is there any particular reasons?

Also, anyone had any encounter with m9 automobile at ubi megamart?? They are selling a gd 7k cheaper than hup long.

Bro, I used to hunt for the cheapest deal in town when I "bought" my Vezel back then.

Volks was selling $8K cheaper as compared to market. Did lots of research on the company and found out that there were at least 15 people booked their Vezel, Harrier, Mercedes and even Porsche with them. Volk's showroom also had a Merc, Bently, Porsche, Harrier, Vezel in display. That give me the confident and went ahead to book the car and paid the deposit.

End up its a freaking scam ...

I'm not saying that all PI are out to scam, and I also believe there are new PI setup to do long term biz.

If you are worried, get from those PI that had good track record and delivery history. Best is to have ready stock for immediate delivery.

�

Also, take all words from car salesman with alot of salt, track record speak louder than words.

If a deal is too good to �be true ... it is... paid a heavy price for this lesson.

Booked mine from LECO. I went for their track record in the biz (about 35yrs). Hence, this is definitely not a fly-by-night setup. Secondly, I am trading in my car. Since LECO has a used car division, I am comfortable that they will not back out of an agreed trade-in price that I had negotiated. Lastly, it gives 5yrs/100,000km warranty (whichever comes first), and 5 yrs labour free service at their workshops. I got my COE in the first bid. According to my SE, LECO's policy is to release the car as soon as the deal is sealed with the buyer.

As many bro here has advise, buying from a non establish PI has it's risk. Also if u wish to get yr ride before CNY, I think u need to pay a premium as most PI do not carry stock. LTA inspection will alri tk a month.

Just curious, is it so important to be able to get the car before cny? I see a lot of ad/pi offering guarantee coe and can get the car before cny with the slogan "booked now and get the car in time for cny"
How can the dealer so confident with before cny delivery do they expect the coe to go down or at least maintain at the current level?

It would be good if you can find a way to protect your deposit. I don't know how though.

The money is locked down for safe keeping and only be released when they deliver.

I got same problem with my old car and i use ants baits. I applied abit here and there where they are usually found and after a few days don't see them anymore.

Greenwood, m9 is offering 109k+ while hup long is 7k more for G model which is similar to sg vehicles. How is sg vehicles? Sorry I'm not familiar with dealer at that area.

Hi, visited SG Vechicle. Price quoted is non guarantee COE. They capped it at 60k and u need to top up at the COE diff. You can opp for guarantee COE , price will be abt 9k more. Hope this info helps.

I experience 3x, going too close & CTBA activated, engine cut off and car roll backwards. Quickly step on brake, hold for a while before moving again.

I believe when it activates you can see�CTBA indicator blinking during the first beep.

So true. Such Volks saga only helped those reputable PI upped their price. I believe we can still get a good bargain and trusted deal from other reputable PIs like friends or from those PIs whom we had bought cars regularly from.

Applause to you on sharing your thoughts. Buying from PI can be so challenging, that is the only reason why I am holding back on the Vezel and waiting for Kah to bring in their version before deciding.

the worst are those down slope ones. Had one time the CTBA kicked it so suddenly that i heard a cracking sound but thk God it was the brake reacting too strong

i learnt to slow down much more and not tap brake so much

I didn't really consider the two cars that you mentioned bro. I drove a RX8 for 3 years and I decided to change the car based on the category or classification because I didn't ownjust looking�a SUV before. :-)

Like I say, you have more or less decided and fixated on an SUV or crossover so be it. But if�someone�is just looking for a Cat A day to day there are many more choices around and Vezel happens to fall into this category, plus it has the SUV look to boost it sales.

Bro the lower kg/bhp is better this I understand but to achieve this lower ratio does it mean it has to sacrifice something e.g thinner sheet of metal (lower safety), no spare tires, etc....

I got same problem with my old car and i use ants baits. I applied abit here and there where they are usually found and after a few days don't see them anymore.
If they can't deliver on time how? CNY come suck thumb as can't do anything to them.

I have being using super yellow from Autobac or 3500K HID for my fog light since 2004. Changed to HID due to cheaper buy from Alibaba. $40 buck for HID I find quite reasonable(DIY). Yellow is good for fog or rainy condition. White I can't see if heavy rain and it doesn't focus..... No offence too

G model is warm light (yellow)

X Model is Led with HID (High-intensity discharge lamp) / Xenon Light) A eye ball shape

�

Warm light usually you have to adjust the height of the headlight (0,1,2,3) where HID / xenon usually is auto. Last time most of the HID comes 4300K. Now it becomes whiter which I guess it in between 6000-7000K. The lower the Degrees Kelvin (K) more yellow, the higher the brighter and it can become PINK for 12000K. Original HID won't �blind the front car (try driving your HID and face the wall at night, you will see a Z shape) and aftermarket HID will blind the front driver.�

If you smoke try blowing the smoke in both White & Yellow lights. You will know why yellow is better for foggy and rainy day. I tried white fog light driving down Genting at night and I can't see anything at all.

�

White actually shine very far but yellow only focus near. Best if you have both colours and it won't go wrong.

As for cars now, most buyers would prefer white light with led day light. It all started from GTR & Audi..... This how the story start......�

when u say 6 speakers, it just means the front door cum dash is a component type - 2 tweeters + 2 mids = 4 spkrs. rear speakers are coaxials & although the tweeters r together with mids, they r still considered 2 spkrs at rear doors.

Looking at volks, I asked for chassis number but have been delaying telling me boss on leave. I have also asked for details but responses are slow. Are these signs indicating rouge trader? The COE bidding is always a bit nerve wracking with PIs in my opinion. Mine was guaranteed delivery package and it took them 2 months before they put in the bid and secured it. I think it costs them some admin fees to bid and revise and therefore they will not actually place a bid until they want to secure it. My guess only.

The rest sounds fishy. Hope you get your car soon.. Maybe you can share your PI and if other bros have bought and collected from the same company they may be able to put your mind at ease :)

Hi bro, I got mine done at ceramic pro, chosen the advance package that cost 1200+. The workshop is in yishun. You can search their forum in MCF. They have very good feedback. If u do before 1 month after collecting yr car, it is lifetime warranty, but there is a catch that u need to go back for check/maintenance after every year. This will cost about 100. I think there is a couple of bro here also did this package.

So far so good. Easy to clean, wash and dry. This is my first time using this so I can't say how reliable
this is. They also include rim protection/coating and glass coating (rain water easily drain off) in the package. The one thing is dun like is the glass coating. If light rain/less water, the wiper will sometimes
jerk (not smooth) when swiping.

Maybe u can ask bro Indulge, he is trying PPR that cost 400+ & can last 5 years.

Yest after i parked my car with the engine still on... I walk out to check out my head lights... My wife said the dashboard says something like no key...
I do not know if the car can still drive a certain distance?
