2014 Mazda 3 part 44

I myself is a believer of paint protection. I did it for my previous ride, 3 years later when I sold the car, paint work was still very good considering i park under the sun. Of course, cannot expect it to be protected from the obnoxious folks who park beside you and open doors with no care in the world lah.

I had mine done the 5th day I took delivery.

Any recommendations or lobang for PPS?

    What is the costs?

Several hundreds of dollars if not even in the low thousand.

And still requires regular maintenance every 6 months. Not worth it. It's just a car.

Can try the big names like Ace GT ($1,200+) or you can try some other smaller names like GroomersLab (probably $600, they aren't showy but let you ask all the question you want).

Also got places like Elite ID and Autogylm (though Autogylm do it more of a protection plan).

Also SGCM recently write an article about a place called Artisan, which is all glamor and showfloor with lounge and things like that...

As Ivan say, car is a car, if you don't worry so much then you can skip it. But from what I've seen from others, good quality PPS has a real effect and makes long term care easier (washing much easier also) and does protect the paint.

But not as good protection as say a body film or wrap.

also got one in SGCM products & services section called Permanon... they come to you and do it for like $100~$200 I think

Has anyone engaged Unique 1995 for pps before? Is it good? Any alternative to recommend? Pls advise?

When i got my first ride 3 months back... i am also keen to do PPS...

after 2nd thought.... considering I always parked in sheltered car park at work or home.... [confused] . finallyaborted that thought....

I once checked out usual PPS cost around $699 or more... and last around 2years and with care needed also...

    My 2 cents worth;

Just wash 1 once a month, manual or outsourced (u know what i mean..) give good result...

save that $600 x 2 ($1200) to get a new spray at 4th years .... definitely shine better than a 4years old car with 2 times PPS....?

    Think about it.....

Permanon says they will come to you and do the first job for you and explain to you how to do the self-care and reapplication so you can DIY the care of the coat. Maybe that will be most suitable for you given their low price.

If you are OK to spend more though, places like GroomersLab claim theirs is really no maintenance and last for 5 years as long as it gets some washing time to time. They also say washing can just use water and wipe without chemicals. I cannot vouch for the claims though of course.

Wow, wish we had this discussion earlier. I've done mine at CSII last month, took their basic package only, nano treatment, they have all the higher end ones, after discount price for new M3 are as follows:

    Basic: 318

    glass: S$718
    ceramic: S$808
    titanium: S$1,096

Package include 24 warranty (for basic) 36 months for the other higher end ones, and a $25 produce/service voucher. The effect is not bad (very easy to wash, just splash water and one wipe through totally shiny) but too early to say anything since dunno actually how long it last. There is also a 12 months warranty if the shine (there is an index they could measure it) drops 10% in 12 months they would touch up for you for free. If after 12 months you want to touch up on your own they give you 40% over initial price. Ok lah, I guess, can consider. website atwww.cs2singapore.com. I don't know anyone there so don't need to ask me for recommendation, just call them directly if you interested, lol.

I actually booked for $150 package. Upon arrival, I sought Raymond's advice and he mentioned that it depends on owners needs. Some go for regular polishing and don't need PPS. Most prefer PPS as they don't have the habit of polishing often. I then asked how much is his PPS, and he quoted $300 and comes with 2 years warranty. I did a quick mental sum and went for $300 PPS instead of $150 polishing. Better to have extra layers of protection anyway.

Give Raymond a call, he is running an anniversary promotion till end October. I am just a satisfied customer, and am not related or receive any commission.

But parf value at 10th year still has $2.5k as compared to $6k parf for Mazda 3.

Diesel is so cheap but of cos slightly more expensive road tax. And it's a continental, so reliability issues.

For the clio, the additional road tax is about $60 per month. But with the vast difference in diesel $1.23 vs $2++ for petrol before discount. It's a no Brainerd.

Assuming you pump 100litres of petrol a month. The savings from disesl is $70. Not including the additional savings you pump much less diesel for your car.

I can't stand the smoke and noise coming out from diesel engine... it gives me terrible headache after about half an hour of exposure.

I would suggest you make a call to rikecool or drive to their workshop direct. They did mine for less than an hour. It's in Ubi, near Mazda show room. No question ask service. It would be best to bring your warranty card along, but for mine they only want to know my car collection date . Eurokars, will take a while to engage all 3rd party installer.

