Glad there's finally a replacement for Johnson. He's aging.

I doubt Gerrard will perform well this year. Last season took out most of him.

There's many changes to the squad this year, so will probably take awhile to gel. Hopefully our new boys will do well!

Second, to control game n cruise to final whistle.

Then the team must know how to slow down play monkey n control the game while encouraging opponent to burn some energy...
Maintain throttle till first half ends...

Second half, start fast n kill the game....
Then maintain control.... by letting the opponent run till ragged

A win is must. HAck care is 1-0 or 4-0 or AOS.

I prefer AOS, with AOS score of 9-0, 10-0, etc :))

Anyway, with soton squad strength, I really hope Pool can win by more than 3 goals, to start the season with a bang and to silence the critics who said Pool cannot challenge, and we can also tell the world that we can still score w/o LS and we can defend with our new defensive partnership !

My primary target for the team this season at least a top 4 and a 2nd group stage appearance in the champion league.

My take is no one can replace a 30plus goals player, plus assist etc. It took LS two seasons the least to be performing what we have�see in his�last season with us. So those new comers i�have doubt whether�they can perform to the standard like their last season(previous team). Our existing crop of players need to step up a gear unless BR can amend the tactical formation to adapt to our team strength (minus LS).

My take for tomorrow is 3 : 0 to pool. Playing at home and players wanting to prove a point that with LS we still can score goals.
