Actually considering what other Bros bought their rides last few months, these prices are amazing (lower depre but less flexibility for changing car earlier due to lower equity, assuming 5 yr loan remains)

Agree with the sentiment that Eurokar has reached max sales, so SE seems to be playing hard ball. �Their pricing is reverse of the COE trend too, COE comes down, they priced upwards. �Though I am not a big fan of the opinion that GE goodies will include lower COE prices. �Firstly, previous GE trend didn't suggest such effects, though the intent and tactics may be there (seen by the release of additional 9.7% more COE quota from Aug to Oct) but the eventual outcome is still contingent on market sentiments. �People rush in because of bigger quota, �anticipating lower price, but contrary of dropping it may instead goes up (like August 1st COE bidding). �Unless the the additional 9.7% quota can suck up all the unsatisfied demand for 55k COE, it's going to be tough to push the COE price below $50k, it probably will fluctuate around $50 - 55k for sometime. However, I am going to go out on a limb to say breeching $50k is a dream - many people who may have given up buying new car because of high COE will rush back to buy new cars if that new low is reached and will push it back up above $50k again. �

So, imo if you plan to buy at the absolute bottom of COE price you need to be prepared to pay $2k additional to guarantee the COE in 6 bids (otherwise in a rising COE scenario you will never get your car unless you top up). �In which case, you may as well go in when the COE is still on a falling trend and at a price you are already comfortable and has enough time to wait for your new ride (especially if you have a COE expiring old car)... �

I test drive both 1.5 and 2.0. No offence but initially want�to get 1.5 but after test drive, with 3 adult in car (average size) 1.5 is really under power.. Having said that,�no doubt Mazda handling is good.
Sigh. �That's what I felt from the first 15 mins engaging him, only interested to close the deal but everything also cannot, not one bit of sweetener, but I too heart-softed, should have walk away, go to Leng Kee branch to get another SE to serve me I probably would be happier now. �Finding a good SE is very important, afterall we are buying a hefty 6 digit product, it really sux to have lousy SE who after ripping you off and still give you lousy service. �Basic thing like replying to SMS also dunno, the other time can even tell me he already told me the answer on last SMS, I checked the SMS, KNS.. total BS only..�

You're lucky, mazda just up their price by 1K today. They keep on doing this for every bidding, every bidding up 2k at the end of the day.

I wouldn't name him if I were you, at least not until you collected your car. What if someone from Eurokars see this and inform him how? He may investigate then realise it's you, maybe he'll be nice and apologise to you but what if he isn't? He may do something to your car behind your back in the workshop before collection or purposely delay the collection if you haven't made balance payment. Basically do all sorts of things within his limits to make your life difficult, but most importantly is, have you made balance payment?�

I just went to visit the UBI showroom to take a look at the prices and model. Currently, eyeing on the M3 sedan. But damn sianz to see the price going up instead.

I had wondered too. But looking at all the prices of premium vs standard models of cars like Cerato Forte (SX v EX), Latio (premium v normal), I'm very doubtful.

Just took delivery of my mazda 3 standard on Thursday.
It comes with 1 USB port and 2 power sockets. Hope that helps! :)

went in to showroom today and pay for my downpayment. quite crowded. Se was saying the cars delivery now going from oct to nov onwards. seems like they have alot of backlog. Hope to get my car real soon! :)

You want to sell more than what you paid for? I think it's..... Un Un Un Un Un believable.
A few weeks ago, the cheapest m3 standard after all in is $98k. With more COE coming in, it's highly likely that m3 will drop to 90k and below.
So it will be a tough sell for you also.

A lot of those "used cars" that are less than 6 months old are actually baits. For eg Vezels, lots of them. They are just to attract people to go down, whereupon the dealer will then push the prospective buyer to buy a new car.

I also a bit heart pain about savings drop, but it's either spend now or spend later... also need to consider rule of 78 when you sell, if you take a loan. The $3,500 "discount" that was given when you took a loan has to be factored in.
