sis...s?

Wished I had read thus forum much earlier.
Booked my Mazda 3 couple of weeks ago but after reading some of the comments here not really sure if I got myself a fair deal.

Im getting the hatch and although I would have loved to pay for the deluxe as well the financial controller didn't approve (she already compromised by letting me get the hatch!)

I only manage to get a front in car camera, rikecool solar films, 2 years of servicing. I didn'ttake the additional 2 years of warranty to get 2k discount.

So when I was looking through the equipment list I noticed that they were some paid options like display and reverse camera. I asked my SE about it and he actually told me "oh its not available one". I thought it could be something thats not available in Singapore perhaps and didn't pursue but after reading that some of the bros here manage to get it free when they bought standard made my blood boiled. Not just for the fact that the SE could have given it free (retailing at 1300), but he actually "lied" to me and say that option is not even available!

For the solarfilms I actually requested for the model name and/specs. Supposedly Im getting the RC85 and RC28 both of which has IR heat rejection rates of 80%. 80% heat rejection rates seems pretty standard compared to what other medium range solarfilms have to offer so for those who felt the rikecool didn't provide enough heat rejection and those measured the heat rejection and found it to be less than satisfactory did you all find out the spec of the rikecool film they gave you?

Bro, look at it positively. Some getting better deals than others may be due to other factors. If you understand Chinese, "???????".

Mine standard version and i got:
2K discount (on top of the 2k given for extended warranty)
    Front cam
    8"LCD w/ GPS
    Reverse Cam
    Solar Film

But, i traded in my old car! They could have more margins to play with because of my trade in. Having said that, my old car was offered a much higher price (overtrade) than the other car makers (Misubishi, Nissan etc) can offer.

Just enjoy your ride. Who knows, maybe now they don't allow 3rd party LCD? Bte i bought last year July and collected my car in Oct.

From what I heard, the solar films are already pre-installed with all their cars. It's not exactly something that you bargained for as a free gift.

Dropped by the showroom after the recent COE increase and their standard models now come with the GPS. But of course, the price of the standard sedan went up by around $4k.

Centre knob also can fix outside?

Can control the after market LCD screen?

Wah shiok leh like that, worth it. But the 1300 a bit steep in my opinion, cause basically the only function I truly need is the reverse camera, GPS honestly use phone also can, dont need to worry about updates some more.

Thats why initially I was thinking dont get deluxe and wait for the day after market HUDs like Navdy becomes common.

Then again with the knob... hmm... jialat, slippery slope, pay more and more.

I was thinking also if get the lasershade or slimilar products, maybe I will just stick with rikecool.

From the specs 80% heat rejection quite reasonable leh.

Thats why I was hoping some bro who took rikecool and felt the heat rejection is poor knows the grade of the solarfilm given by them.

Realise some of the SE seems to be deliberately offering wrong, or withholding, information.

Confirm can get outside. Its the same shop that install the aftermarket 8" LCD for TEK.
It can also control the lcd screen but limited features though. Its the same features that you can control from the steering. But again, pay $180 just to fill the hole and let your passenger play with it also good.

Btw, 1300 is steep if its not given free by tek imo.

I also booked with Ubi. At Leng Kee I was stuck with a female SE whose attitude I didn't really like.

She wasn't trying to sell me the car at all.

1st time I go there kena her I already sian 1/2.

Suay suay 2 weeks later I went back to test drive she had no clients on hand and saw me walking in and actually remembered me.

    Same attitude.

3rd time I go Ubi. Signed the same day. Her loss.

Yeah 1300 is a bit pricey to get GPS and Reverse camera. Can save the money to give my car better protection using coatings.

From what some of the bros here say seems like the coatings does help prevent scratches.

If paint kena scratch within a few weeks will be super heart pain sia, paid 500 for soul red.

BTW anyone bought custom shades from Perfectshade?

I was thinking of saving the money from modding all the other stuff and just keep the rikecool films but use a good custom shade instead.

Bro, if you register your map online with mzd connect, you are supposed to get 3 years free update. It is stated in the website, but the funny thing is that in the desktop mzd connect app shows 1 year free update only. I see this in mine, so weird....

Shd be no problem. I am still getting free updates after > 18 mths

The PPS installer demonstrated to you will not get scratches? They tried with keys? Pen knives?

yup, definitely available, see this thread from a chinese forum:

Anyone knows who to install meter that reads both batt volt and car temperature? Of course not voiding the warranty if it is fixed.

    TIA

Batt voltage reading can use the 12v socket.
