hopefully the recalled does not include non-hybrid version....

don't worry bro, non-hybrid version using CVT gearbox, so won't have this issue. Sounds like another VW case again...
Vezel actually have stiff suspension, probably for ride dynamics and better cornering.

Which is why the recommended tyre pressure is a low of only 210/200.
If were to increase the tyre pressure, the better FC comes with a more bumpy ride.

HRV reallyno more"shark fin" antenna
. Do you mean Vezel 2015 model also no more "shark fin"?
Not too sure. But I saw/read somewhere that the few model has no antenna at all.
3 recalls for DCT thus far.

No worries for S, X and G models as all are using CVT transmission technology.

I hoped the respective PIs have notified our Bros with Hybrid model promptly regarding the recall, if any. Keeping fingers crossed.
For Freebies, I gotten 5-yrs warranty, Hard tonneau, Avantguard film, 17", Visor, front sensor corners c/w distant display & switch, Head Unit & reverse camera which I initially opt out cos tot using back my own new HU which was pretty new..

Mine is suppose to come end Jan, but PI did not mention its gonna be a 2015 model. I surely hope its gonna be the 2015 model. I read somewhere that the 2015 model has some cosmetic changes, like no more "shark fin".
As to whether its the 2015 model i thinkits unlikely, perhaps the pi meant that the car is registered in 2015 not becessarily a 2015 model.
23 December 2014 - 04:03 PMCoolsurferBro yes its slightly high and bumpy, i bo pian travel almost 100km a day so i need my tires to be solid, as for fuel consumption, so far averaging 17.6 to 19.2km/L as i dun zua the accelerator a lot and i keep btw 80 to 90km/h

my advice go 230 front back and experiment accordingly
the side skirt i not sure same or not but hope its like urs quite swee
Wont the tyres wear at the centre faster?

Just tried 230/200 but front felt high. Not sure if it the petrol station as Esso was synchronised since i tried 2 stations. But when i went to Shell, the pressure was less by 10psi. Ended up trying now 220/210
I am getting a reading of 10.5km/l seems very low somehow. Previously 15.9km/l before soundproofing which should not be too heavy and dropped to 14km/l but did week suddenly doing around 11km/l

when i first got my ride, it was also very bumpy. release the release the air in the tyres and re-pump to the recommended pressure in the manual. I pump to 220 front and 200 rear. It was less bumpy after that and ride much much better.
Thank you for the tips :) will try it. According to my SE it could be due to the height of the car. Actually after driving it for close to a week now, i am getting used to it.

Drove up to KL on Monday and i managed to clock avg 19.5km/l. Used half a tank of petrol.
![]()

The cruise control function was great as i don't have to step on the accelerator and i can rest my feet :) To stop it just step on the brake and if need to overtake, just step on the accelerator and it allows you to overtake and after that back to the speed that you have set.

Another thing that i realized is the idling stop does not kick in all the time when i stop at traffic light. Not sure why.

For the first time, i also saw the low blue water temperature indicator when i start the car after parking at a shopping mall. It disappeared a few seconds after i move the car. Any idea why and any cause of concern? Since it is blue light, i think it should be ok. My SE told me if you see red/ orange light on the dashboard be concern but green or blue it is ok :)

When you see the blue light, wait for the engine to warm up before you drive off, usually it will take 5 to 20 seconds.

I remembered the Vezel manual said that the car will indicate both "too high" or "too low" temperatures. Most likely it is due to the seasonal weather in Japan. The radiator has to work regardless of ambient temperature, or else, the engine will suffer.

I believe KAH will look at the prices of Vezel and not price HR-V too high over it as it does not make any business sense at all. If it is only <$10k above, think there will be some who bite.

Anyway you can't compare a Forte or Altis to this ride as it is much better aesthetically and in terms of value. Not forgetting Honda always has a special place in some people.

Trust the AD not to price their cars too high? I have better hope for the STI index to reach new high then for ADs to price their cars competitively. I just don't see it. Look that their pricing of tom yam Honda Civic and you will have a rough indication. Yes some will bite but dun think PI losing sleep over this. Well wait for the pricing then we will know.

Hi there, I'm also keen on the hybrid but the number of recalls that have been happening recently, as well as being in Cat B has made me consider again.

I like it for the extra BHP, good FC and the cool gear shifter (sorry, very superficial). What is the reason that you are considering the hybrid?

I am pretty sure ppl who is considering the Vezel would have also considered Altis or Forte too regardless of if it is mid-sedan or crossover or whatever. Cars not cheap in Spore why limit oneself to only one catagory or choice? Docar buyers in Spore need to stick to thecatagory or classificationso strictly?Unless a buyer is so adamant that he/she has to get acrossoverand nothing else, then go ahead and choose from the list and compare apple to apple. If not, if orange is tastier, don't mind getting a orange too. As long as it is not a lemon. lol
