Social media was enthralled today by a video of a bust up between two parties at a car workshop.

More specifically, many were�impressed by�a white umbrella-toting lady who demonstrated her supreme fluency in Hokkien-swearing and umbrella kungfu.

Here�s a refresher in case you missed the action (warning: strong language):

But for more than 8 hours, people were clueless as to what caused�the altercation, and what happened in the aftermath. Details on social media and on�Hardwarezone�forums were sketchy.

Luckily, the good folks at�Channel 8 News�found out that the fight, which took place in the morning of May 25, was between car workshop employees and staff from�a neighbouring insurance company. Both are located at Pioneer Point.

Here�s a second video believed to be CCTV footage within the workshop:

Fight over parking and boundaries

According to�Channel 8 News,�both companies have been at loggerheads since January this year. The cause is likely due to the parking of cars in front of both companies.�Channel 8 News�made mentions of Facebook posts by oneCindy Soh�who is believed to be an employee of the car workshop.

She shared several photographs of traffic cones used to demarcate the boundaries between workshop and insurance company. One photograph even showed the cones being adorn with Chinese amulets used traditionally to ward off evil spirits.

Soh also shared a video during the Chinese New Year period and wished the boss of the insurance company bad luck for the new year (skip to 0:40 to see a vehicle running over the traffic cones):

The police is now looking into the altercation

Channel 8 News�reported that the police was called to the scene and confirmed that there was a case of voluntarily causing hurt. Three people were conveyed conscious to the hospital. The police are investigating the case.

*Edit on May 27, 8:30am: According to Channel 8 News, the case has been reclassified to a case of affray (fighting in public places).*
