mine was a super chao keng....slp slp and juz go few rounds and then go spent rest time do parking while he go smoke...likedat so easy...anyone can be instructor...but was determined to learn and try my best

i started at bbdc too..the instructor quite good...then changed job so stopped for while before proceeding to ssdc

got swiftie bout 2+months ago. lucky she cannot go fast so clean record so far.

when driving my mum's corolla, fuel was the main concern so drove carefully, kept ard 90+ ..

thou there are times when some things piss u off n u take it out on the car...

tin 1.3 shd be quite powerfull....mine 1.0...pick up is horrid

er.. the kick comes in only at 3500-4000rpm
but very slow to rise from 2000+ to that rpm after changing gears.. that's what is eating the time i guess

anyway there's this guy who did a couple of mods at sin ming.. lighten flywheel by drilling holes.. n overhaul engine + slight overbore i think.. changed exhaust to straight flow..
spent a couple of ks on it but to do engine was about 2k...

all in a swift1.0. he scrapped the car le but was trying to sell the engine b4...

the shop mech said his 1.0 more 'kick' than my 1.3...

I understand that ur ride COE is gonna end & it's the 5yrs non-renewable. Therefore, no point in doing up the engine bay unless u gt the xtra $$. Else, u could dip in a half-cut engine & get it TC-ed. U will surprise alot of newer cars on the road & as for rd blocks, as long u clutch in & slowly roll

my FC is ard 12+ to 13... best i had was 14.2, 2 tanks before.. dunno what happened.
but shell v.power is def. better than esso 98

yup v.power definately better... engine knock lesser and lesser vibrations too. runs smoother in a way

i saw the web n they say to go there immediately...

cos i got my bacside kissed by a kangoo today

happened this morning when the roads were still wet frm the rain last night... i was also in a hurry so was quite chiong. I entered the slip rd from clementi av4 to AYE(Keppel) quite fast.. but saw a bus coming from the right so jam brake and managed to stop.. think not that serious since ABS didn't kick in. a few seconds later, i heard a scrreeetch and then bang! think he was in a rush too...

quite lucky.. he was nice n exchanged contacts and stuff but he wanna use insurance instead of outside settle..

now most worried is that the idac time limit expire.. cos maybe they think i tamper with the car n make things worse..
then if cannot go idac then cannot claim...

and have to pay by myself?

think within 3 mths..but best within same month.

why dun u go idac asap and they're veri swift...after which proceed with the documents from idac to ur workshop to do insurance claim/repair.

almost for certain u can claim insurance for this case but think better go thru idac cos the new rule is use some new forms.

i always very kan cheong...kana accident, straight go idac if not, next working day.

then they will claim AIG first... then AIG will claim from the other guy's insurance
