For free delivery need buy above $125, each Svc need 3.5-bottles, meaning need buy 14-bottles for 4-times svc & total approx. $140. For short distant traveller like me, 6-monthly svc once (but I usually go for 10k round which is approx. 7~8 months) So that means I may have to store the EO (last 3.5 bottles) for 2-yr or longer.. �I need to take the shelf-life of the EO into consideration.. � [;)]

There won't be any issue using Cat E for either Cat A or Cat B, just that Cat E assume the value of the Cat it is used in.

�

Dealer be it PI or AD will usually hold stocks of CAT E for flexibility as it is transferable unlike Cat A, B or D.�

The only thing I can think of is it's a transferred COE from a fully registered name, meaning you are the second owner. But I don't think the dealer will be so smelly lah. or you paid�super high premium for it (which only you will know)? With an open Cat I would buy Hybrid liao. You have to consider also in future your resale value as people will just peg you to that of Cat A. Or perhaps you can go to onemotoring to see�if you can find any log car on the vehicle/ coe. But if it is not registereed to your IC yet then you mgiht not be able to get any info. Perhaps someone can advise on this.

My current Cat B car from C&C also registered using Cat E when I booked during the low Coe period but they decided to register using Cat E as the Coe start to go up up and away.

For your case,maybe your dealer have surplus of Cat E coe expiring soon as the validity is only for 3 months.

yeh bro, mine is green hybrid hehe Cat E was 73990 at that time, lucky corresponding bidding exercise CatB was higher price. Hence my rebatable pro-rated COE when i sell 2nd hand in future will be based on 73990, not anything lower.

bro, bodykit and rims can change. The main thing i see what X cannot be upgraded to S ourselves are the paddle shifters.

i think the combo is like old merc b class, n the type n contour of fabric portion will not attract as much dust as compared to a flat cloth surface.

Hi any vezel car owner notice the radiator fan switch on and off abt every 6 second while waiting at junction. And not low speed with aircon switch on. Also with aircon switch off for abt 5 min. The radiator fan did not switch on to high speed to cool radiator down. Any 1 can advise on this 2 issuses. Thank u.

rear torsion beam setup for X feels to have a softer spring than Hybrid. wud not know if S model feels firmer yet refined.

i can vouch for the better insulation as well when i took a joy ride in an X model.

Recently when i wanted to use a drum of transformer oil that was kept in my company's store but when i sent for accredited lab test, they told me it's unfit for use already. 1-reason was due to moisture content.. =P
I guess everything also got validity & expiry ?.. =)

This are some news i heard, at this moment no official announcements so take it as hearsay and speculation..

1)Japan govt may be increasing export tax soon-- it may or may not affect OMV (btw importers actually earn alot from VAT refund)

2)Honda halts new production of existing Vezel models till end April pending decision to continue production or launch new facelift production --new facelift model looks are out already, our friendly new and transparent PI leaked that they will be showing facelift model soon on their fb page�

3)If facelift model is launch, highly likely OMV will increase, thus arf, thus price.

4)Special colour units, and Hybrid Units harder to order from Japan due to production halt, known of a few Hybrid shipments delayed by over 1 mth.

-will COE eventually fall again..we know high chance will rise in the next bidding

-will new CEV rebate affect prices much?

-will PIs transfer higher facelift costs to buyers (highly likely)

-how early would the next delivery be for the eager buyers whose existing car COE is expiring very soon.

Don't be overly paranoid lar.. If pest wanna make a home in your car, there are already 1001 places to do that...rule of thumb is as long no food in car, no pest.... So, no eating please... Hehehe

it is likely that the radiator fan on amd off every 6sec while idling at the junction becos the temperature of the water-coolant mixture in the radiator is hovering above and below the radiator fan "kick start" point.

may i know while at the junction,did ur engine cut off due to the start/stop function ?(my guess from ur description,engine shud have been running throughout)

if the radiator and aircon coil/fins are usually placed back to back,havent checked the design of vezel cvt but my guess is only 1 fan running to ventilate both radiator and aircon coils? turning off aircon requires less ventilation of the aircon coils,naturally the fan need not spin fastnto blow hard.

haha,after typinf i feel my explanation was a bit weird,hope u kinda get the idea..lazy to edit,so just post. ltr i shall go see my hybrid engine bay set up to have a better idea

bro I did make some rough calculations before. I have lost the compiled data.

at that time, if upgrade individual original�items, minus paddle shifter it was well worth the $3K difference.

on my old ride I do have an OD switch for overtaking. One of the reason I opt for S is the paddle shifter.

there are few more. not just this one.

talking about interests payable...

i was calculating the net interest payable i.e. loan interests (effective rate of about 4.3% as it's not amortised mthly unlike mortgage loan) vs 1 year Fixed Deposit rate of 1.35%...

net net a loan amt of 53k for 5yrs..the interest cost is actually not very high....

i was very hesitant to take loan for the car..but after calculating, i think it's ok....took 50% loan

talking about interests payable...
i was calculating the net interest payable i.e. loan interests (effective rate of about 4.3% as it's not amortised mthly unlike mortgage loan) vs 1 year Fixed Deposit rate of 1.35%...
net net a loan amt of 53k for 5yrs..the interest cost is actually not very high....

Those have roach infection, try this. super effective to lure and stick the buggers. I deploy a few traps around my car boot. After 2 weeks, i manage to trap over 20 mini cockroaches.�

This are some news i heard, at this moment no official announcements so take it as hearsay and speculation..

