mine doesn't even have the ignition cut... which means if some1 can get inside the car n the alarm kpkb.. all he hav to do is to press the reset button inside and can drive away liao... assuming if he has the key

i felt i got cheated by my $150 alarm.... haha... maybe i just didn't like that guy..
should have gone to pxx xxxg there... their alarm seems better. also, they serve drinks and have mag to read there...

somehow i feel safer if i lock the doors manually... cos there were times b4 my passenger side really confirm spoil... that i thought the door was locked after i pressed the remote...

then ppl wanna sit nv wait for me to unlock, just open the door

... then got alarm sound....

wahz....siong...the remote is actually automate the locking of the driver lock...meaning the central lock. hence ur passenger side actually need tightening...so that "jia" when u perform remote central lock.

soaping takes the longest...around 10 minutes cos lots of mud....

after which use water and cloth to wipe away soap...kao tim..

Normally i take 30 minutes too..

corolla got more body to wash mah...that's why need more effort

itz a honda city 1.5L 5MT. idsi model already got so much power, i wonder wad will happened to the vtec model

i went mark cool today finally.... but he hooked up the air con gauge, in which one of the gauges had its cover blown off and dunno how he took the reading but he said that my aircon was fine... dun even need to top up a/c gas

but when i on and drive, i can feel like the car suddenly has alot of drag.. like its being pulled back or something... maybe the compressor needs cleaning or something

then i went simon there to do my bolt, as one of the compressor bolt dropped off, felt bad go all the way there to do a simple bolt.. so shun bian changed my brake fluid

at first he told me aiyah ten plus dollars only... so i said ok

wah! he charged me $15 for the fluid + $30 for the labour. in total $45...

esso sell dot4 for less than $7... next time DIY le
he ask if wanna service oil...

think i better DIY that too... end up bought an oil filter too

change fluid i see quite simple... just remove tyres, and open the nut on the brakes, pump brakes to flush, and then top up...

felt like i was chopped...

asked how much to change OEM pads, he said at least $100.. and doesn't include skimming..

honda was having the GL squarish type and due to vtec engine model later, the honda civic is still racing boy no. 1 choice till now and all insurance companies will put more loading to such insurance due to high accident rate...cos too much cheonging of such cars

arghhh.... they dripped some of the brake fluid onto my side panel!!!!

now the paint like corroded.. permanent liao

die die.... used autoglym also no use.... now like the paint have a pop out effect.. summore have one splash mark then drip one line so long.. i tried to scratch then the paint for the splash mark came out! now have 2 spots of red... which was the previous colour...

the painting wasn't very good thou... they didn't sand off the previous colour so the current paint doesn't stick very well....

oh.. dunno the name of the guy at MC that came to me.. got so mant ppl working there.
but he was quite old uncle.. the slightly younger than him but still quite old uncle was quite dao...

but that older one quite nice... didn't charge for checking my car with the a/c gauge..

rear strut bar charge me $90... still ok ba

NGK spark cables $205... abit ex, about same price as autobacs, which is already quite expensive.... but no chioce swift is quite rare so can't find outside

but i got the splitfire sparkplugs at $95.. and after awhile, i found that it was the cause of my engine probs... weird idling.. vibrations.. etc

ened up switching to NGK stock plugs n so much better

they have almost everything i think... n alot of parts for swiftie since outside dun really sell

forget to tell u for our swifties better to use the good old normal spark plugs...guess those iridium type has very concentrated spark compare to normal ones...which cld be reason why not really suitable.

haha... all xcept the last ones were stupid..

first one was a few days after i passed.. reversed in my carpark and didn't see the pillar in the center just reverse all the way in.. then bang.. paint chipped and small dent. lucky dent almost at the center so looks quite ok

Second was i fell aslp on the road... misjudged the slight curve in the road and just went straight.. hit and ran up the kerb then back down.. punctured my tyre and dented my left front rim. had to limp home... lucky was quite near already
end up have to change all 4 rims...

Actually not the first time i fell aslp on the roads, got once i fell aslp before this accident and my right wheel rubbed on the right kerb... wah got a shock... straightaway wake up n alert all the way...

wa lao cannot stand it.... sometimes just soo slpy.. have to keep left and hold the steering wheel tight... when i reach the destination have no memory how i got there... scary... i thought that my car was leaking CO gasses..

Third was reversing at the flying field.. Was distracted by my gf then didn't see the car parked there already.
actually saw the car subconsiously and altered my path, but dunno why last min i look at the side mirror n saw it was clear then changed my path. Reversed right into his backside

Fourth was when i was on the 3rd lane frm the right, reading the map in traffic jam type n suddenly a merc which had been cutting lanes on the right, made its way and suddenly cut into me and jam brake cos a car was approaching frm the left. i expected him be cleared already and released my brake... since my eyes were on the map, didn't even see him when i felt the bang.

think he knew he was in the wrong.. he got out, looked at his car, looked at mine, then drove off... his merc nothing wrong lor.. i got out and see my car, wah big dent in the front. cost $60 for the repair.

Fifth, and the most recent was this renault kangoo kissing my backside... now still in the middle of claiming... long process

hahah... somehow i can't scold ppl... i'll just look stupid

i can't even speak chinese properly let alone use hokkien to scold... when talking to them have to use very simple chinese mixed wif english words so that they can understand me...

scared i use eng they won't understand...

wooo...wad kind of tyres and rims u changed??? the previous rims was stock or yur parents already changed it?

er... previous was original toyota 'sports rims'.. think 5 spoke but thinner kind..

after that incident changed to stock toyota rims again lo... but is the 5 spoke thicker kind.. not that sporty thou...

they not into mods... so long as original parts n can run ok liao..

the only thing i did for that car was to change filter to hurricane stainless steel, iridium plugs, and removed that stock white thingy inside the air intake that was supposed to make the flow more laminar and streamlined i think, but i thought that it was just blocking air.
