Hoping to get 1 of these rims if they are not too exp...
wow, very nice. Don't think it is going to be cheap.
Just selected my seat colour - 2 tones colour with light brown in the middle of the seat and the rest in black. Door's side panel also light brown. As for thread, we were not sure whether to choose black or red. In the end, left it to the leather seat person to decide.

Although car is here, according to my SE Shawn, it is almost impossible to collect car by end of year due to the long Q of the inspection. However, I am satisfied to see that my car comes withvolume control button on the steering wheel.

Like all brothers here, waiting patiently to collect my car.

Well, to each his own I guess... Mazda has made lots of improvements especially to its interior - you only have to look at the new Mazda 3 to see it. Very continental feel and also very refined.

Honda always known for efficiency and refined engines, though sound insulation is sometimes lacking. Based on the reviews of the bros here, the Vezel seems to be the same.

Hard to make a call since I have not sat in a CX-3 (have you, Alansignature?), but since I've already ordered the Vezel, I vote for the Vezel... HAHA

Hi Bro Dino & wkloh,

Thanks for the reply. I peeped into the car and saw it has only the cruise control button on the steering wheel. If it is an S model, shouldn't it come with the volume control on the left of the steering wheel?

btw, did you all choose any rims? If you did,do you mind to attach a photo of it? Thanks in advance.
I saw all the cars (X,S model) parked at my PI have volume control on the steering wheel.. I asked the boss, he said he specified to his Japan importer to have this.. My car also has it.. It will be nice to have I think, the steering wheel looks more complete..
Btw, I upgraded my Pioneer HU to 5750 (new model).. The audio shop guy recommends it and said the function is almost good as 8650 flagship model.. Dun know how true it is.. Also upgrade the front speaker to Hertz HSK165..

For those who are looking at Vezel accessories, you may want to wait for a while more. SE told me Thailand is launching the HRV. As such, this is one avenue to get cheaper aaccessories as compare to Japan.

clap clap clap...
Hi bro, I also intended to change my rim. Can you put up a photo of yours and also what is the size. Thanks a lot in advance.

I have been driving my ride for 1 week, 2 days now and getting more in love with vezel. I have re-pump the tyre air pressure to 190 and 220 on rear and front. It is much more quieter now and more comfortable ride. My milage is about 510 km and will be up for 1st servicing soon at appointed PI workshop.

We change our rim from 16" to 17". We were given free 16" rim to choose from our PI and top-up if we upgrade to 17". The PI appointed tyre workshop is Kim Hoe & Co Pte Ltd (UBI). We went there to look for Alex. He took us to view the RM rims (Made inTaiwan) at Cheng An Da Pte Ltd (Kaki Bukit). Thereare many, many rims that you can choose here. They can also advise you what type of rims suitable for vezel as they have sold quite a few already to vezel owners. For our tyre we change from 215/60 16 to 215/55 17 (Pirelli). Both vendors can be found in facebook or if you goggle them.

Of course there are other better rims that are Made in Japan/Europe/USA.

How does the car handle? How is the pickup/acceleration? If you have full load (whole family), does it have enough power?
Can any kind soul whom booked their vezel through volks or executive automobile pm me their package so that I can compare and join the vezel family as well? Thanks in advance.

Pick up for me is never important but normal acceleration from traffic light is good/normal. I have not run-in the engine yet, so i have not really tested the acceleration. My 2 kids are too young and too skinny to feel the difference withor without them. lol.

Thanks.
Logically speaking power will drop as the weight of the rim increase from 16" to 17". But i think most of the bro that have collected did not drive with 16" and later upgrade to 17". We just upgrade from day 1. Myself i feel that vezel have no issue with 17 as i don't feel sluggish in moving off from complete stop. Like you i have initial doubt also, but no regrets so far.

i have considered mazda 3 or still considering.. pro is that it is from AD, price is very good compared to the things u get from (almost everything is included).. con to me is it is a sedan.. i personally feel like changing to something else other than sedan..

