I have tried most of the reputable pi but no pi is willing to let me test drive!

Anyone knows of any pi or sales staff who is able to provide me a test ride to re affirm my purchase can kindly pm me.

Hi bros, another thought that also keep me thinking (apart fm pressing the start/stop button while moving) is the electronic hand brake. I stop my car (in safe place) and pull the electronic hand brake while in Drive mode. It is activated. Shouldn't it not be activated while in Drive mode? Will the full force of the brake, since it's a electronic brake, be applied? Unlike the old hand brake where we can control the braking pressure if needed.

I then tried to release the electronic hand brake but will not deactivate in D mode until I shift to P mode (parking). Any bro experience this?

Nice to know another supporter of the hybrid. In japan, from the looks of it,8 out of 10 vezels are hybrids. The other 2 out of 10 likely to be private car service or rentals

Bro, what did your sales agreement say? Though we know sometimes it is difficult to use the sales agreement to argue with PI. Anyway I believe you need to pay the total amount of your coe if you wish to get it out since the company paid for you first. Even saying so, if your sales agreement did not specify a date for delivery, you are still on the losing end. But the consolation is you got the higher coe.

KM unit come with original HU with full control on the steering wheel. The reverse cam have 3 different views and can see any obctacle behind.

On the whole the KM HRV package is inferior to the Vezel of similar range brought in by PI, not to mention the possibly big difference (>10k) in price.

But i have�some patience left�since I'm trading in my old Civic-hybrid and they let me use it till I get my new car. At least i still have a car for work and shuttling my kids and Mrs around - otherwise i'll get crazy. Yup, saw the COW amount they paid for me in the Dec 2014 bidding and lets just say its around�30% higher than the latest coe bidding. Btw what does that mean? Does paying a higher coe means i have more balue at the end of 10 years? Sorry I'm so clueless with the complicated LTA system.

Since you are trading in your civic it is not so bad then. In fact for me, I do not mind holding longer if my trade in price is already locked in and the PI is on the lpsing end instead from the way I see it since your trade in ride is depreciating. The coe will not start till you get your ride. Anyway no one really talks about paper value for new cars nowadays.

Lol. I will not unless the HU is like that of the bm or merz which cost plenty. From the way I see it, people who buys from KM is because of either they do not care about the specs or they do not like to buy from PI or if KM version comes with panaroma roof.

end of 10yrs your COE will be fully used up, so no rebate value. But since it's higher, next time when you trade in or sell your vehicle, your higher paper value can be a financial buffer to get good price. Personally when i buy 2nd hand cars i am extremely particular of paper value.�

Since you're SA says Jan 2015 delivery, can make noise demand compensation etc. Depending on the exact wordings there, they may not have fulfilled the contract and should compensate.

i am thinking of doing that.. i just don't like mounting a non orgi HU which leaves a "gap" at the sides and i like org stuff.... but i guess i am the super minority..

For now it is QQ. I need to test drive it 1st for final perspective. But judging from how the sylphy and teana felt when i tested,it shud be as impressively creamy and smooth,almost gliding on air feel.

hepa grade filter is better than normal filter. it trap smaller particle than normal filter. Many air purifier uses hepa filter. btw, replacement duration will be same for whatever type of filter. 1-2 years

Btw the price is for 1 set (2 pcs), which are needed for each car.

Not too sure on the construction of this HEPA mentioned here, so i assume it's of same size & shape so it can be fitted into existing holder. If then, HEPA being able to trap more finer particles also means that it would get choke faster, which means need to replace more frequently as compare to the normal filter. Due to the finest in material & construction, it is not cheap stuff.. Plus increase changing frequency, uhmm... =P

Erm Sylphy looks slightly uncle to me although i would rank it above altis. Haha, that's exactly the purpose of a filter, to trap dirt or tiny particle to keep the air clean. If it is able to trap more particle, it tells that the filter is working effectively. Better than letting your lung do the job, right.

Looks like the japs are keeping the best for their JDMs again. It's a SOHC 1.5 engine with lesser engine output. Now i felt happier getting the JDM model.

It has always been that case. You ever noticed that the sashmi u eat in Japan and here in Singapore taste different. Ever the japanese rice u buy from Isetan�is different from those sold in Japan. �I collected toys too and there are some toys from Japanese makers that u will never be able to buy online or through shipping. The only way is to fly there to get it.

ADs like Kah and Borneo Motors are screwed by their Japanese OEM only allowing them to bring in Indon and Thai assembled cars. Japanese car makers already made tons of saving by shifting their Mfg plant to Thai and Indon but why I never see price competitiveness to the JDM cars brought in by PIs.

