Just complain to se. I sent him photos and he told me to go ubi to look for the customer service officer. Apparently he told me the manager do not want to handle my customer. Will feedback and post the picture after the visit.

I will see how they are going to answer my unhappiness. :(

First pic is the crumpled driver seats. The rest are stains. Lucky collected on yesterday.

did you ask the SE if the seats are factory or local fitted? If it's the former, likely stay inside the freight for too long, if it's the latter, then it's just a pure job done by the local contractor for Eurokars.

The customer service has taken the picture and feedback to their system. Have arrange to see them around 3week, just nice ard my 1k servicing. He say the contractor will take a look and decide how to resolve this issue.

What i feel is they have too many new cars to deliver, hence the quality might compromised. As some forumer said, better check thouroughly cos u spend 100k for 1 car, gonna make sure ur $ is well spend. Mine consider lucky cos i alrdy feedback the day i collect and the se know it too. So they cannot put the blame on me.

Side track abit, privacy, ur rim looks great! Made me wana change, but i afriad fc will drop and i find 16 inch also not bad. See how :)

Wahlao, for a brand new car, that leather staining and crumpling looks as if it's already been driven 5 years.

Yours is Standard (local leather) or Deluxe (factory leather)?

My friend got a Mazda 5 last month. The day before they delivered the car, they claimed that the leather were out of stock n told my friend to come back and install leather seats during first servicing.

After some hoohaa, they managed to deliver with leather seats.

Didnt know it comes with fabric. Showroom std car is with leather and the car brochure also listed leather seats as a std specifications; so didnt occur to ask i think. Did the car brochure for m3 last year version listed fabric seats instead of leather seats as std specs??

Personally for an extra popular car such as this I would probably request factory seats even if fabric. Since popular car the quality can go haywire...

Or with some european brands like Peugeot, can feel the difference in finesse and detail between the original fabric and the locally fitted leather.

Only thing is fabric seats affect resale value a bit because of SG mentality...

Unless you want to stay with fabric seats cos it will not be worth to do it outside.
They will deduct a fraction of the cost if you dun want the leather seat ( if the package for the car is with leather but add a bomb if you want to add leather seat when the package of the car is with fabric seat.
    Just MHO.

Mine is standard too, and white with black trims. Nicely done.

Must be the large orders and the use of temp staff / apprentice to do the job. Nothing like an experienced craftsman to do a proper job.

But the stains are not forgivable. Surely they would have used a temporary plastic cover for the driver's seat when the car needed to be driven. Mechanic's etc pants are always dirty on the behind, as they tend to wipe their hands at the buttocks.

I used to have a solar powered exhaust fan fixed to the upper part of the window. It cools down the interior quite well when parked in the sun. Unfortunately with the immigration officers now require one to wind down the windows, sometimes all of them, it cannot be fitted.

Thus my alternative was to choose white. It does make quite a difference from my previous Dark grey.

Heheheheheh. My thoughts exactly. But even the standard already has, in my opinion, too much electronics. I find the iStop bothersome. The sun roof, irrelevant. The auto dimming rearview, not essential. And of course I don't use blue tooth too.

By today's standard, I would be happy with a `Flintstone's ' basic car. lol

You are right. My apologies to all. Been away for some time.

I did ask the Mazda servicing in JB about the Smart City-brake. They don't do that there. For that, you may have to go to theKedah assembly plant!

Seems, a lot of dismantling, wiring and installing needed, and of course the testing.

    Shanghai composite slides 8.5% today!!!

I checked some of the pricing online for msia coating...more or less about the same..about 1k rm for good ones...

Anyway I dont think its worth it to pay 400 500 for paint coating when a respray of same colour is 800 900?

I did glass coating. But frankly I have some misgivings about an apllied layer that can last 3-5 years. Same here, let's see if it warrants a re-application after 3-5 years.

Usually it needs regular washing, quick removal of bird shits and raintree flowers. With proper care, it should last, but not as long as claimed. It's because come rainy season, it's like having too many car washes!