all my friends actually advise me to get mazda 3 (they dont like to deal with PI) but my heart is going for vezel.. sian thing is i cannot find a PI that allows me to test drive.
Same thing here!! I'm also torn between this and Mazda 3. Personally feel that Mazda 3 backseats are a bit tight in terms of leg room and head room. But the interior is nice, especially with the flip up odometer display, though I must say the drive is a bit sluggish with a 1.3 ton kerb weight, though the ride gives a stable heavy feeling. Just concern about power when it comes to full load. The skyactiv thing is rather nice though. Transmissionseems to be bettercompared to CVT in Vezel. You hit the nail though. Everything is included and warranty is not a concern since it's AD. Did you ask for any price yet from Mazda? Can PM me if you did? My friends had the same feedback as yours.
Hi Vezel owners or Vezel future owners, just wondering have any of you consider Mazda 3? Anyone can point out the pros and cons? A bit concerned on the electronic brake feature of Vezel as if I'm not driving and in situations when I need to emergency brake for whoever is driving, I cannot execute.
I did consider mazda 3 b4... I was looking for another hatchback to take over my honda fit... then i saw vezel and fell in love with it. Personally i feel that vezel looks better externally... And also its a SUV.

i remember the price was $114k back then for deluxe (think about 1 month ago).. discount of $2k if i buy with my friend.. now i think the price is $125k?? i think for price these 2 is almost the same.. but mazda give me the highest trade in value for my current car back then. so if u have a car to trade in maybe that will affect your decision.

drive wise i tested it, it was ok to me . i test drive it with 5 person in the car of average built. a little bit sluggish but still ok. my

i would prefer to test drive the vezel..so i am now thinking of waiting for the kah motor to come out with the vezel (HRV?) first then see how..

I also think so...especially if I were to compare the back seats space. Currently on Honda CRV but too heavy FC. Yet afraid cannot get used to the smaller space on Mazda3. Now torn between AD or PI also.

Well. Speaking from a 2007 Mazda 3 SP owner point of view. I certainly agree there has been much improvements on the current Mazda 3, with Skyactiv,I have never bought from a PI as well due to support and stuff but still settled on a PI Vezel eventually.

I had the exact same sentiments you have right now with Mazda when I wasshopping in car showrooms back in 2007, the continental feel the advanced stylingand alluring interior compared to the cars of it's class, there were simply no match at that point. Fell in love almost immediately when I test drove it, only to realize as times pass, it was sluggish, fuel consuming and lack of power.(I switched from a 2004 Toyota Vios) in case you are wondering.

So I certainly advise that you pick wisely, I have driven Hondas and Mitsubishi overseas and I personally feel Honda has great road holding comparably. I have read up many reviews on the Vezel sinceit's launch worldwide with different entities, reviews have been positive, not taking into consideration for the german makers, it is a great car among the Japanese.

Just my 2 cents!

Seem like the vezel is selling like hot cake.. I went to check out my ride.. It's 12km on the odometer.. And I top up to get the gurantee COE without top up.. Cannot wait liao.. I think I will get my ride soon for another 1-2 weeks..
Bro... Where is this place?
Should be bukit timah turf city.Bro... Where is this place?

I guess when AD brought in the HRV, it may not have the same engine as the japanese Vezel. As such, the comparison may not he accurate.
Should be bukit timah turf city.
Everyday see bros collect cars... Buey tahan liao

Woah. Convert to guaranteed will be faster? Mine guaranteed but have been waiting since early November leh.According to PI, likely will be January. Car should be here like this week or next?
Actually should be whether the PI have stocks ready or not.

Not necessary that top up can get the car faster actually.. There are still many factors to consider..
Generally PI is small business, their profit margin also lower than AD.. So they will not stock up too many cars in the warehouse..I bought the car on 2 August.. That time the dealer has no ready stock.. The car only arrived at 15 of Nov.. But that time I think the Coe will come down, so I went for package that Coe guarantee.. Now the COE is already ~68k.. And seem like the trend now is going up.. I top up to guarantee package without top-up so I would need to worry about it and the Coe will not be the bottleneck..
Btw, if ur dealer don't have the chassis number for u.. Dun think u can have the car on Jan..
Hi all,

I have recently booked a Honda Vezel Hybrid Z from Autolink at Ubi AML, for my dad. The car has physically arrived there and I'm hopeful it is the very same car that we will be taking, as it is a beautiful pearl white finish. Attached are some pictures of the car, front and rear.

