like I say before. the problem with lucas is he is playing in an unattractive role and his strength is the reason why people don't rate him highly. Able to read game so well that he doesn't need to show any special ability to attract people is like working in the office and manage everything so well that your boss will think you are not working at all.

Honestly, I think he is trying to play mind games.
First, he wants to take the pressure off his team.
His "newly assembled" team has suffered from post world cup fatigue and also having to cope the huge expectation after almost winning the league
Then, he wants to pile the pressure on Chelsea and hopefully force Chelsea to go for a win during the 2nd leg

The problem is liverpool is not going to pay too high salary to any player anymore, hence letting go top earners like gerrard, reina, agger etc. johnson's new contract offer was alleged to be half of what he he used to earn. So when I heard the best man for job saying they tried to sign top players but they don't want to sign for liverpool I know it's because liverpool did not offer top salary to attract these players, other than some of them have preference for London as a city
