Alonso is the best passer of long range ball. Till date no one can compare to him.
Mascherano is the best last min tackle DM.. It's definitely hard to match up with them when both their skill look very prominent.

However position wise he is better then Alonso and mascherano. Mascherano made too many last min tackle that result in him having lots of red card

Plus don't forget, when everyone in Bpl don't know how to contend David silva, Lucas did it with ease and even stop their forward.

Now the problem with Lucas, all this excellent attribute are not easily seen.. In Short not eye catching. The reason why Jamie carriagher is always showing him saving liverpool at the last min is not because he is excellent but rather he is always been out play that he had to do last min tackle. To the top defender and manager.. He is lousy, to fans he is fantastic.

There is a reason why scholari rate Lucas High, but he is a practical man. He won't bring a player that is not playing regular football to World Cup.

The draw was a very decent performance. But to compare it to the 5-1 win last season or most of the matches played last season when Pool was simply breathtaking, was work of fertile imagination if not hallucination, IMHO.�

I would say the 4 attackers were very good. Very good movements. All they needed was a mobile striker n im sure they can score more goals.

Many are saying henderson not at top form. He quite unlucky la. 1st...he needed to babysit gerrard. N not that lucas is playing, he being played as a RWB. His excellant performances was as a CM, his natural position. But as a vice capt, he must b the one to sacrifice.

According to what I read, he was one of the top Serbia youth player and after he transferred to Benfica, he blossomed into quite a good player that even Chelsea also want to sign him.

I watched some of the clips and he looks like a player who has pace, usually deploy to play on either wings and sometimes just �behind striker. And when he plays for Serbia he tends to play in a more defensive role on the wing. Should be due to national coach's instructions.�

I feel he is best suited to play just behind the strikers because not only he has pace, he can also dribble at players and he has vision to make that final pass to striker, just like Sterling. Just to add, I see Liverpool stocking up such players as well as Coutinho and Lallana who are very versatile, can play on the wings as well as behind the strikers. So they can rotate and interchange their positions without compromising the attacking shape of the team. Hence the strikers Liverpool need is also strikers who can run on the wing and all over the place in the attacking end.�

juz my tot on the game... generally its one of the better games played dis season... cant really compared to last season though as we lost 2 impt players in suarez n stridge in for dis game... markovic is playing well in my opinion... someone who can dribble n try to beat players... as wat I can c, he is so much better than Henderson who is on the other flank... Finally got time so is 0-4 LFC wins YNWA, our defender scoring goals, Martin sktel give all he got and my greatest respect for him, remember glen Johnson also got bloody head injured and score goal also got my respect. The two gave it all
