Bro ... It's not only for vehicle PI but for most items that need to be black and white. Recently my wife wanted ti buy brompton bike also same. Verbally say got extra freebies but when go back to pay deposit, say dun have.

Bro, this is normal. What u saw in showroom should be a G model, while your colleague is a X model. X model does have top/bottom half. The top half act as a normal door/side mirror. The bottom half has a smaller mirror that reflex the front passenger tyre area so to let you see if you are too near a curb or any obstacle.

Bro, if u recall, I also install this, purchase locally, not vezel. I took it out after 1 week.
It can secure properly with metal clips. By default, the brake pedal is normally about 5mm higher than the accelerator pedal. Problem was the brake pad was about 5-8 mm thicker than the accelerator pad, thus making the different level even more.
So every time when I move my foot from accelerator to brake, I need to lift up my foot or will knock brake pad. I did not feel comfortable doing this. My BIL also install this and took him 1 week to get use to the different height.

hmm,in my case i really have to say kudos to my PI for settling everything so fast. i'm not sure if others go to him,can he do the same thing,not easy. On hindsight,everything also kinda felt like it juuust nice fell into place for us.
Ideally i wanted to consign and "confirmed" sold the ex-car b4 i committ to the new one,downside is,no dealer is gona hold the vehicle indefinitely on few k deposit becos we never know when the ex-car will sell. To give some due respect to my PI i shall share only partially the "unique" situation we were in. In fact, i treat them as friends,so respect is still a must. Any interested parties wanna find out more can PM me.
In my case,only the green vezel hybrid was available for immediate registration which naturally commanded a higher price compared to 2,4 or even 6bids wait. in fact i was also calling ard all major PIs to enquire abt in stock hybrid. The next dealer who had in stock was Swift garage which if Autolink did not sweeten the deal at the last minute after negotiating with me for 2plus hrs,i might have gone to Swift instead. However Swift's unit was white,and i didn't want white albeit the juicy deal he offered,the juicy deal is still on though,if anyone wants to view the hybrid i have their contact (if the price was 3-4k lower then however, i wud have gotten the white without much thought.)
So in view of the above background info, chronologically, on 17th Jan i committed to the consignment and continued to drive the ex-car. On 20th,an offer came and i met potential buyer on 21st for viewing and test drive. He was still deliberating. On 22nd a second buyer made the same gd offer(can still be better),23rd sent ex-car for viewing and received verbal confirmation. Hence that night headed down to showroom to nego on The Little Green Monster, deal sweetened on the last min after closing hrs with a cherry on top,paid small deposit to seal the T&C discussed with some black and white done.
So for 1 week from 24th to 31st by right i had no ex-car to drive,my loan for vezel and buyer's loan for my ex-car were processed almost simultaneously. During the loan application lead time,i still used the car. Handed it over on 28th after work, 3 days no car, while all the installation,leatherization, registration and pressurization was taking place. 31st Jan, all was ready and my wife & I took delivery of The Little Green Monster.
wow..long story,but i hope the details shared can help potential buyers. dealers happy also as it lessens their risks by not personally buying in ur trade-in car.
Many people commented that they think the hassle is not worth. Only think, never confirm. It's subjective really. I enjoyed 6k higher trade in offer which to me, displayed true honesty, and 10k higher than trade in consignment price which was affected in the end,total of 16k. That was worth my hassle. Say i really have to wait 2-3mths,i would have gotten 4-5k off the immediate registration deal on the vezel, but an uncertain COE value. Means potential 21k savings to find transport for 2-3mths...still worth it for me...shiokness!
Anyone in similar situation may wanna contemplate the above-mentioned.
Disclaimer: i have no intention of doing any marketing, nor have any financial dealings with my PI. If anyone wanna choose them becos of my shared information,pls tell me,then i better ask for some after-sales complimentary free gifts haha...i still need some accessories at really good price. And i need a very good price for my wife's future car. My hope is for fellow buyers to enjoy better and bettrr deals as competition stiffens and buyers get more affluent. Also,as fellow human beings with families to feed, i also hope honest dealers to have good business from high turnover,not just margins,as they continue to bring value added services to the industry while end users like ua benefit!!