Sorry find it hard to post at marketplace. I have a used grey waterproof car cover used on my previous Honda civic fd2 in good condition. Bought from autobac. I think can fit on mazda 3 since dimensions are quite close to civic. Do pm me if u are keen. Selling at 20 dollars. Thanks

Can be done with Nissan cars. However owners need to sign on a form stating that they requested it so that dealer cannot be blame if driver gets caught with video player while the car is in motion.

now prices back to $106.8K for m3 standard and $112.8K for deluxe 6-bid non-guaranteed,

Btw, what accessories are already included when AD deliver car? so dont need to order those..e.g. Car Mat, Sun Shades, etc??

For bubbles it's better to rectify within months after collecting the car. As for the rest like color fade, or peeling, you can check with rikecool. But I believe it's under warranty like any other optic film workshop.

Hi, My wife's Mazda 3 is 1 yr old with low milleage. We sent in the car on 7 Sep 15 to Mazda Service Centre for 1st warranty maintenance. After collecting back the car, on 18 Sep 15, the Infotainment System started shutting down during drive. Up to 22 Sep 15, it shut down on 12 occasions. Sometimes after 2 mins of starting the car, sometimes after 20 mins. When car is started up, the system started back on. When the system shut down, FM radio is the first to go silent, then the 8" monitor screen goes blank and so we are without navigator and reverse camera and everything else associated with the system.

Sent in the car on 22 Sep 15 for investigation at around 9.30am. Informed around 4.30pm that the Infotainment System CPU module has a defect and they got to order a replacement from Japan. Will take about a month to deliver. In the meantime, we have to live with this problem. Anyone with this issue?

In Jul, Mazda 3 standard was selling at $98k after all discount excluding trade in. Deluxe was around $105k.

Check the price list dated 24 Jul, only two months ago. COE has dropped since then but Mazda increased its prices instead by so much....

So you are saying by waiting, though COE dropped but prices increases. CEVS rebate already the same in July liao. Eurokars must be laughing all the way to the bank. Cos everyone rushing to buy so they afford to increase the price to be the next Toyota.

Still can deduct, confirmed plus chop back then. Recently think they are quite strict liao cos people spoil market.

Higher OMV also useless. Maybe increase by $1k OMV, end of 10th year only get back $500 more but you are paying some 7++k more upfront. No logic.

Mazda really pattern. When coe dropped it kept increasing the price. WTH.

I booked on Sunday. Actually, I was not planning to book as I still found it expensive. But somehow, I made an impulse buy when he threw in the car camera...

I was actually leaning towards the altis lor. Imagine the dui when toyota msg me with elegance model at the price of standard with free guaranteed coe thrown in..

I chose soul red la. October production. Fastest nov get.

Ya surprised that BM lowered the effective all-in price of Altis Elegance so much from $115k just last week to $107k today and guaranteed coe somemore...
Perhaps there is some additional conditions like ex stock or something... and also JPY is rising and THB is falling agst SGD gave them more margins...

But M3 here is MIJ vs Altis is MIT... and looks much better...

Bro momoechan, that's good we are both soul-red mates. Was thinking of going to a shop to put a black colour wrap above the front headlamp, see pic attached. Makes it look fierce and looks good with soul red.

How about you? What are your mod plans or accessories plans for your car?

Bro, swee lei! Where to do it and how muchie? Wonder will it look nice on white.

I heard that the car can do video recording from iPhone. Means we use iPhone to shoot road video and record into the sd card slot in the car. Is it true? Those people who have used this function? Can you verify?

Oh dear, feedback given to me on this forum was that most got their COE within first 2 attempts, that's why we went for non-gtd COE confidently but wasn't expecting to get our COE so soon either since our car is not arriving till Nov. not too sure how the Eurokars work with COE bids but I agree that they'll definitely get you your COE. Fingers crossed for you that you'll get it in Oct first bid.

Nice. Did you fix this on your own or got someone to do it for you? And this is a silly question but will it void the warranty?

SE bedded 100 bucks short. Funny cos since the first bid, their reserved price keeps falling. Anyway my deluxe soul red arriving next mth. So SE guarantee chop me next one cfm get.

But I'm ok even if he misses all 6 bids since I have 3+ yrs more on my current ride. But that will make an example out of me though. Hahaha
