mind sharing what is the OMV and CEV for Vezel Hybrid X? �Which workshop for warranty?

All the old jap n korean cars were snapped up by rental company for uber and grabcar leasing purpose.
To me. Conti cars not lasting and expensive parts, is a myth.
My skoda has served me well. VW has taken over the servicing and they honour the warranty left behind by harvest.
Clutch change, VW quoted $1.6k. Changed mine under warranty. Foc.

I paid $113k for my hybrid.

Subaru = nice drive (true) but bad support and most importantly terrible resale!

Main advantage = Drive all you want into Malaysia no risk of it being stolen.

Think their cars have came a long way in terms of support and resale although I agree that resale value of the brand is dependent on the models.

Subaru looks solid and a bit dated though. Vezel have this up to date 'sporty' look.

In this mini compact SUV category, one will sure turn to look at it.�

What more can you ask. SUV look with affordable ownership cost. (road tax, insurance and petrol)

Drivetrain technology can never be over engineered. AWD is still superior to FWD system no matter how much you don't want to admit. The bane of AWD is the FC which newer Subaru has improved a lot with their latest transmissions technology.�But the stigma of�older Subaru model's FC�will take sometime to clear.

As for the build quality, being solid is something that never go out of style. With crazy car prizes, the built quality of the car ensures lasting enjoyment over all forms of eye-candy. Subaru is known for sturdy cars. Honda is no slouch in this matter too fortunately.

But style and form factor all cars will eventually look dated, but drivability is something that would last while the end of the car's lifespan.

The Vezel is sleek looking now but not the best looking in the market, Mazda still wins in this dept. The interior dash of the Vezel is nothing to shout about and don't you dare say it looks better than current Subaru models.

Vezel has already reached "common status" in Singapore will countless of Vezels and HRV running around. Which so many running around, It's no longer�really�that head turner you expected it to be. But it's because of this status that make it the best selling SUV in Singapore, but at the expenses of shady PIs and Opportunist how there trying to make a quick buck.

It's a good car to own, but unfortunately,�You have to�be very careful when you shop for it.

Well. Just approach them and find out more lor. Even ADs, ppl also complain wat.
At least im ok with the price. Freebies wise, i dun need everything. Delivery time, im ok.
I also decide how much coe i am willing to pay for. Pretty transparent
Many ppl were unhappy with certain PI is due to coe top ups lah.

Quite a good price for S. Try to secure IRoad for the front cam.

For those guaranteed bid coe, the rebate is usually set lower and the margin in much higher. Usually reflected in the price itself.
When the coe shot up too high, if some PI not willing to lower their profit margin, they may not bid. Buyer cannot get car, tats where the problem comes it.
At most the PI refund buyers the deposit.

Buyer waste time. PI sells to other buyers who paid higher price.

As a friend, I told him this, I can let you sell my car earlier, but you provide courtesy car FOC. I can help u to reduce cost by driving a smaller car compared to my current ride.

I told him if u wanna charge me $800 for Altis, $1000 for Camry, I might as well continue to service my loan at $1069/mth for my Lexus GS450H until my Vezel is ready

Those are gimmicks by dealers to lure buyers to showrooms, only to discover they are "sold" (there are actually no used cars to begin with). Then they will try to convince you to book a new one with them.�

A possible a win-win situation is..

1) trade-in the car early (you can help him, and you get a higher value for early trade-in)

2) rent a car from him at a discounted rate during delivery period (e.g. 3 months)

3) if he fail to deliver the new car after the 3rd month, the courtesy car should be FOC until delivery (you get a car to drive, he has incentive to delivery ASAP)

Agree bro! For discounted rate, what kind of range should I look at as a monthly rental inclusive of insurance and road tax?

today i just handed over my 10yo CR-V to PI and rented a Jazz for 1100/mth inclusive of insurance while waiting for my booking to arrive in Dec/Jan.. rather than buy a 2nd hand car for 4 mths. no headache or worries till I get the new Vezel X.

Do note the paint work is so so. Overall paint work is ok, juz some peels here n there at times (feedback frm other reviewers). But overall it's a nice scale model to collect.

Most likely true. but understand from some forumers/Facebook page members, you can get shorter delivery from some PIs with premium of course.

Saw these Vezel in Vicom Kaki Bukit yesterday, just need to hunt around for PI with ready stock

If you fail to get a COE at a certain agreed price within the agreed no. of bids, they may bid at the next one and ask u to top up since the car is already "assigned" to u.

Of cos, if coe is below the rebate amount, u get the rebate.

If pay for the courtesy car, the dealer where got incentive to deliver your car leh? He earning rental income from u leh. The longer, the better for them. Its a lose lose situation for u if u rent car.

Thats better. Haha. Make sure that the price they give u is lower in the market rate. So it will motivate them to deliver ur car earlier too. The longer they delay, the more opportunity cost lost for them.

To those who asked about my COE, yea so if COE shoots up.. price goes up.. TBH the stock is there assigned to me already. just waiting for me to say yes.

I saw a good deal from a "recommended merchant" in Sgcarmart, offering 2bid Gtd at $10xk, ready stock, call them up in the afternoon, talk until like tiger like dragon, say can collect end-Oct, confirm whatever advertised is true and I even tell that salesman i coming down later to look at the car and how much booking fee i have to prepare.

I went down straight after work, saw the guy, show me the car, then suddenly say "why not u consider a used car thats left with 2 years? COE will fall a lot in 2017!" immediately... i smell something liao... i said no, i set my mind on new car already.

Then he said,"ok ok, wah u know ah, nowadays the prices changed so much. u wait ah, let me confirm the price of the vezel again." i said, "har? i tot its already confirm what, if not i come down for what?"

cut the story short... after that he told me "sorry har, my boss say price change already, plus $1k (i tot ok, fine), COE non-GTD, cap at $53k. you want GTD top up $7k."

Some PIs big company are very reliable and trusted..must look at their company profile also..be aware of those offering very very cheap prices as it may not be the best deals..

1. Signed the SA with CarTimes on 27th July for an X-model- white color. Purchase price is $110,800. The SE is Mr. Lai (guaranteed COE with no top-ups). Paid $10K for the COE bidding. Asked for 60% loan. The car comes with the standard accessories:
- leather seats
-2 front sensors
-3 reverse sensors
- reverse camera
-Pioneer audio system
-tonneau cover
-6 months road tax
-3 free servicing
-3years warranty
2. Secured COE in the first bidding exercise in Aug.
3. Leather seats and accessories were fixed on 25th Aug.
4. Vitas inspection completed on 4th Sep.
5. Met the SE and signed all the documents and paid the outstanding amount today (5th Sep).
6. Expecting the car delivery on 11th Sep (Polling Day).

Overall, I am happy with the deal and the experience. Hoping the car delivery would be smooth as well.

I had mine partially done up while waiting for vitas.� Aft vitas cleared, continue to do up other accessories.

The car will be registered on 9th Sep. In my case, the accessories were fixed prior to the Vitas. I personally saw the car with the accessories on 25th August.
