Not a must but planning to sell.
A bit hard pain after seeing savings drop.
Well of course i wont sell at lost.
If lost i rather use it.
I see if i can sell higher then the money can motivate me to take public transport.

I never aware of that, cannot find any detail.
But i saw a lot of dealer selling the less than 6 months old cars

the rule is first 3 months cannot transfer (sell) and 4th to 6th month transfer need to pay the difference in the coe between the time u sell and your coe.. if coe increase u need to top up the difference...

anyway a lot dunno this ruling, even my friend who work as a car SE also dunno.. the sad state of the knowledge of the car SE in singapore..

    http://www.onemotori...omputation.html

but think if your car use CAT E to register then maybe can sell within first 3 months..

and the more impt thing is u really think u can sell without a loss at his COE climate? for me if someone want to sell me a 3 month old mazda, i will discount off min 10k.. no matter how u maintain your car, its a 2nd hand car to me....

Demo. Car got $5k discount. For 3 month car, I will ask at least $10k off. 6 month car, no $15k no talk.

dont make him sad mah.. haha.. actually i was previously looking at a 4 month old car.. owner backside itchy and want to change to another car.. he sell like 10k below the current price but it was 15k below his buying price as coe drop.. i didnt buy and ended up buying a new one instead.. 2nd owner is still 2nd owner.. to me the 1st owner take the bulk of drepr.. thats why 1st owner get to enjoy the collection of new car feeling! there is a price to pay for the shoikness. !!! haha

Not that I want to make him sad. But he thinks he can make a profit out of his new ride even when COE prices are dropping . and new car once drive out of showroom, value straight away plunge 10%. Becomes 2nd owner for the buyer.

Forget about Mazda increasing their prices recently, it won't sustain where the res to the ads are slashing their prices. The increase in Mazda is to create panic buy but people won't be lured into it..

Price a few weeks ago was as low as $98k. Coe prices dropping and they increase price. Business must have been too good. Dun worry, they will decrease again otherwise lose market share.

its only possible for him when coe is in a increasing trend and must be increasing a lot.. i remember more than 10 years ago when my dad first buy a van, the coe was very low, when we got the van delivered to us the coe went up quite a bit and i remember someone offer to buy from us at a slightly higher price we buy as he wanted to get the van asap..

so not say impossible but in this coe climate i will say three words... BO KO NENG!!

but i actually do hope he can do it becos this means my new car will also be worth more $$ !! hahaha

Yah but coe is dropping and with increased supply, it won't increase any more.

I also bought car. Buy liao, dun look back already. Enjoy the ride.

How come deluxe is 2 USB ports n 1 power socket? Does anyone know?

maybe one is diagnostic/firmware update port. My PC motherboard have a dedicated white port for BIOS firmware easy-update via USB flash drive.

If not, I assume it's just to let you plug in two devices instead of one? Plug one to handphone, one to iPod, or one to USB drive, one to iPod, etc.

MZDConnect is supposed to be advanced system with lots of connectivity after all.

I know for example Ford SYNC2 also have 2 USB ports.

So in all, at least a loss of 15k if not even more cos can only sell after 6 months.

I think if someone can sell a few months old KIA K3 for around $8k less than a current-priced new car... anything is possible in the carrot-chopping second hand market right now

Mazda going to increase price tomorrow again...

Dont quite understand why actually. ..

Maybe because the stock wont be arriving so soon so they raise the price to moderate demand? I heard next shipment is October?

Mazda going to increase price tomorrow again...

Yeap...sales has been superb...I can't even find a parking lot last sat at Leng Kee...have to park and walk from Redhill Market.

According to SE, COE will be going up.....that's way they need to increase price...

Those wanted to book but not decided yet ..too bad you will be missing the boat....

Read this theory from another thread...

Car dealers hate decreasing COE prices. It makes people wait out for even lower prices, and they won't get orders. So to force people to come to a decision, they raise prices instead to instill panic buying. Looking at the demand over the past few weeks, it does seem to work on Singaporeans.

There could be some truth to this. Just look at how Japan is trying to engineer an inflation to end the decades long recession. When price is coming down people tends to wait out for even lower price. But when it shows signs of going up, people cheong to buy like the stock market.

Just to check, how do you carry your key fob?

Do you get a case or something? Realised that the Mazda Key fob is rather long, kinda hard to get any nice key holder for it. Just wanna see what are the rest using to protect the key fob from any cosmetic wear n tear from day to day handling. Any photo would be good...

    Thanks...

They sure tell people their side of their preferred story since they are pricing upwards. I think it's just a matter they oversold during their 30 years promotion sales, and next shipment is still few months to arrive so meanwhile just 'hang up high high' to sell and try to spook customer into buying early.

However, since like stock market the COE price is really depending on dd&ss which is also affected greatly by market sentiments, so who can seriously predict accurately? If COE price goes up we who already bought already rejoice then, but if comes down we suck thumb and enjoy our ride early then lah..

