harrier 20k above my hybrid price wor, too chor for me. And doesn't drive as well as sports hybrid, i rate high for performance of car. Nevertheless harrier is also a great JDM car!

Hi Rational bro, not yet... still holding on... that's the advantage of being old, we old guys have all the patience in the world... My current ride only expires next year, still hoping current COE will drop further so i'll have more spare budget to "zing"... thinking paint protection (if can't get for free) and rim upsize...

i am not driving vezel, yet, but just to share my opinion: Alpine is my preferred HU. my current drive do not have another battery, but i am advise by my installer to keep the engine running when music is playing. i.e do not switch off engine while waiting to pick someone up. Alternatively, my processor monitors the voltage, so i make sure voltage is at least at 12.3V if i off my engine.

my turn for a question since I.C.E is brought up, the A-bridge of Vezel has airbags inside, right? so how to drill holes to fit mount for tweeters? this might be a deal breaker if it is not possible to install tweeters.. heh. the big boot space is already a big plus cause it can fit my pram after installing my subwoofer.

Ya man I went to at least 3PI all said X model come with it. Call HL today n the SE said as what they told you. Really funny logic..after u book n then if shipment comes with audio u get lor if no then no choice..

My understanding is that it is an optional item that the PI will order along with the car. My PI orders it for all their x models.

Ray from hup long is in this forum. You can ask him whether audio control have or not. By right all Pi should know because they are the one indent the vehicles

Hi Stone78 , the issue here with PI or SE is that there is no uniform answer. Each will said their own version or tricks . Reason being price offer by different PI is not same . Some have free camera, free GPS , Free servicing it all depend how much you buy from the PI. SE will said to their advantage only. maybe if they bring in those without audio their costs cheaper so they sell lower Compare to other PI. But they will said it doesn't come with it only local fitted . If I not wrong S model which is lower version then don't have audio.(correct me if 1 wrong)

I dont own a Vezel (yet). Good question with airbag. If front A-pillar is not possible to hold a tweeter dome holders, may need to mount on dashboard or side mirror cover, u think possible ?

so far the honest ones i met say it does not come pre-installed w e car. But it is sold as standard inclusion w nothing to brag abt too.

Bro my current ride, initially u had paint protection done.but I felt it doesn't help much. Constant polish of vehicle would help.

agree bro..for a start personally i wud avoid G altogether becos we cant quantity safety precautions. 6 airbags is a must for me..or more if possible

Those have roach infection, try this. super effective to lure and stick the buggers. I deploy a few traps around my car boot. After 2 weeks, i manage to trap over 20 mini cockroaches.�

i have not actually seen setups that are mounted on dashboard yet, not sure what is underneath and whether it is advisable to drill dashboard or not.

However i really am keen to PM & find a day over kopi can share experiences in investments & cars as well to learn from each other, becos technology & money mgt is an ever-learning thing as our environment changes. Xjapan bro, �any interest in getting Hybrid? hehe. Yday just went to visit a friend at his shop for a chillax catch up, drive ard the block and short test drive round the factory estate. If you wanna test the petrol cvt version, i'm not sure if cartimes still available, can ask other bros feedback. For me i tested last week at swift garage, super free play test drive but still within the confines of the building compound. I didn't think that it got no feel leh, rather to me it felt so eager to move, the initial step and move off was like "wow! �impressive!" Cos mine hybrid, initial is always electric motor mode, so the sensitivity of the fly-by-wire pedal may be reduced. But when the initial torque comes in, it is way higher than petrol version thanks to the eletric motor.

I called up many stockists to find this Honda LEO, they have no idea what it is haha..anyone have kangtao? If group buy or bulk buy can have qty discount that is competitive enough, i dun mind invest in a few cartons myself.

If you wanna test the petrol cvt version, i'm not sure if cartimes still available, can ask other bros feedback. For me i tested last week at swift garage, super free play test drive but still within the confines of the building compound. I didn't think that it got no feel leh, rather to me it felt so eager to move, the initial step and move off was like "wow! �impressive!" Cos mine hybrid, initial is always electric motor mode, so the sensitivity of the fly-by-wire pedal may be reduced. But when the initial torque comes in, it is way higher than petrol version thanks to the eletric motor.

