I did consider... but i'm priced out for it.. S is my max i can go... I'm a very heavy usage guy 99%city with alot of start stop.. ignition starts about average 30times a day..

Complicated and risky only if buying from PI. There are only 1 or 2 PIs where the whole process could be much smoother and worry free but you will have to pay top dollars for it, negating the benefit of buying the car from PI.

Have you got your COE? 119k for Vezel X your COE rebate should be $60k+. by then you should got your COE now or do you have trade in? I book my Vezel early then my friend but he got his COE early then me. As I think it because my car is going to export (scrap & no value) and my friend car is trade in ( can sell as used car)

If speakers make a difference in buying option, just dekit 2 tweeters from old car or buy 2 tweeters to add on to the G model. That is what i did to my G model. install damage $45 labor.

i can sympathise with you, bro. let me share my case... i ordered the Vezel when there was only the G & S model available; ordered blue by only referring to the manual, as there were zero blue Vezels to refer to in the showroom; ordered in May, and only got my car in Oct after LTA inspection delays and amidst the Volks Auto saga...

initially i thot this 1.5L hybrid is the same as the toyota designs or the old civic hybrid, low powered simple work horses.

Was glad to have found out from a technical guru who owns one that this Vezel Sports Hybrid is by no means a low powered car for 1.5L. �And now i own one hehe.

�

With 150bhp, no official torque numbers published, but with my previous ownership of 2.0L Legacy gt wagon (240bhp/275NM) and JDM Accord CU2 (202bhp/240NM)

�

i put this Vezel Hybrid 1.5L LEB Engine, with electric motor mated with 7speed DCT Tranny at between 230-250NM max combined torque, easily trashing many 2.0L, and even 2.4L cars.

�

So unless buying Cat B means you go for 240bhp and over 250NM of performance at mid RPM range, then totally no comparison.

�

For max torque at low rpm you need european cars. And those that fit or beat those performance numbers, easily $200k and above even with $60+k Cat B COE.

�

Need the new accord hybrid performance to match also hehe, that is an engineering marvel too.

�

btw S model now body market price is approx 55-57k

�

while Hybrid X model market price is approx 57-59k

�

i've known quite a few who have made the jump for a few more K when Cat A & Cat B COE difference was squashed, which it is still now.

Apart from price, most ppl who bought vezel over HRV is due to this. (as well as LED vs Halogen headlight, lol)

Would like to update for my case.

�

Booked on 30th May and collected 6th Aug. Net car price is 56K, think the PI really laughs all the way to the bank. Paid additional 780 (and GST!!!) for Cool&Lite Titan solar film, 580 (and GST!!!) for upgrading to Pioneer 8750.

�

With the premium paid, one should expect better service. But when collection, Iroad V7 was missing and solar film looks quite dirty (seems like a rush job). Will have to drive to the workshop for iroad installation this week.

�

Conclusion: All PI (including�mine who is of the most reputable ones) will try all the ways to maximize their profit. But at least I got to collect my car instead of waiting endlessly

FC: (Pumped 98, Front tyre 210, Back tyre 200; ECON mode/CBTA/Auto star Stop all OFF)

it reaches 20km/l at highway with smooth traffic; 15.5km/l with 70% highway in the morning. Quite satisfactory.

�

Keyless entry and Auto brake hold function are useful. Connecting my Samsung phone to HU using Android auto with normal USB 3.0 cable is quite convenient.

�

Noise level better than my previous jazz, mostly is the engine noise from bottom. Still acceptable. Pickup is a bit slow and considering to off VSA.

�

Overall, Vezel is a nice car to have. Just be careful when choosing PI to deal with.

�

By the way, I ordered roof rack and side step from Taobao. Any bro can recommend good workshop for installation? Thanks in advance!

Oh yes bro. All the stuff i got from taobao. The price is like 20%-30% of the local retail price and about 30-40% cheaper than q10. Q10 get it from the same siurce anyway.

Difficult to get low interests with 80% loan.� Even if u managed to get one, it will probably be a leasing loan, ie car not under ur name.

Option 1 is the standard bank loan.
Options 2/3 sure got other hidden costs n fishy arrangements (maybe ask u go register company or to pay some 'admin costs' to 'beat the system' etc. End of the day, once car is sold to u, they'll wash hands. So any problems with MAS or financial matters u settle urself. Not so simple as it seems in the quotations. Not very transparent. Must read n ask the T&C properly for any quotation given by PI.

i remember seeing it at the Leco Prestige showroom at Turf City in late April 2014; when I asked around, no other dealer had it on available. by that time, there were already 3 orders and many enquiries, according to the SE.

COE below $50k, your Mazda 3 is equal to paper value bro. Buy cheap Sell cheap. That is market. Doesn't make a difference if you buy now and your car fetch you better trade in.

Finally, while looking for a 2nd hand car replacement for my 10 yo car, in Ubi & Turf City thru sgcarmart, ended up booking a X after visiting a few dealers mid range price of 108k, although got a few price ranging from 104k-112k from other dealers.

Amongst all the dealers, P**** SE gave me a very friendly, pleasant and comfortable feelings with a deal I couldn't resist, but delivery in Nov/Dec. Fulfilled and handled all my 3 main concerns, hassle and worries. Offered and accepted my car with higher value than others, getting me a cheap rented car on the day of handing over my 10 yo car next month while waiting for the new X and guaranteed COE.. the next day, sms me that the loan was approved.. another thing is, whatever I asked for, replies were all "no worries, small issues".

That's how I decided no need to check out on other dealers anymore and signed the deal.

You can have lots of answers on how to custom structure a deal specifically for your needs. Ur Pi may not love you to bits, but they would know you are a serious buyer. Not saying to squeeze every single drop out of the lemon. But rather, you still have to negotiate something lah. No prices are dead set one.

Best part is most of them doesn't own a vezel at all and is probably driving some conti cars.

Went to have a look on PI vezel X model,�noticed PI vezel doesn't come with original� Honda 7" head unit and was told it will replace by a pioneer DVD head unit instead. Anybody know�where can�get a vezel with the original Honda 7" head unit as I personally feel that the replacement pioneer head unit really spoiled this beautiful car dashboard aesthetic look.�

1. when using the Idling stop system,�the engine auto starts up after about 30secs even when I don't want it to.

no movement on brake pedal, didn't touch the steering wheel.

by right the engine will re-start only when the brake pedal is released right?

has anyone here encountered the same issue as I have?

2. my vezel comes with the pioneer 1750 head unit.

it appears that there is no single power-off button.

have to press a few times to switch off the audio, then press the display-off button, in order to power-off the head unit completely.

Q2, I'm currently using Pioneer 5550 which i will swap with the 1750 in my new ride. I press & hold the button "SRC" for source. then it will off. Probably you try press & hold "mode"? or the main button thing?

Yes. Based on all the purchases from Vezel brothers so far, all retractable for Vezel will need to drill holes.

Actually there are many type tonneau covers. Some original, some Taobao.

Depending on your intended usage, for eg whether you are going to put alot of things or slightly heavy stuff on top. There are hard ones, soft ones, retractable ones, foldable ones, hard one with lid etc.

Have not received my ride yet, but I will also consider the retractable one. If I don't feel like drilling, I probably go for the foldable ones.

Coz most of the time need to put stroller, therefore hard ones is out for me.
