I don't know what to make of Roger team selection. 6 out field players newly join this season. BR still stated we aren't spurs because we have culture. I put the lost on Roger. He know how villa is going to set up since the draw last year (park bus) and yet after one year of planning he still couldn't come up with a tactic against park bus team.

Totally agreed. �And his tactics seems to be wrong. �Obviously Coutinho is not playing well and why there was no focal point of attack. �At one point, Liverpool were attacking and there was nobody attacking the centre....all were on the flanks. �I would had played Lambert and Mario upfront with Lazor behind them

I think our defence looks settle. Need more time to gel. Prefer the Sakho Lovren pairing anytime over Botak Lovren. The only thing is that Villa started with all guns blazing and our midfielders are left wanting. Not enough protection and too many misplaced passes from Coutinho who seems to be a disappointment this season. With Lallana and Coutinho, Liverpool looks a little lightweight in midfield to protect the defence.

my opinion is not because LS leave. but rather.. opponent already know that to win Liverpool.. just need to park bus and wait for counter attack... that's how Chelsea win an in form Liverpool near the end of last season.

Me think the team is so hyped up about tonight's CL that they put brakes on the match against Aston Villa.

That said, at lot of first time starters in the match, so I would say, the team did ok even thought they lost narrowly. Again, BR is clueless against team who defend deep and has become his Achilles heel. He needs to sort it out how to break down teams who defend very deep.�
