Apparently not getting good reviews...
Think the reviewers missed out something when comparing to vezel...the eng itself is different. But i do agree if i were to choose, i would choose qq over hrv. But definitely vezel over q in terms of eng responsiveness and price. If hrv is priced below vezel i believe the reviews may be different. If one is to fork out 130k..one would expect 130k quality. Imho hrv isnt worth 130k. So what if omv is higher and cevs rebate is lesser? At the end of tens yrs the parf is probably just about 3-4k more than vezel but need to pay 20k more now...at 130k..i hv other options than hrv.

Remember someone ever ask how to keep the HU on when off the engine. Can do so by putting the gear lever to neutral instead of park position before switching off the engine. A orange warning icon will appear on the instrument panel accompany with beep sound when you do this. It will goes off once the gear lever is put to park.
To restart the engine just depress the brake paddle and press the start button.
To switch turn off the HU, you have to press the start engine switch twice to turn off the HU.
Very tempting to buy this ride ! Still saving for my down payment, haha. Hopefully by next year COE will drop !�

Heard there a recall for hybrid vezel on the gearbox last year, so getting hybrid from PI might be a issue to consider. not sure those onshore is affected with it.

Oh yes there were a couple recalls for hybrids. there is a link to check for affected vehicles.

New Vezel hybrid need not worry for if there is recall on that batch as LTA would not allow it to be registered unless it has already been fixed and tagged.

Anyone comparing Vezel with Fit Shuttle 1.6L petrol version ? Wonder if they are the same engine .. Vezel is more sporting Suv and Shuttle is space wagon for those whom wants space for luggage etc... Might be tough if price are same thereabouts... :-)

TBH Vezel has a good enough boot space also.. Fit shuttle of cus is bigger due to being a space wagon

His PIs called to inform that his vezel shipment frm Japan has been delayed without letting him know the new date. As for my case, I will know my fate on 17 June.When you see those who bought hrv u would know why...no offence but its prob those who do not know the difference or do not trust PI...

Same sentiments, unless u get more features, premium grade. Personally I would have chosen Qashqai, at ~125K, made in UK, frm authorized dealer. It's more value for money (caveat, if only I could fork out 125K)
In any case, the design of the Vezel is awesome!

Why i never even consider QQ was becus of TCM... my colleague bought a sylphy last year.. waited 6mths for the car even thou the stock was ready but the SE keep under bidding the COE and couldn't get the COE which delayed for almost 6mths..
lucky he drove an Altis and already locked in the price.. He was happy once he got the Syl.. but shortlived in less den a year, car broke down, battery died twice (change new battery 2 times no warranty from TCM) FC drop abit... after i told him i considerig Vezel, he say wanna sell and join me also.. haha

Got pro and cons for each one and must take up loan at least 50K or 60% of the loan from them directly for full 5yrs. If not from them, extra 2K++ - 4K penalty, this one put me off.

make sure no hidden charges n dun let PI gamble too much on ur coe, you can stand to lose 10k and above while in the beginning trying to look for few k lower price, if you duno wat you r signing. seen so many frendly fellows kena e trap..but so far with high coe, lucky some who may potentially rat out their seller got their coe recently. the calm n quiet guys lugi.

Its always good to check with them. They always change different models of HU for different promotions. When they advertised 109k no top ups, i went to check out. Got to add no loan fee, got to add on $XXX for pioneer 8750bt HU, gotta add $XXX for GPS n bluetooth module bla bla bla. End up added almost 10k with of top ups for the so called no top up. So the "no top up" is subjected to terms and conditions. Gotta read properly. End up bought from different PI.

When u bargain for anything with them, make sure it is written explicitly on the SA. Eg, Pioneer HU must state model and wad modules of add on they have. Leather if it is PU or genuine leather, or half genuine on the front and half PU on the back etc.

3) "Guaranteed COE without top up" exact words
4) Rebate at what $ level.
5) Number of bids..... (not so important if you already corner the PI with delivery date & guaranteed COE w/o top up)

NO COE rebate is a big no. What if COE drop by 10K? Please do look around and compare.

Don't care what the sales fellow tell you.....believe what they write on the sales agreement.

1) Delivery date. If not.....then how?

I would only agree to point no. 5, if and only if point 4 is well taken care of. Rebate should not stray too far away from last closing COE price. At MOST 5k, normal is 2-3k below last closing.

Apparently not getting good reviews...
Despite VEZEL lower OMV than HRV, I would go for VEZEL for these reasons :
- VEZEL costs $20K lower than HRV.
- VEZEL has DOHC engine. HRV has SOHC engine.
- VEZEL has 11 bhp and 10 Nm torque advantage over HRV.

Just wondering why kah motor bring in SOHC spec? For Honda, DOHC and SOHC big difference. Really no point pay additional 20k yet you get a less powerful engine.
HRV is assembled in Thailand, where the locally sourced Thai parts ( except engine and gearbox) are supposed to be cheaper, but the savings are not passed on to the consumer.
Make no sense for Thai product to cost more than a Japan product.
Hi guys, just hope u understand, KM is only a company, basically price points and what they can sell, bring in, distribute ultimately depends on what Honda Japan approves. Also they have 2 major manufacturing plants in Indo and Thai. no point if they have such manufacturing plants and they dun sell vehicles made there.. alot of things way beyond our understanding and control.

Of cus it would be pleasing for us to get the Vezel model from KM, but consider the facts, PIs are a smaller firm, smaller profit margin, smaller headcount. ADs have staffs all over asia, SEA, etc. headcount higher, profit margin definitely need to be higher...

That is a good offer as i understand for PI usually there will be a penalty of $2k to 4k for not taking the loan.

I think have to depend on your PI. My PI allows selection as long i top up the difference. I think this shouldnt be a prob as i know what the standard model they r offering..

I dun mean speculating n betting on COE to go up or down, but buy a put option as well as a call opyion on ur car value to protect urself so u can comfortably withoutuch worries enjoy ur alredy long wait for e car