1)Japan govt may be increasing export tax soon-- it may or may not affect OMV (btw importers actually earn alot from VAT refund)
2)Honda halts new production of existing Vezel models till end April pending decision to continue production or launch new facelift production --new facelift model looks are out already, our friendly new and transparent PI leaked that they will be showing facelift model soon on their fb page�
3)If facelift model is launch, highly likely OMV will increase, thus arf, thus price.
4)Special colour units, and Hybrid Units harder to order from Japan due to production halt, known of a few Hybrid shipments delayed by over 1 mth.

-will COE eventually fall again..we know high chance will rise in the next bidding
-will new CEV rebate affect prices much?

I'm sorry,i need to announce new findings,as of now i wud say 90pct true.This is applicable to all who are still at the sidelines waiting to buy Vezel. Importers and dealers will be cutting price soon! We have to take advantage of it by pushing down prices,dun gan cheong to buy. FACELIFT version is out! Even if you don't want to buy facelifted unit,sellers have to clear stock asap. As all should know i am no PI, i am the level playing field fellow. Solar Film, High Spec HU, 1yr rd tax,5yr warranty, x yrs free servicing, hard cover tonneau, etc etc etc are standard offers.
Some have cleared their stock,some have not,it's time to negotiate :0)

My SE said Vezel no rear air con n i saw that it does not have too.

Read somewhere here that Vezel has rear air con vents instead but dont really considered as rear air cons below the 2 front seats.

With the CEVS adjustment and increase export tax, the price will only shoot up. So might as well get the current model if only minor facelift is done.

My SE said Vezel no rear air con n i saw that it does not have too.

Read somewhere here that Vezel has rear air con vents instead but dont really considered as rear air cons below the 2 front seats.

New cars exported out of japan are exempted from consumption tax. do you mean consumption tax exemption will b removed? If not, even if japan raised consumption tax it will not have an impact as it will be refunded aft the car is exported, right?

mine cheap cheap diax a/c treatment under 10 dollars, sonax now also promo at autobacs at 20+. liquimoly also have but its stated procedure quite a hassle to follow n it cost 30+ per can.

Importers and dealers will be cutting price soon! We have to take advantage of it by pushing down prices,dun gan cheong to buy. FACELIFT version is out! Even if you don't want to buy facelifted unit,sellers have to clear stock asap. As all should know i am no PI, i am the level playing field fellow. Solar Film, High Spec HU, 1yr rd tax,5yr warranty, x yrs free servicing, hard cover tonneau, etc etc etc are standard offers.
Some have cleared their stock,some have not,it's time to negotiate :0)

It depends bro, some dealers whom offered you solar films only have them applied onto the front L\R and windscreen. However you may still request for solar film to be applied to the rear L/R and back glass. In this case, ask for clear film with IR/UV reduction with minimal impact to VLT.

yep..both Tak and Vantivetech are correct.

my case i told my service provider i wanted the highest allowable anti-UV and anti-infrared protection. I believe i had 3 different grades of films put on for different panels to get the max allowable one to pass LTA inspection

the clear film is mainly for infrared and UV protection. the car wun be as hot as it used too..great reduction in cabin heat

To be sure, most of the installer have their own measuring device. You can request for them to do a test on it to show you. From what I know, most PI do only the front to cut cost since the rear is already tinted. PM me if anyone needs lobang on this. Got a freelance installer whom I used for years. The guy is mobile. Can do it for you at your preferred location as long as got powerpoint.

I have driven it since before CNY and FC is so far 16km/L to best at 18km/L reading from meter.

�

Pickup is ok as its a SUV and not meant to "zua" or "lup" one like sports or sedans.

�

So far its the best buy even HRV coming shores as HRV is likely MIT or Made In Thailand whereas Vezel is MIJ or Made In Japan.

�

The dealer gave good quality leather seats and wrapping with red stitches.

�

I must say this dealer, Apex Car is good as the salesperson, named Patrick Lim who got no hidden things and is very honest.

�

I do agree many others are also good but its always not the coy tat matters, its the salesperson, dun u all agree ?

For bros wanting to get Vezel, can look for me, I just wanna spread the word about this honest salesperson to intro to you.

I guess, it all depends on your negotiation skills if you want specific types of film.

Usually it comes with installation. some nego for 50/50.

Usually PI�have already�factored in the cost.�Is there really freebies? Someone have to foot the bill. And I believe�most of it and if not all�are really paid by us.

It will be quite difficult to get extra if your PI have very low margin�for�taking your order.

I prefer the current look leh. This one is not as sleek though I must say the front bumper area around the fog lamps do look quite nice like sort of bodykit. In any case as long as the facelift does not include specs change or the whole interior revamping (akin that of mazda 3 vs mazda 6), i will not think it is worth paying more.

The rear brake light is really nice on the concept model, wondering if our friendly shops up north will stock these in future.

Usually PI�have already�factored in the cost.�Is there really freebies? Someone have to foot the bill. And I believe�most of it and if not all�are really paid by us.

Are we allowed to list the partnered workshops for each PI here? A factor that I'm considering when deciding on which PI to go for is the quality of the workshops I'll be sending my car to for servicing. I'm very interested in what the current Vezel owners think of their workshops, e.g. workmanship, price, attitude of the staff, etc. For example, I've seen a few mixed reviews of a workshop that has made me reconsider a certain PI.
