Maybe you show us the link?

We only have one variant for 2.0l Mazda 3 in SG unlike other countries.

I am quite sure asked the same question to SE have Bose or not? The answer was abviiusly a no. Also did not mentioned in the brochre... only mentioned 6 speakers..

Locally got no "link" showing the validity. It was poster of someone above saying there is, though not sure if he is refering to local context or US :D

the factory fitted MZD connect works perfectly fine.
he bought the std and retro fitted it with china made unit, what do you expect?

as mentioned previously, i used to drive wrx and i dont feel maz3 is floaty at 120km/hr - disclaimer: i changed my rims/tyres.
the handling is good....compared to Lancer EX 1.5 but lose out to WRX.

so far my problem was resolved within 1 visit to eurokars (leng kee).

well, i think if the guy is so unhappy with the car, should just sell it soon :)

Just maybe, a SE from another car brand lol!

OMG! They actually put a subwoofer at the spare tyre area? Very clever leh, especially for the lack of space for the M3....

It's a common practice nowadays when looking for a place for a subwoofer. [;)]

don't know why he bought it at the first place

last weekend I was on NSHW and mine MZ3 HB didn't float (I was driving at between 130 to 140 with 17" Mazda rims and Dunlop SportMaxx).

Probably heavy rims and good tyre play a part??

Aiyoooo how to drive 120 in sg hahahah.... Now TP so ON... Hide hide here, hide hide there overhead bridge.
My heart will float to my mouth if always 120. My heart beat will 120 bpm too. My wallet will float too if kenna the heavy fine. My wife will scream at me 120decibel if i drive fast lol!!

sad to see this review...:( really that bad meh??? I feel the opposite way...

    Review
I dont why this car is getting such good reviews and high numbers of stars.
    Maybe for start; The cars I have driven (for a period of time) / owned over the years so that's indicate where my expectations and comparsion are;
    - Lancer GLXi 1.6, Lancer EX 1.5
    - Civic Vti 1.6
    - Altis 1.6, Vios 1.5, Camry 2.0
    - BMW118
    - Sunny 1.6
    - C180
    - K5 2.4

    What I like
Interior is nice and comfortable, that's probably the only good thing I have for Mazda3

    What I do not like
Lots of built in gadget / features don't really work as expected or not easy to to use.
My Mazda3 comes with local fitted entertainments system (sadly it'ss probably a cheap china product)
Touch screen is not sensitive, GPS doesnt work, GPS problem is identified, ack as a problem but cant solved despite several visits to TransEuro and Tong Lee Wee Auto (supplier of this entertainment system to TransEuro).

Handling to me is poor, steering to too "light".
At speed >120km/hr, this car already start to float.

Position of side mirror is not to my liking.

when we buy a car, it comes with warranty and servicing which complete the entire buying experience. Sadly the after sales by TransEuro sucks good time.
So many cars I have owned and service centres I visited, TransEuro is worst,
no one even comes near their low level of service.
A service line which hardly anyone answers, service advisor who provide HP but doesnt answer nor bothers to call back.
Small little problem which usually takes several visits to solve.
And their favour tag line " erm... its like this one, nothing much we can do, this comes from Japan factory"

Maybe its just me, my expectation.
Take my comments with a pinch of salt.

Well. Every cars had its own sets of tiny winy problem. I used to drive 4 onion rings and they themselves had their sets of problems (I tell you. It's out of the world and you should try their service center) but i still enjoy my ride. Since or if you had bought it might as well enjoy it. Cheers!!!

    Just checking if the
    MAZDA 3 1.5L Sedan Deluxe
    Comes fitted with BOSE speakers?

Not in the local SG version. It comes with 6 speakers system, not sure which brand.

I was looking to buy the 4 rings too since the price difference not big but the specs were really a letdown.

Ended up with maz3. If I have waited, I will get subaru VX (107k) or Qashqai (110k) now...

The headlight looks like hit by reverse. Should I report police? Considering to change camera to a constant on type. Ever since I dont park there, I dont get anything anymore.

And one more thing. I find the service centre ok leh. Email them this morning on the date for my 1k servicing. Reply at about 4 plus. In the Web they mentioned 48hrs.

Although the service centre staff sounded like aunty (the way she spoke) but she is very helpful to find me the earliest timing which is on 19 next month. Not bad mah.

Usually I plan my servicing date by estimating the average distance cover per day.
    Cheers!!

Wow... that's really fast reply from Mazda. I can do that next time. I had wanted to email them yesterday after calling Ubi service center countless times for 2 days with no one picking up the phone. At the end, I called Leng Kee service center and managed to get a slot on 18 January. -_-

It shouldn't. Just make sure they tighten down the locking nuts. I had a bad experience with a workshop that didn't tighten the nuts properly after installing new front struts in my previous car. One of the nuts was only a few turns down the thread [mad] . btw, they do bring in K&N drop in Air filter but current no stock and need to wait for next shipment from USA.

I will change it once it is available

Do you know how much they're selling the K&N filter for? Also, is the filter for the 1.5l the same one that is used on the 2l version?
