A lot of our predictions gonna b wrong. Pool cant even score 1 for now even with high tempo. Ludo players matching them strength to strength.

The biggest difference compared to last season is that the front has lost its bite. BR cannot play one lone striker with mario. The thing about Mario is that unlike Suarez, he doesn't run into spaces or create spaces very much for himself; he is basically the kind that need to be feeded directly for him to be effective. Because he is quite static, it is easy for defenders to know where he is and mark him out. Suarez on the other hand is always running and making a nuisance of himself to the defenders.

After Borini was introduced, Mario became a little more effective because Borini is always running and pulling defenders away.� Before that, the entire play was so predictable......keep possession, then send it to either Moreno or Manquilo with support from Sterling and Lallana , then try to find Mario.� All Ludo has to do is kill off the supply lines from Moreno, Sterling or Manquilo, and then mark out Mario.� Ludo was doing this for almost the entire game until Borini came in.

i think i spent quite a bit of time surfing the net than watching the match. that's how unexciting the match was. even though pool was full of running, they hardly manage to conjure anything. the energy was far better than the villa match, but still it was like energy wasted. if by now rodgers cant see the ineffectiveness of a lone striker, then i dunno wat to say. like u mentioned, balo needs support. he did run ard, but not at the pace of suarez n also without the trickiness.�

no doubt from wat i saw, we cant say that he is lazy. he did drop back a lot of times n i tink this is due to the lack of service he received. but once he did that, there's no one else up front to receive the ball. n he is not fast n skillful enough to dribble past defenders. guess rodgers need to buy another striker in jan...

team will really need to gel quickly. as it is, they just seem to not have the idea and creativity to penetrate defense. It is also a very bad sign because now every team going to anfield will have a winning blueprint - follow chelski's park bus and counter strategy, and then can win liao. Villa followed that to perfection. Whoever scared of pool, just do this, they know got hope liao...

1 striker is for additioanal mf to cover gerrard... there seems to be a big difference when borini came on to support Mario.

last season, Suarez was all over, pulling opposition out of positions... allowing others more space and time on the ball.�

this season, we lack that intensity and movement. we dun just miss suarez goals and assists, his intensity on the field and appetite to win is incredible. his movement gives players like coutihno, sturridge even sterling more time on the ball to create something

going for FA cup final sorta scoreline... 2-3 win for us..

Balo is dropping too far back. Don see borini able to do anything up front. As much as pool needs to sort out their defending, they need a new striker badly.
