That is why football is a team sport. Germany has many stars but they played as a team that why they are the World Cup winner. Hopefully the BR can mold the Reds to play as a team with the right players...

On this weekend's game vs Villa, would hoped that we learnt the lesson in the corresponding fixture last season whereby they ran us nearly to the ground with a combination of speed and power. ( Agbonlahor and Benteke )
That game finished 2 - 2 ( if my memory is correct ).
This time round would certainly hoped we coped better with Lovren and M & M to handle them

Some thoughts so far...

Think city will draw 0-0. Havent been V impressed this season. Probably most of their squad still wc habgover. Surprisingly they didn't strengthen much, but then again not many players of thr calibre that can strengthen their squad on the market

manure started badly but I can see then improving. I mean, how can they not improve. Not As if they can do much worse. At the rate the top 6-7 are fumbling, manure might can up soon ... Starting with qpr

Surprisingly everton is so low down the table, given that they haven't been playing badly at all.

Spurs still need time to gel. But generally improved over last season.

Chelsea is the only team that has really Impressed. Fab and diego costa really added another dimension to their attack. With their traditional strength in def plus a proven goal scorer, their key is to ensure that he plays regularly. They need a long term replacement for terry though

Arsenal has always been lightweight with wanker preferring technical excellence vs athletic powess in contrast to mourinho. Welbeck is an astute purchase. But midfield lacks steel. Khedira would have been perfect .

Pool needs to cope with the loss of LS. But seems like they play better as.a.team without him. Him leaving may not be a bad thing. Sterling and Sturridge gonna be vital. Moreno is an excellent buy. Long term needs a replacement for SG. Dont see anyone in the current lineup that can replace him. And those that can elsewhere is still unlikely to choose anfield over other more illustrious destination

thats y i say. Gerrard replacement shouldnt b a DM...as he wasnt a DM to begin with. He was the engine of the team, n that should now b henderson.
