actually i didnt know that there's aftermarket LCD screen that can be installed, otherwise i may decide to save that 7k...

but then again, i love the cruise control, originally factory fitted leather seats and electric seat function...and hopefully i will never ever need the 4 airbags...
other stuff can be installed at a cost e.g. HID lights (illegal) but without auto leveling...

i went to respray the scratch that son of a bitch did to my 1mth old car, but the feeling is different...
made a police report to ask them to setup patrol.
upsize my memory card to max size (to record longer duration).
and will see if i can install 2 more side camera to catch that b**tard. i will paste his picture all over the neighborhood.
Expect more scratches to come, especially if you park in hdb carparks.people buay song you buy new car. What to do? Even if you install side cams,he can squat low in the middle of the night, slowly make his way and scratch it again
Yes, you can get it installed here...

I dont understand their mentality....people drive new car so u scratch his car...if people buy new house, u burn down his house?
He needs to see a doc fast man....sick in the mind.....
Anyway deluxe at 105.888k v worth it compared to altis 109k....
Altis doesnt have traction control??? I saw on sgcarmart.
Most such incident happens on narrow car park lot in Singapore, therefore I almost avoid parking in a narrow car park lot and try to look for lot that has less chances of kena hit by next car opening the door.
I have a colleague always jealous people with new car and purposely park next to it open the door in a hard way to bang people new car!

Hi folks,

Could you guys share about how many mileages does your fuel meter read after a full tank pump? Initially, mine was about 830km for a full tank fuel, then dropped to 730km, and now only 670km for a full tank fuel. Do some of you experience the same issue or this is just normal and applies to everyone ? BTW I have been using the same fuel (Shell 98) all the while. Thanks for your sharing and comments in advance..

Asked him about paying $180 for the controls and he said "NP, and its the same workshop that installed the 8" LCD."
He added that after collect car then go install is better.

If you meant controlling the LCD "Head Unit" (HU) then Yes, it does. Didnt try but called the workshop previously, they said $180 is including installation. From the pic on the web page, there is the usual nav, music, home buttons like the stock version, except favorites and back button is replaced by phone answer and hangup buttons...

your trip computer starts with 830km? is it a 2.0 with the bigger tank?

if my 1.5 starts with a 730km after a full refill, it's considered not bad already... sometimes 710km only. in reality about 600km.

Hey All,
Made my booking in July and finally secured my coe on the 5th bid on Wednesday. Reason why took so long is because i wanted Titanium Mica and there's no stock (Sales guy told me October shipment). Anyone same situation as me?
I ordered the standard version and my Sales guy was good and upgraded to 8" Lcd player with gps and reverse sensor. And that's not all, he also throw in a front cam and window tint for me. And btw, the price was further bargained to 98k ;).
Hopefully my shipment is already in (that's why they made effort to win the coe 5th bid) and i can collect within the next weeks!
Hello, can share the contact of ur Sales guy? Thanks!

I believed all these will be done by same installer.
After collecting car, i will be installing bodykit (lips, skirting type). Any recommendation?
I will also be changing rim also (going for same size). After trade in usually how much u all top up?

I did not take the kube bond package. I asked them brand of coating. They told me in house brand. So just give it a try. Waste money only.
I think all this pps is purely business lei. It only works temporary. After awhile the effect is gone even if u maintain it. Now I feel the effect will be the same if u apply wax once in two or three weeks. My ride has pps and it doesn't work anymore as it claims - spray water and the bird shit will be gone. :/

My car will arrive in Nov but I have already gotten a package with them. For the bodykit, some other shops (I won't say who, if u want the name pm me) quoted $1.5k which is a rip off but jdm Autocare is fantastic the price is half of that. That is why I love their shop. I have also bought lots of stuff from them since I like the boss attitude and friendliness.
For trade in, I got quoted $500 for new stock wheels from one shop but I got a better deal at $800 from another. Again, pm and I will reveal their names. My rims are very expensive maybe that's why he gave me a better trade in value. When the time is nearer I will reveal all the poison blow by blow with pictures. I am a trigger happy guy when it comes to taking pics of cars.
I Hope mine will be good and worth it. I am also getting the platinum package from them.I did not take the kube bond package. I asked them brand of coating. They told me in house brand. So just give it a try. Waste money only.

looks like someone itchy hand...

eurokars didn't provide casing for mazda 3 front plate. usually, it's laminated plastic, but because yours is a OPC you got a metal one instead (which is actually more expensive). personally, i think the plastic casing disrupts the lines of the mazda 3, which should have an as subtle plate as possible.

it is very easy to get a casing, just looking for vendors on sgcarmart or mycarforum marketplace who do that. but in your case, because of the OPC seal, have to make sure it is properly dealt with...

Totally understand! I have been through the same experience. But I realized that my preference for rims change over the last 3 months. I am so glad I did not rush and buy on impulse. I thought long and hard and went window shopping. I must admit I now pay attention to other cars rims whenever I walk past a car park. This is not my first car, my first car which I have been driving for 10 years was stock in every part all the way. Did not bother to do anything or mod anything. This time, this baby is different, cos this one got looks!

