nice! what is Dechrome? actually the body kit is so slim and thin, i am wondering if the mudflaps can still fit on over the body kit after installation. When i bought the mudflaps, it stated not compatible with body kits.

hehe i think he changed the rims entirely. I think the current rims look ok leh... the K3 horn, instead of puny, i find it not sensitive enough. In previous cars, i can do light taps for a small warning, and hard presses for serious warnings/pissed off situations.

Thanks all, Yes I change the rims entirely, I use back the tyres though, so rims remains at 17". :)

hehe 100% agree on the horn....wanna warn pedestrians feel paiseh cuz end up too loud.

Yes fully agreed the horn is too soft and not sensitive enough.

My bodykit is free. I booked the sports version. Just that they forgot to install my bodykit during my collection of the car(i think im the only one but my SA told me few other sports are impacted as well). So i installed mine 2 weeks later, and coincidentally my gf mount kerb and dent-ed it haha. So i repair+fix the body kit at the same time.

the display sports sx, they have the dry carbon print on the side mirror/boot lip/front grille. and some decals on the side of the car..

was checking out taobao for body kits, can get at about 1000 yuan for the whole kit fully painted, about 600 yuan unpainted, which is quite cheap.

before deciding on purchasing, need to figure out the best way to purchase with the least shipping cost. the boxes will be big.

I was asked go malaysia do nut scared car get stolen. Lol. The lip bot worth 2k. 1k plus sg outside can do and get nicer.

I should be able to paint the flaps glossy white with a spray can quite easily, probably don't need the flaps to have the snow pearl effect.

imo, since the body is roundy, as long as the body kit installed is not too exaggerating, overall feel should be quite ok. Like I mentioned the C&C is subtle, though some might feel the body kit, dont have much "feel"

I should be able to paint the flaps glossy white with a spray can quite easily, probably don't need the flaps to have the snow pearl effect.

I would say leave them unpainted, the black color adds some contrasting accent to the bottom of the car. Appears more rugged. In addition, white mudflaps will get muddy looking. At least when it's black it doesn't look bad.

I wrap a cloth around a useless cash card/credit card also can. Den slowly slot in. To "cut" away the 3m tape behind..when you manage to slot in abt 3/4, u can simply pull out e logo. Den clean away the 3m tape on e body before pasting e K logo. Hope it helps...lol..

When i took out e original logo. E body have the 3m residue which i use polish to slowly clean away. E original logo behind have to things pop out. E boot have two holes. But when i pull out e logo, e logo does not "clip" on e boot. I think its just for e logo to stay in place on e boot.

If wanna use fishing lines. U will stop halfway, cos there is two thing behind e logo which will prevent u from "sliding" e line across.

wa nice hehe....ya agree plasti dip seems like a very useful solution, can peel off somemore if not happy with the look, and dun need to worry too much about overspray that can be removed. May do that for my tires when i get sick of the current sports rim look

Got caught in a big jam yesterday on the way home. I noticed that nearing to the end of my journey, i found that the car vibrates a little when i am stationary at the traffic lights. I remembered this happening some time ago as well on another occasion, similar situation after a long drive and jams.

When i was unloading some groceries from the boot, i could see the exhaust vibrating more than normal, that to me should be the source of the vibrations.

�

everything is back to normal though the next day, smooth and stable. Is this normal? perhaps due to the engine being hotter than normal hence vibrate more?

nope, no incidents involving the back of the car, and everything is smooth in normal driving, only noticed it coming up after being stuck in jams on 2 occasions. In normal cases, no vibrations when the car is stopped and engine running.

Unlikely to be mountings.Esp for a brand new car

Seems like the engine was running richer than norm since there's little airflow in jams, plus our super hot weather... its not uncommon to see almost 50c temp at the air intake.�The ECU needs to make the fuel/air ratio up to prevent pre-detonation due to insufficient air flow at the intake.

I would say it happens to most if not all cars. It happens to my Civic till this day too. Drive on the highway all the day long and the engine will be seriously smooth, esp at idle, so much so that many relatives and some frens who sat in my Civic thought the engine has died. LOL

Getting stuck in a jam, eg that #$%25'>!#$%^ causeway jam, and the engine will run/idle rougher. It will smoothen itself up after you drive awhile on the highway.... and preferably power down and power up again.

what i got was free 3 years servicing, if i remember is 1k, 10k, 20k, 30k, free servicing, no need pay for engine oil, etc. but does not cover battery replacement or consumables like tires, etc.

Actually C&C charges are really high but of cuz you know your car is good with them. I was with them on 2 packages and switched to my own servicing outside.. Really much cheaper but need to find a good and reliable workshop.

My mechanic hates me everytime i change car. He will always say 3 years no earn my money. But i will always tell him, free servicing u dun want meh? Lol....usually i will go back to my regular workshop after 3 years. Parts/labour outside cheaper...:)

that's just the steering wheel horn button spring and not any electrical or structural elements of the car, no need to be that paranoid.

I dun like Hyundai brand, altis interior design orbiang, Mazda sales personnel bo hiew me. Hence I decided to go for k3 looool.

Anyway altis is 10k more than k3 so if gt budget constraint jiu go for k3 lor. Mazda 3 their leg space n boot space cannot fight w k3.

Last week Mazda 3 price was at 110k now is 108k w guarantee Coe
K3 sport was 113k now 105k w guarantee coe
Altis I forgot liao drop ard 3k de price.

Hehe no upgrade to the lights. Not that good at modifying electricals. So far my mods only on external parts like the spoiler and chrome parts.

The hdb carpark root lighting was very yelloish. So i had to edit the colors to make the car back to the orginal white. So the lights became cool too :)

Yes, before I Bought Nissan Sylphy, my brother-in-law did say Sunny FC very high and very cramped. However I did ask around and made some comparison and finally decided to buy Sylphy. Anyway I also never like Sunny.

Not looking at the Ex model. Just the sport model. But haven gone down to discussing about the pricing and details. Just an introduction by the SE on the pricelist and the upgrade items. And the fugly HU on the display car caught my eye.

Went at 12, nobody in KIA...shld have test drive then but the carnival over at Mitsubishi caught my eye. Went over to makan, test drove the Citroen grand Picasso. By that time, kia was packed. Waited too long to test drive, so left for another day.

the K3 eurostyle, quite responsive, you have to cater for the fact that it is not a capacitive touch screen, but is a resistive touch screen. so you have to actually depress on the screen, not only touch.

the sound is quite good, i just needed to tweak the bass and mids up a 2-3 steps to make it pleasing to my ears.�

Good thing about the eurostyle is the GPS search is pretty easy to use, and the system is integrated with the rear reverse camera.