Drove back to workshop today, the boss checked but can not detect the cause of the vibration sound.
He will check if it is normal or not for Vezel when he services other Vezel.

Need feedback so that I can get back to him. If it is abnormal, will drive back and leave it to him to check again.

Check the exhaust if it was pushed upwards towards the body and got stuck. our exhaust is slightly lower than than car body undercarriage. Should have a gap between the exhaust and the body. It should be somewhere below the driver seat bottom position in the undercarriage running all the way to the rear bumper.

If it is...can try pulling it back out as some joints are spring connectors. Thats what the workshop manager did for mine after he found the vibration sound was due to this. Thankfully it worked as he said else he has to sent to exhaust ppl or replace the whole thing.

Anyway if it is due to this he can see.

Based on the comparison so far between HRV and Vezel, i cannot apprehend why will people still choose HRV over Vezel. Just bcos it is from AD? I am assuming the HRV should be more exp than Vezel since it is from AD, might be wrong but i doubt.

So that they can sleep peacefully at night without worrying tomorrow morning wakeup PI no where to be found.

For my case i am using the Pioneer 8650 HU which has 2 usb ports and 1 hdmi. With the USB n HDMI i am able to use connect my phone to and control it using the HU via a MHL adapter.

There is button above the gear stick that disables the function. Everytime you starts the engine, the function is activated by default.

Just find out something today after 3 months of driving. I was driving in extreme urban stop and go situation with ECO mode switched on and I only get the FC: 11.8km/L. However, the FC became a lot better when I switched off the ECO mode (FC: 12.5km/L). So I find out that the changing of gears become faster and smoother when I off the ECO and I think that's why the FC became better is because of this.

The option should be about $2xx-3xx. But it's rendered useless for aftermarket HU.

�

So do check if you really need it, otherwise no point getting it.

Yup. The stop-start function is not too bad. Should help with FC.�Try it together with electric brake-stop. I feel less jerky that way.�

Minimum go for mobil 1 0w20 or 5w30, or.liquimoly, or other better brands. Wud you mind sharing who ur workshop is? I just enquired thian seng (honda OEM parts supplier)is selling 0w20 mobil 1 for $15/quart. If its a vezel ure driving shud be 3.3-3.5quarts. Other brands can call distributor. It will almost be definitely..to e tune of 99.5% cheaper than price quoted by workshop. From what i've noticed..workshops sell higher than authorised motor oil distributor price. And distributors already have set Retail price stipulated by the suppliers. Can you imagine the total amount of profits that can be made due to the market' (i.e generic car owners) mis-information?

I am doing my 5k servicing next week. Pls advise what are the other better brands than liquimoly? Manage to call liquimoly distributor and got a better price but still close to $100 for 4L.

Did my 3x coats at ceramic pro for about $1250 on 15Jan. After 3 weeks of torture under the weather, water is still beading on the coating; not just the car body, but also the windscreen. Rain drops practically fly off the coating surface when strong wind blows at it. Tyres are still shiny and rims are still free of brake dust. What do you think?

For the princely sum of $1250 it better last at least 3 yrs , but I doubt it will last more than a year. For $1500 you can can a new coat of spray which is a much better option if you want your car keep looking new.

I hoped so too. The caveat is that I am required to do simple car shampooing at least every fortnight. I will try to do a simple review every quarter to see if it is really so good. So far, I am satisfied.

Simply by comparing cost, it seems a no-brainer to go with the $1250 PPS, but the key difference is that I get close to show-room shine everyday for the whole year. Based on my past experience, you cannot achieve that without PPS unless you are prepared to spend a bomb on polishing every month. Whichever option, it still very much depends on what you want to keep you smiling everyday. Cheers.�

So i intend to buy that and get the installer to install for me when my car reach spore shores. My question is Will my 1650DVD be sellable at $300 ? Or what should the proposed price be for it to be cheaper than shops but not so cheap to spoilt market rate

YAY!!!!

Just find out something today after 3 months of driving. I was driving in extreme urban stop and go situation with ECO mode switched on and I only get the FC: 11.8km/L. However, the FC became a lot better when I switched off the ECO mode (FC: 12.5km/L). So I find out that the changing of gears become faster and smoother when I off the ECO and I think that's why the FC became better is because of this.

(Minimum HU model.... At least with Bluetooth, USB slot etc )

Your SE trying to suck you dry. Beware of all the cut corner thing they will do to max their profit. The lower range pioneer hu is not expensive and most of the pi I ask giving 2650.