Hi Edd, just sharing some information..
The LTA pin allows the linked pin vehicle to be transferred to another person.
Whoever holds the one-time pin is able to access the LTA system to change the vehicle ownership.
You should keep the pin till the very last moment where you hand over the vehicle to the dealer. They can log in on the spot to change vehicle ownership, not necessarily in your presence, but the dealer should be Kan Cheong to make sure your old vehicle is in their name when you drive off the new one.
Passing the pin to the sales person early relies heavily on trust, and you never know when they will breach it
Collectibg at 10am....yippee....proceed to mod the hi-fi and HID....so exciting!

Tell me about it. We booked ours in mid Sep, SE said delivery is Nov/early Dec, feels like eternity! ;p and last night, our girl was asking when are we getting rid of our current car so that she can start riding in the new Mazda! lol. Enjoy your new ride while we envy you

Thks bro....I am getting married at 10am...:p
Congrats on your "wedding"! Btw, I'm sis, not bro (it's ok, not the first time being mistaken as a "bro" here)
Totally understand!

Absolutely true. Did a couple of rounds of window shopping yet still can't quite decide on the final design. But I must say"Niche Targa" rims is stillin the top of my list.
Only issue here, 17" or 18".

It applies to me too. I have been driving my family's vehicles (mostly conti) for 8 years and every part of it were stock!!
Since thisis my first purchase (myprecious) under my own name, decide to splurge a little to do up the car. I have to admit, I am sold to the looks of M3-HB the moment I saw the press photos.

first car need everything..... part and parcel of car slavery experience :)

simi ceramic coat: i did it, utterly useless against stones, does make it easier to wipe clean but not worth the $

Rims: stock too small, 17 is good balance for looks and comfort, 18 is great looks but low comfort

bodykits: personal choice, looks good

tuning chip: no point void warrenty. the low end of this mazda 3 shld be sufficient to ensure you do not reach the next traffic light last.

Hi Vegas, I guess you are right. Be it modification or cosmetic enhancement, it will never satisfy one's THIRST!!
Paint protection film even came across my mind.. But the cost is exorbitant. Perhaps I will just stick to glass coating and get my groomers to maintain every week.

For Rims, I really can't set my mind on 17" or 18". Price difference is not much. Likewise for kits, seems that in Singapore we can only find "Mazdaspeed" of "Kenstyle". I am drawn towards the 2016- M3 MPS bodykit!! Maybe next car??

Turning chip, so long it does not map the ECU, it will not void warranty right? I am still new to this, perhaps you can enlighten me more?
Can see the exact number?
I was kind of hoping for SKV.. Sound a bit like skyactive in short.. Haa..

haha that was exactly my thoughts as well bro. SKV short for skyactive! so confirm its SKW?
Collectibg at 10am....yippee....proceed to mod the hi-fi and HID....so exciting!

exciting indeed man! enjoy the experience and the feeling!

Hey Nkim,

I went through this phrase after collecting my ride in Aug. Just to share my experience.. 1st thing i did was the paint protection coating.. cost quite alot though.. however after driving for 2 mths, i must say i appreciate it.. the groomer told me no promises against stone chip.. and i accepted his explanation.. as for the rest.. just add a little water and its gone..

and then came the wheels.. i decided on 17" due to several reasons.. 1. comfort and 2. performance.. i was afraid that if i changed to 18" my ride would become more bumpy and sluggish during pickup. 18" is relatively heavier than stock rims.

you are right on the bodykits.. not much choices around.. but after changing to 17" wheels.. looks weird without a kit so i just installed the mazdaspeed kit..

Chips such as uni / rschip most workshop advised me against it.. not that it voids the warranty.. u have to remove it when u send for servicing .. just in case.. but importantly they said the gain is not much.. perhaps i'll try it after 3 years warranty.

most importantly enjoy your ride.. this M3 baby rocks.. only flaw i feel now is cabin noise.. which i'm exploring sound proofing now.. just did up the wheel archs.. next footwell and maybe door..

dont forget the cost of tyres too =) some 17 - 18 tyres will have a difference since you need to x4.

Not sure lei. but base on the link that Sis Momoechan, it seems to be allocating SKW now.
shall find out next week

Hi Isaac2308,

Great advice I must say. I think now the main concern here is to determine if I am willing to sacrifice the comfort and proceed with the looks.
Pros & Cons for the RSchip.. Definitely will be a hassle whenever I am sending for subsequent service.

Cabin noise, perhaps it derives from the tyre that you are using?
dont forget the cost of tyres too =) some 17 - 18 tyres will have a difference since you need to x4.

Hi Swiftgolfer,

The price I checked after trade in with 17" Niche Targa rims and Goodyear tyres, $1.5K++
Difference between 18" is around $200-$300 odd.

But of course, it really depends on the tyres that I am choosing.
For those who collected car recently... just checking what was your VIN number range...
Is it like JM6BM....G031xxxx range ??

Don't worry bro Axela, I made the same mistake too... You r not the first
By the way anyone wants to buy the plate relocator? It's made by a group of Mazda enthusiasts from Philippines but they don't have PayPal account set up. But I exchanged email with him, one of his friends coming over to SG end of the month and will bring the plate relocator over. If you interested let me know. I declare that I don't have any vested interest.
Org a mass sound proofing purchase for Maz 3?
Im thinking of doing wheel well 1st.
I don't mind joining. Any recommendations?
