Yeah, I really like the rear lights of the face lifted k5, the tron looking lights, but the front looks a little weird. Blackberry logo fog lights.

And what are the things that they are going to down for the future spec?I went to view the car recently, the SE says this 1st two batch is the higher specs, with the bi xenon headlight and stuff. They are going to down spec for the future batch to make the price more competitive to the elantra.

The lower specs will not have HID, rear spoiler and touch screen headunit. Instead it will have an aftermarket rear view mirror that will have GPS, reverse cam and DVR function but it will take up half the rear view mirror.

this is why we sg always get under spec car, cos these bloody AD wants to keep the same profit but sell the car cheaper...

with the lower spec, I am not sure K3 will still be as attractive.... Like that means AD indirectly kill the car and the image Kia trying to build for K3...

if u wanna be more kiasu, go flush out the eo after 50km of driving,.. replace with fresh mineral oil, then drive until 1K(if that's kia std guideline..) service....
At 18k OMV, if they price above Altis (about 15k OMV), surely people will start to comment that they are overpriced bla bla bla.
Honestly i feel even they are bringing lower spec, its still a good package compare to its competitors in term of price & features.
in fact, they can consider to bring the current spec with 8" screen like KOR / US version and sunroof as option.

Haha! How come you receive your road tax disc then collect car later? Normally is the other way round. This probably mean that your car has been registered long time buy AD just hold on to it. Really WTF.

my SE was the one going thru the checks with us, he spotted the lcd screen dead pixels.. haha lots of time to slowly check :)

Just top-up petrol this morning,not so good economy,can get only 11.4km/L,mostly 1 person driving only,60%highway,40% city driving,used 98 Caltex Platinum petrol,tires pumped to 40 psi,even drink more than my 2.5L Mazda 6,same condition,can easily get 12.4km/L.....maybe needs to go change oil...hopes better after servicing.

Based on car computer or manual calculation? Normally car computer not accurate one. I do mine base on manual calculation. Anyways car still new worldwide...no official figures yet. Maybe after servicing change to fully syn should achieve better results. My current car got better FC after 5k servicing Liao...hope for the better bro!

Mineral oil Ofcause higher fc. Gauge the fc when hit around 5k, let it season out and stabilized... Anyway , fc also depends and driving style and right foot... My ave fc on previous vios was around 10 only...