Went to Hup Long to take a look at the Vezel X and was quoted $115k with delivery in 1 month time. First time buying a new car. Current ride is a 2nd hand car. The price is it negotiable, or can only negotiate on the accessories? The SE was saying they expect the price to rise as Japan export tax going to rise soon.

That mirror is like a blind-spot checking mirror, probably a traffic regulation in Japan. My ex-ride, Rav 4, has it and the PI told be that in Japan, if vehicle is above certain height, must have that small mirror....it is for you to look out for things (child, cats etc) that cannot see from driver side...

Totally agree, these bitumen sheets are nothing more then damping sheets which just changes the natural frequency of the panel it is adhered upon. It damps not absorbs :)

There are some that have poorer quality adhesives that does not withstand temperatures when parked in the open and will begin to decouple from the panels wrecking havoc on your glass panel and power window mechanical mechanisms....

Yes. The peeling off actually happened to me. It smeared on my window when i wind it down and left steaks that were a nightmare to clean. In the end I removed the door panel myself and took off all the sheets in that door.
After that experience i'm never going to do third party sound proofing anymore. I also realised a lot of the sound come in through the windows too so difficult to stop.

essentially it may not necessarily be ur car also,other buyers who allowed themselves to be chopped and paid more money may get theirs 1st. You can request for chassis number and mayb other manufacture documents. And yes,only PI has the answer

I think main reason to them is pricing as they are generally 5k to 10k lower than other PIs.
2ndly, i did personally went down and check with the sales on the gifts, 3 yra warranty etc. Seems all items provide are the same by other PIs too.
3rdly, this is only thing make me think twice, which is they provide 4 bids guarentee COE (with top ups). But my though is, if their price are lowest even if the next 4 bids COE goes up for exp $5k. It kind of like same with other PIs. But if COE goes down, they will rebate dollar to dollar.
Just my thoughts.

The bro above said he heard $50k by mid 2015. That's like 12k drop in 3-4mths. Surely even if you have an existing car, its price won't plunge by that much eh? All the more so for people with a 8-10yrs old car where current trade in price is considered pretty close to scrap value. Just a thought.

Personally, I think your point 3 makes a lot of sense to me. Find it hard to disagree with you especially when we also know supply of COE is increasing at least for the time being. Only the demand variable is unknown but if you have factor in a 5k buffer, I think can't lose. 2c. I may be wrong.

u should check out qq thread; one �bro posted his black ride w interior n new rims - very chio if u ask me. i oso think the doors close better than vezel's. only set back could b the headroom n legroom at rear.

hmm,in my case i really have to say kudos to my PI for settling everything so fast. i'm not sure if others go to him,can he do the same thing,not easy. On hindsight,everything also kinda felt like it juuust nice fell into place for us.
Ideally i wanted to consign and "confirmed" sold the ex-car b4 i committ to the new one,downside is,no dealer is gona hold the vehicle indefinitely on few k deposit becos we never know when the ex-car will sell. To give some due respect to my PI i shall share only partially the "unique" situation we were in. In fact, i treat them as friends,so respect is still a must. Any interested parties wanna find out more can