Today start August 2nd bidding, lets wait for the verdict on Wed. If goes up Eurokar may be partially right, if comes down then the last round that few hundred dollars increase is just technical adjustment only.

Anyone know which Mazda Japan Axela models is our M3 standard and deluxe that is imported by AD??

    see here http://www.mazda.co....de/#axela-sedan

    Hmm...

Their top model seem to haveSCBS(Smart City Brake Support) which we did not have?

Also, their base model seem to have an option just to add in the 7" Mazda Connect Screen with Command Controller, which is not offered as an option here for standard?

On another note, imports based on JPY would be more expensive now as SGD has dropped against the JPY since the past few weeks, which could be a contributing factor to the price increase.

Yesterday Eurokar increased price another $2k, which is only shortly after it just increased $1k last Sat. Now standard M3 selling at $106,888.. I'm beginning to wonder if Eurokar knows something about the COE market that we dunno... What a gungho pricing strategy...

No need strategy lah.any other sane person will know that COE will only go one way and that is up Those who are in denial will spend time analyse this and that, hoping it will drop

there are aftermarket navigator system available for Mazda 3 which is about 1k, which is almost 80% similar to the factory build in navigation system.

Anyone install the 8" LCD Head Unit by AD?
    How is it?
Want to check with you, does the in-built car bluetooth and voice command still works as intended from the steering wheel, or the LCD head unit must set up a seperate bluetooth pairing, different from the in-built buttons? Cheers.

Look at inside of driver door. There is usually a sticker to tell you the stock tyre profile and the recommended pressure for both half and full load.

City brake assist is a bloody irritating function.

Not really. I have it in my Oz M3 and it just good to have to give you the peace of mind that the vehicle is constantly monitoring your front to prevent you from any potential collision if you fail to brake in time and only operates in a certain speed parameter. i.e. when you are turning into a slip road and looking out for car,the car in front of you suddenly brake for whatever reason,it willhelp you brakeyour carto prevent collision since your eyes is not observing the front. That is one function that I wish Sg Mz3 would have. Even the top of the range Mz6 it was removed from the FL model. only the pre-fl Mz 6 have this function.

Hi Huge, i agree with you, how i wish the SG M3 has this feature. Especially i had kena such an accident as you mentioned above.

Was at the Mazda (Ubi) showroom today, a lot of M2, M3 and M6 filling up the underground carpark.

Anybody picking up their car today?

Now M3 Std going at $106.8K, but after rebate of $2K for 5-year servicing in-lieu and additional $1K for Finance rebates.

Worth it to add extra$2K for 5-year servicing package? Does it include all service, labour, oil and parts?

How much does actual 5-year of servicing costs estimates if we don't take up that package?

Worth noting that if you take up the additional 5-year package, you need to go back to them for everything in-order not the void the thing. Aka cannot go outside to your own workshop, whichmay be cheaper. However it does provide a fuss-free and convenient experience.

You'll hv to spend that $2k anyway in servicing during the warranty period. No point trying to save a few dollars here n there by going outside and risk voiding your warranty. It's really small change compared to the $106k you've plonked down on a car.

I pondered over the Deluxe, and the factor that almost pushed me into paying 7k more was the fact that the leather is locally fitted instead of factory fitted in the Deluxe. Hope I won't regret it.

The mould of the locally fitted leather should be the same as the factory fitted ones, so if there are wrinkles, it probably means the local workmanship is questionable, you can still raise it to your SE if not manager.

Are the stains obvious because you got white? I chose black because white + locally fitted (quality unknown to me) may mean easily ruined by a pair of jeans.

225/50 r17 was on my mind coz I saw a Passat using that size. Would result in a larger size compared to stock. 215/50 r17 is smaller. Both by 0.8%.

Wow. The stain is totally unacceptable. AD should at least go thru with a leather cleaner mah. The crinkle I guess is is acceptable to s certain extent, given its pretty thick leather. As long as it's not due to poor fitting. I guess everyone who's collecting car during their peak sales season should go thru the car thoroughly. My SE did confess that it's quite a job delivering a car to customer. Imagine the volume this season.

To think Eurokar also carries Porsche and maclaren and their delivery should be up to snuff.

One more thing to check is the solar film application. Make sure the film is pushed and adhered all the way to the edges. Sometimes it's not done properly and it lifts up. My cousin's one has a crease right in the middle of the rear window panel.

I would think Eurokars as AD is bounded by Mazda JP to uphold the brand image and quality for their authorised locally provided fittings, accessories and services.

I just hope that it does not happen to the Maclarens! It if does not, it only goes to show one thing...

    Done! Fitted with Dunlop d05.
Feel less floating as aspect ratio is lower than 60.
    Obviously less comfortable.
Definitely better looking than the 16.