Am quite excited as we went for the 6 bid guaranteed COE as they traded in our old Nissan Cefiro at a reasonable price. Reasons why we decided to go for the Hybrid Z model instead of the normal CVT is because I wanted to have a go at the first 7 speed DSG that is produced in Japan, and after finding out that they are using latest generation Lithium-ion cells backed with a 5 year warranty, I decided to bite the bullet and sign on the dotted line. I do believe they should have sorted out the DSG after all the recalls back in Japan.

Another reason to convince my dad to get the hybrid is because our family had a drive trip down under, and we rented a new Toyota Camry Hybrid, which came with a 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine with the famed Toyota hybrid synergy whatever hybrid drivetrain, and achieved 19km/l real world usage despite carrying a full load of 5 plus luggage, over mountainous roads and the Great Ocean Drive, all the way from Gold Coast to Melbourne and back. Totally convinced my dad of the benefits of hybrid. I have faith in latest generation of Honda's i-DCD which will take the fight to Toyota's hybrid arsenal.

Dealer told me I should be able to collect the car before 2015, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have always been a Honda fan, and I currently drive a 2007 Honda Civic Type-R FN2R Euro hatchback, and a GD1 Honda Fit before that. Honda has always had a special place in our family, as my dad owned a few Honda's before and we really appreciate the philosophy behind Honda, Man-Maximum, Machine Minimum (or something like that). In both the Vezel and the FN2R, the rear flat folding capability has greatly enhanced the usability of the car. People who owned a GD Fit/Jazz and Airwave will attest to that.

Really looking forward to setting up or joining a Honda Vezel club here in SG. I will follow up with a full review of the Vezel Hybrid Z once our family have taken delivery of it.

I'm aware that the Vezel Hybrid does not use the old outdated IMA setup, but a newer I-DCD system with the electric motor integrated within the gearbox. Need to do some more research on how similar it is to the Toyota Hybrid system.

Highly likely the HR-V from Kah Motors will be using the R18 1.8L SOHC, found everywhere in the Civic FD and Honda Stream, according to Thai sources.
Now why would u want to miss out on the latest tech from Japan, a 1.5L DOHC direct injected engine with only 11hp lesser but made in Japan, and not forgetting the Cat B COE the HR-V will definitely fall into.
Not looking good for Kah Motors, I see their current pricelist, there isn't anything compelling for people to buy, and they can't get a piece of the Vezel pie because they are bound to selling Thai HR-Vs..

Wow bro ... dam chio. Congratz. If you can collect your car before 2015, that means the PI has ready stock in Singapore. fast and furious.

If Kah motor bring in the 1.8 then I think the choice will be clear to me to get the PI vezel. Less road tax, better fc,new engine..

It is already launched in Thailand. 1.8L with 140hp and 172Nm of torque. Our 1.5L Direct Injection base engine gets 129hp and ~145-150Nm torque. Kah Motor will bring this in, going by the popularity of this model in Singapore. Too bad its gonna be classified Cat B.

Its a no brainer to go for PI Vezel unless you are really concerned about warranty and repairs. Owning a Honda for so many years, I have yet to have a major breakdown for these well built cars, so I am placing my faith on Japan tech.

Had my own negative experience with their service centre when I was driving my Honda Civic. Had to send an email to themanagement to get my squeaking steering wheel repaired and the electronic steering unit replaced. That was after I sent my car back to rectify the fault 3 times and nothing was done except to grease the part. The 3rd time I went, I told the service engineer that I want the unit to be replaced and he said no go. Told him that I will email the management andhe told me to go ahead to complain. If not for the fact that they are the AD, I would never go back.
Just done my 1000km servicing on my Vezel this morning. Oil use Mobil 1 0w-40. Free Service Labour form PI but the oil and filter cost me $127.
Cat A COE: $67,089.

Does this mean good news for those waiting for COEs?

SE just called to inform me that my COE is secured. One step closer to collect my Vezel. Probably can't sleep tonight due to the excitement.
Jap is driver on right hand side. Same side like us.
However if u saw car that driver on left side, it probably import car.
Previously there is a post that different country it name it differently. So I don think is only meant for jap.

Thanks for the answer, bro. I always thoughtit is left hand drive.

Hi all,
When your car arrive in Singapore, do your PIs ask you for the remaining payment, or they wait till you get your car?
