    Ya, veri expensive, that curry rice stall opposite Raffles hotel. Wondered where they moved to...

    Once, I ordered a combi of the pork chop, veg and cuttlefish that cost me almost $11 [dizzy]

    Want good typical hainanese curry rice, go Pasir Panjang FC. $5 or less can eat until shiok shiok.

    Wife and I took a while to clear the bowls.

    Talk about upsize WTM, i missed the WTM at Ubi sold by the old lady and her son.

    Upsize is really extra noodle, char siew, vegetable and wanton.

    Have to tell them no need extra noodles, else cannot finish.

    Too bad retired liao.

    I had to spend another 20 mins to clear my kopi-C after that bowl.

    i go japan, never miss singaporean food. I tend to eat jap food when i go out 7 out of 10 times.

    Right now, my girl likes the genki sushi train at waterway point. So we've been having that for the last few weeks. � [laugh]

    the chick rice chilli is hand made by my mum Thai friend...

    Yep, every time I take this with my CKT or bak chor mee, I felt quilty then I go home I wil gulp extra chi liap Omega 3 fish oil. Haha

    Wanted to eat it to try at 2 pm. But wah filled with youngsters. No seats so didn't get chance. Next time will try.

    2 part I wanna comment (imho)

    1. Usually married ppl ..tends to see "value" differently as youngsters

    2. For me share food with family members still ok...I can't share food with others saliva
    Last time I started work...my ex female colleague asked if wanna try her drink...saw her lipstick mark on the straw...yikes....I really can't...Really just me...

    And considering 2-3 person sharing, $7.80 ain't so bad after all [laugh]

    I only heard of taiwanese shaved ice. Honestly never heard of this bingsu variation.
