only until after the rain stopped n the track dried alittle, then could feel slightly more grip...
also took video for 2 laps in my hp...
too bad nv take the spinouts... cos that one only in the first 3 rds... vid was taken when the track dried liao
but left my tool box there!

cos if it's drag, it should be increasing very slowly... instead of what he mentioned, something limiting, which i think he's saying the RPM or speed isn't increasing.

the rest of the gears can go up to 5000+ to 6000 rpm, no prob. didn't dare hit the red line thou..
i think once got accidenly shift to 2nd instead of 4th.. hear some sharp noises frm the gearbox... think it went to near red for a split moment.. scary
btw the red line is at 7200.. frm the manual says somethin like fuel cut-off is at 6800rpm
think the previous owner did a piggyback then removed it so now its kinda screwed
this swift shd be able to hit 180 max... someone frm suzuki forum tried b4..

maybe u can send it for check up...
check with the suzuki forum and see if they have any recommended workshop for suzuki...

dunnoe... at PG when cooling the engine down, i poured water frm my bottle onto the radiator to cool it faster... then i see coolant leaking frm the cap...
but the leak is at the bottom where the hose joins the engine there i think.. dunno if only the hose kena or the pump too.. cos the engine cant idle very well... after warm up, idle is 1200 instead of he usual 1500.
i really dun wana say this...but u can't pour water in when ur engine is hot...
it will hurt ur engine...warm water is ok...but normal temp or cold water is a no no...
hope its not the cause of this....didn't anybody told u that???

water pump normally cost less than $50 only...but the labour is quite expensive...
i think they only have those performance hoses...like Samco...
they only have 1 showroom/workshop now...
no overheat... according to my water temp gauge... ard 95deg.. when cruising at highway is at 90deg, and cold days its abt 88deg...
nv put oil temp n pressure thou...

from wat u describe, it shd be leakage at the temp housing....if further down at engine is water pump leakage.mcwell ventures? heard that place quite chop chop... n dun really like lao pok chias.. prefer STis and evos...

water pump got quote from lee sheng was 80 bucks exclude labour.