I called up many stockists to find this Honda LEO, they have no idea what it is haha..anyone have kangtao? If group buy or bulk buy can have qty discount that is competitive enough, i dun mind invest in a few cartons myself.

I need help n advise from you guys.
I just collected my vezel on sat.
Yesterday while driving I start to hear some sound near to right side of my steering wheel area.
Can't really describe wats the sound. It lasted for abt 5mins n it's gone.
Today it came by again n it lasted longer, really dunno wats going on? Anybody encounter tat?
Attach is the recorded video of the sound I mention.
Hope u guys can help me n advise wats the cause of the reason.

Not really bro, coz Pi n AD can place numerous bids for their customers depending on their individual contract. and also last min if the customer wants to revise a higher bid, they will submit. thats y got soo many bids. mostly AD will push up the COE ( based on wat i heard. nothing confirm) coz they got a huge buffer to play with than PIs.

I have been driving my Vezel for about 1 month, now it is about 2k plus mileage. I have done my engine oil changing on the first 1k mileage, they never change the gear box oil. The technician told me that i only need to change it at 10k, which i think it is too long. And the technician said the new gear box oil not available yet. Would appreciate anyone can share their new Vezel maintenance here, especially gear box oil changing. Thanks.

Ok now back to cars....I would like to ask, has anyone successfully without much obstacles by the insurance company, transferred their 50% NCD to another family member? or was transferred to ownself by family member? I am in such a regretful stage right now i wanna slap myself for not researching enough on this. And was told by my PI & AD SE friends that is no problem at all. Big mistake i dun wanna make a 2nd time.

Relax la. Deposit are usually give before they place order for car. Some PI dont ask for deposit though, so it up to individual PI.

Very not safe as you are no more the legal owner of the car (correct me if I'm wrong). What happen if the deal didn't fall through at the end?

As for the renewal of rd tax and insurance it should come from the PI.

So I trust whatever he quoted me. He gave me many things as well so I do not worry that much. current drive is under my brother's name, as per insurance. no NCD. assuming no claims, the upcoming renewal should be 5%, right? so instead of renewing, i buy a new car, can this 5% be transferred to my name instead?

Hi everybody i m new here.
I need help n advise from you guys.
I just collected my vezel on sat.
Yesterday while driving I start to hear some sound near to right side of my steering wheel area.
Can't really describe wats the sound. It lasted for abt 5mins n it's gone.
Today it came by again n it lasted longer, really dunno wats going on? Anybody encounter tat?

i thot vezel was alredy sold in japan since 4th qtr 2013,mostly hybrid versions. By now over 100,000units sold within japan alone

another silly question hoping bros & sis can help...

does switching off the HU and aircon before engine off help prolong battery life? i have always done that out of habit, not knowing if this practice serves any purpose. i've sat in friends cars and some do not practice this.

thanks for sharing, i bought another brand, specially to catch lizards, 1 packet 2 pieces, basically a very sticky piece of paper to position in my kitchen. the problem is clearing it. i can see lizards get stuck there, but very hard to throw it away.

i have not actually seen setups that are mounted on dashboard yet, not sure what is underneath and whether it is advisable to drill dashboard or not.

pardon me, but i cannot quite visualise where is the side mirror cover you are referring to. side mirror not outside the car meh? :x

once again my opinion, i think it is not optimal to mount on dashboard. but i might ask my regular installer if he has done it before.

update on the A-pillar tweeter installation, i asked 1 audio installer in SG and he informed me even with the ABS, they can install it. through how much modification, any compromise of safety or not i am not sure. i think that 1 need to go down and ask, better if already with the car to be installed.�

I didn't know NCD is transferable.

How about my scenario:

current drive is under my brother's name, as per insurance. no NCD. assuming no claims, the upcoming renewal should be 5%, right? so instead of renewing, i buy a new car, can this 5% be transferred to my name instead?