Now I just stick to regular 4 layer polishing ( once every 6 months ) and in between wash and waxing.

Has anyone tried coating in malaysia? Heard its cheaper by half and the job is well done. Thinking of installing camera also in malaysia. Any recommendation?

There is an Autobacs near Aeon Tebrau City ( formerly Jusco ). You can enquire from them. This is the genuine Autobacs.

Along Tebrau highway, nearer to JB city, there is an Autobac. ( No `s' )This is a copy cat. Not the genuine one.

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares suffered their worst one-day plunge in seven years as a sharp sell-off on Wall Street and rout on stock markets across Asia.

The benchmark Straits Times Index closed at 2,843.39, down 4.3 per cent or 127.62 points on Monday, weighed down by a sell-off on bluechip constituents DBS, OCBC, Singtel, Jardine Matheson, Hongkong Land.

DBS plunged 3.5 per cent or 64 cents to S$17.65; OCBC shed 4.4 per cent or 40 cents to S$8.70; Singtel dropped 4.1 per cent or 16 cents to S$3.78. Jardine Matheson plunged 5 per cent or US$2.56 to US$48.57, while Hongkong Land slipped 6.9 per cent or 50 cents to S$6.75.

    Coe looks set to plunge..

If everyone thinks the same way, and rushes in, it will go up!

Singapore's COE is gravity defying, to the point of being ridiculous!

Haha.. no stock anyway... think they are not in a hurry to sell..
By the way, I wonder how many mazda 3 they sold so far, been seeing alot on the road :/

I checked some of the pricing online for msia coating...more or less about the same..about 1k rm for good ones...

Anyway I dont think its worth it to pay 400 500 for paint coating when a respray of same colour is 800 900?

Camera go for reputable ones...I burnt 2 China brand cams...fed up..and bought Thinkware..shall see how reliable it is...monitoring..

Based on LTA statistics they've been selling about 300 sedans a month, so if we assume majority of those are Mazda3s, probably 250+ each month.

Behind the Corolla Altis, arguably the Mazda3 is the next most popular Japanese saloon.

1k RM is now only about $345 probably due to the floundering exchange rate. It's a lot cheaper than a full job of around $500~800 done here, but of course you have to risk bringing your shiny new car up north just for the job.

A respray job is not $800~900 these days, I think... usually more like $2,000?

Paint protection systems, if they really work, should make maintenance easier, washing easier, keep the car looking good throughout its lifespan, and most importantly maintain the original paintwork.

Nothing beats the original factory coat, as most would say.

    mazda 6 17 stock rims = 11.2kg.

    original 16" should be 9kg+

D05 noiser than stock Toyo Nano Energy but confirm more grip, bearing in mind that Maz6 rims are 1" wider and bigger, more contact to road = more noise...unavoidable...

One of the factor's affecting the likelihood of aquaplaning is the tire contact area.. As quoted from wiki.. "The longer and thinner the contact patch, the less likely a tire will aquaplane. tires that present the greatest risk are small in diameter and wide."

Looks like a number of contributing factors which includes both mentioned...extract fr the link:

    Vehicle sensitivity factors[edit]
    • The driver's speed, acceleration, braking, and steering
    • Tire tread wear Worn tires will aquaplane more easily for lack of tread depth. Half-worn treads result in aquaplaning about 34mph (57km/h) lower than with full-tread tires.[6]
    • Tire inflation pressure Underinflation can cause a tire to deflect inward, raising the tire center and preventing the tread from clearing water.
    • Tire tread aspect ratio The longer and thinner thecontact patch, the less likely a tire will aquaplane. tires that present the greatest risk are small in diameter and wide.[citation needed]
    • Vehicle weight More weight on a properly inflated tire lengthens the contact patch, improving its aspect ratio. Weight can have the opposite effect if the tire is underinflated.
    • Vehicle type Combination vehicles like semi-trailers are more likely to experience uneven aquaplaning caused by uneven weight distribution. An unloaded trailer will aquaplane sooner than the cab pulling it. Pickup trucks or SUVs towing trailers also present similar problems.