In my case,only the green vezel hybrid was available for immediate registration which naturally commanded a higher price compared to 2,4 or even 6bids wait. in fact i was also calling ard all major PIs to enquire abt in stock hybrid. The next dealer who had in stock was Swift garage which if Autolink did not sweeten the deal at the last minute after negotiating with me for 2plus hrs,i might have gone to Swift instead. However Swift's unit was white,and i didn't want white albeit the juicy deal he offered,the juicy deal is still on though,if anyone wants to view the hybrid i have their contact (if the price was 3-4k
lower then however, i wud have gotten the white without much thought.)
So in view of the above background info, chronologically, on 17th Jan i committed to the consignment and continued to drive the ex-car. On 20th,an offer came and i met potential buyer on 21st for viewing and test drive. He was still deliberating. On 22nd a second buyer made the same gd offer(can still be better),23rd sent ex-car for viewing and received verbal confirmation. Hence that night headed down to showroom to nego on The Little Green Monster, deal sweetened on the last min after closing hrs with a cherry on top,paid small deposit to seal the T&C discussed with some black and white done.
So for 1 week from 24th to 31st by right i had no ex-car to drive,my loan for vezel and buyer's loan for my ex-car were processed almost simultaneously. During the loan application lead time,i still used the car. Handed it over on 28th after work, 3 days no car, while all the installation,leatherization, registration and pressurization was taking place. 31st Jan, all was ready and my wife & I took delivery of The Little Green Monster.
wow..long story,but i hope the details shared can help potential buyers. dealers happy also as it lessens their risks by not personally buying in ur trade-in car.
Many people commented that they think the hassle is not worth. Only think, never confirm. It's subjective really. I enjoyed 6k higher trade in offer which to me, displayed true honesty, and 10k higher than trade in consignment price which was affected in the end,total of 16k. That was worth my hassle. Say i really have to wait 2-3mths,i would have gotten 4-5k off the immediate registration deal on the
vezel, but an uncertain COE value. Means potential 21k savings to find transport for 2-3mths...still worth it for me...shiokness!
Anyone in similar situation may wanna contemplate the above-mentioned.

Hmmm, true to some sense bro. I am not a dealer but really hard to say. Prob may not drop 1:1 as much for trading in but may be close depending on the age of the trade in car? If it is those 3-4 yrs left car then might?

I test drove the QQ 2L last year before jumping into vezel. If the 1.2T were available then, it might be a different story. Agreed with you on your points as my previous 3 cars were from TC. Quiet engine and good sound insulations. However on QQ, I have mentioned before that the back seat is too up-right and make you sit straight up. My wife did not feel comfortable during the test drive. Also vezel feels more power, once step hard on accelerator, I can feel vezel moving fast forward. In QQ, the acceleration is smoother and thus you would not feel "push" forward.
So both has it's advantage. Can someone confirm the max speed for QQ 1.2T? I recall reading somewhere that it is 144 km/h. I think this is too low and that I am wrong.
BTW it's fitted with full Modulo kits with the radiator grill...as for the DRL no worries you can off and on switch .

Hi guys, i finally went down to have a view on vezel x model.. Went to hup long and being quote 116.8k.. No free gift...zzz gurantee car delivery in 1 months time... I was quite interested actually but need advice from u guys..
Based on current COE... Price for X model should be ard $112k with all freebies.
Hmmm, true to some sense bro. I am not a dealer but really hard to say. Prob may not drop 1:1 as much for trading in but may be close depending on the age of the trade in car? If it is those 3-4 yrs left car then might?
i quoted this cos it was most convenient hehe. would like to ask everyone and anyone who would like to share their opinions.
when one mentions they received a good trade in price,usually what comparisons would they use?
for me i wud try to determine existing market price by finding highly similar 2nd hand cars of same age and aimilar paper value,then minus 7-8k to determine gd trade in price. That's abt the market gross profit margin for dealers to earn after trading in and selling it to next buyer. sometimes even 10-12k depending on type n gradr of car.
i am concerned for uninformed buyers of new cars who accept trade-in of their old cars without doing some basic homework that takes less dan half hr. personally witnessed pple trade in or sell below paper value. can u imagine the level of ignorance and how despicable the dealers that buy e car can be?

This is a special price from my brother side as this sets they bring in for a body kit shop as moulding set....BTW for all vezel owner..I had my vezel since November 2014 ...and have order things from taobao..be careful of the dashboard item cause theirs is in left hand drive so most dashboard item can not fix ..They have not done the right hand item ..I have bought some of the dash item , but sad to say I have to bring back to them ...But no issue cause i go up Shenzhen every month so it's ok ...my God brother(PRC)is working for me in shenzhen..so its easy to purchase ..I can help you guys also if you do group purchase cause I have my own forwarder....Bro ,

Concur totally bro. Lol. 7-8k is a gd gauge and usually by the time you trade in 1 to 1, which deps on your bids, the margin would already be down to 5k thereabts given current depreciation.
