i used to visit there a number of times a year too as my friend's family runs a budget hotel there.
So which hotel did you all stayed in?
The karaoke is the one near holiday inn near the seaview right, very nice ambience there esp if you got one with seaview...

think there are 2 or 3 different stalls there right? can't remember the stall name but i didn't like the one that they said was the "original" creator.
btw if you are there on weekends, be sure to visit jonker walk....very interesting night bazaar...there's always a caucasian with a lizard sitting at one pub near the entrance to it.

ooo...haven't stayed there but there ain't too many attractions there...think the 2 shopping malls, the museum and i hate the one way traffic (go go everywhere its only via 1 road, quite stupid design imo and thats the main reason for the jam in malacca)....btw did you all went to a very famous chinese restaurant call "beizhan" there?
