Mine no brand one. Plus need to do my own installation. 50 bucks is pretty standard from my asking around.Omg! $4.40USD? I just changed for $50 buck at the workshop.

This is my personal understanding of the Fuel Economy calculated by the computer. The figure shown is the fuel economy of your latest journey, which will differ greatly depending on where and how you drive.

For example, if you start the trip by entering the expressway, drive 10km at 90km/h, and then exit and end your journey, you will have excellent fuel economy. The picture shown below is very good fuel economy, but only because it is 10km with 90% expressway (in heavy rain).

On the other hand, if your journey is usually in peak hour start-stop traffic, with lots of waiting and queuing (or even McD drive-thru), the computer will show poor fuel economy.

A more accurate estimate would be to use the actual mileage divided by the amount of petrol used (as most people already know). This gives a good average which is the realistic value.

Back to the picture above, I have about 480km to go with 3/4 tank remaining. This gives about 640km for a full tank. Given a full tank of 55 litres, the Fuel Economy will be 11-12 km/l. This is similar to my manual calculation based on mileage divided by amount of petrol pumped.

Please correct me if I misunderstood anything, thanks!

Hi all,
Allow me to share my comments on this 1.2T QQ. Collected a week ago and used up the first tank.
Exterior;
Beautiful and look big for it engine size. Good leg room.
Interior;
I believe, comfort, silent and conti feel was the main reasons that most buyer here feel. The ride was very smooth when changing gear and the colour LCD cluster was a plus point. I believe QQ is the only Japan car under cat A with a colour LCD cluster in the market which make it unique for it class. Unlike some other car makers, yon wont feel any plastic in the cabin.
Power;
Decent enough, I even on the eco mode for my own drive. Don't understand why some ppl say is underpower. You don't expect a 1.2T engine to have a power of 2.0 right. If your focus point on choosing a car is base on power, you wont even bother to see this car. Be fair to this beauty. Btw, if you guys wan to run in, you guys can try the eco mode, wont go beyond 2rpm.
eco mode;
Ok, a lot of ppl don't really like this function as it underpower the car. To be true, it is... but I use it during my whole tank. To me, it it decent enough. Don't worry, you wont be the last when moving on from the traffic light, there will be slower car than you
FC;
Ok, this is serious. Hater gonna hate but this car got the worst FC for now. To be fair, this is only my first tank and have not even go for my first servicing but what I see now already given up.... I only got 10km/L which is far worst than my previous drive.... But as some of the bros here, they can go up to 12 or 13km/l, so shall give my feedback when my time come again.
Horn;
Serious! I don't even know what they put inside. The horn is damn pussy.
Conclusion;
Love this car every sec. This car would be perfect for everyday drive if the FC. Well, other than FC, can't really find any faults...
Hi bro, that horn is hella what model and how much with installation?
Anyone notice that between Fuel Consumption 1 and 2, there is like a timer? For 1 the timer doesn't move when you are on it. It increments only after you turn off the engine and on again. But for 2, it works like a stop watch with the seconds increasing.
Also for Avg speed 1 and 2, avg speed 1 doesn't change after a while while avg speed 2 constantly updates.
Might be stupid question.. but why?
If I am not wrong, 1 is for total distance traveled since last reset while 2 is for current trip from the time your engine is on to engine shutdown.
Hi.. can i check if anyone gotten the Dabonda Dashcam from TanChong with your QQ?
How is the quality of the recording in day and night?
Mine is the dabonda Legend for the front only. The quality is HD only and is average during the day and slightly not clear in the night. I seldom retrieve the footage anyway so should not be an issue.

Tan Chong does the alarm for previous model qashqai at 210. Might want to check with them for our current model.

1 horn not enough. You can consider getting getting 1 high and 1 low tone or aliexpress also sells as a pair.I have the same feel about the horn. I bought a horn from aliexpress (USD 4.44). Now waiting for the time to feel adventurous to open up the bonnet.
Qq has two horns behind the grille - driver side.
After seeing so many Qashqai on the road, I am gonna change rims.... Kekeke[:p]
Haha, picture of new rims please!!

I think only got 1. My previous 2 cars were on stebel tm80 magnum. Quite loud and affordable. Still deciding if I should change for my current ride with this or the hella horn.
Tmr shine torch check again. I thought I saw two horns. Aliexpress price is tempting but some need to wait long for delivery. And not sure how they will sounds like.Haha, picture of new rims please!!

If I loot the rims, I think max I go is 18" due to this issue since most rims at this size are 8J, hence more tire choice.

Thanks, I have previously checked with Tan Chong, they will fix the alarm for previous model for $210. But not the new J11 model. He said this is an intelligent car and fixing an additional alarm, could affect it's configuration.http://sggarage.com/index.php

Does the close proximity remote still works by pressing the door button to unlock? yeah, 8J i think will likely flush with the fender and will look really nice. 8J should be able to get up to 245 and will make your car look more muscular from behind.Was researching new rims and realize Nissan spec the rims at 7J for 19"... Your idea damn good..,, can staggered 225 front and 235 rear. But this is no RWD so I will use 225 all round which makes it easier for tire change. SUVs certainly cost more for tires.... But like the saying, eat salted fish can cure dehydration..... In Cantonese. Lol

Why not try to install the 3m thinsulate with me
It an acoustic treatment to the door.
You will be surprise by how the stock will sound ...
3M insulation works like damping material to prevent sound waves from boucing all over especially against vibrating metal of door that create more distortion. Sound will be clearer, louder without more volume cos you hear less distortion wtc.
See how hollow the door panel is
Replace of stock clips
To a slight bigger clips and foam
Ensure better grip and vibration is absorb by the foam

The 3m material will be well tape up.
And the door itself will hold onto the damping material.

So to add on to razorzone, TC has addressed this and the local leather wrinkle issue has improved than it was several months back . Free of charge redress for it remains.My current civic has another 6 months to go and am considering to get the 1.2T. After reading through most of the posts, I've some questions:
- To avoid the wrinkles issue, has anyone tried negotiating with the SE to change / upgrade the vendor / leather type for free / with a top up?
- Has anyone recently negotiated for free NPMP or insurance or road tax aside from the standard freebies?
- Does anyone know if there will be a facelift version in 2016?
Thanks!
Free NPMP is no longer an option . It's value if paid is just about $1480 so you can put that in context of the overall discount. You can always sign on for this and renew every 40km or every 2 years (I think there may be a limit to 120k km)
Facelift - you need to find out , but I don't think it is on for the spore market yet.

Hi bro, have driven my ride for last 2 week. So far no issue with the wrinkle seat. In facts, the leather feel thick and solid. I did research on facelift model before buying. They do stated that will have new facelift model but no picture only some write up.
Anyway, not too worry about nissan facelife issue. Cause unlike other brand such as Mazda. Nissan is damn stingy about their facelift. Maybe max only add a few more lines. Just look at their previous models facelift and you will understand. But of course this only base on m 2 cents la...

Hi Meemee, how much is it? Does it add alot of weight to the car?
The 3m thinsulate is A very light weight material - will not add much weight to the car
The reason I choose this because due to the weight.
This is a different concept as compare to those conventional soundproofing material
That type is to weight the metal parts down to reduce vibration

I thought the chassis number is displayed in a tiny window at the bottom left of the front windscreen.

sure... but why you need to know other people's chassis no.? Want to go find them??
If it's for part compatibility check, the seller should be able to identify based on model year or series, maybe variant if necessary. If they cannot identify for you easily then I would not take the risk.
Look for parts compatible with right-hand drive Qashqai J11.
If you really need to use chassis code for compatibility check, which is to me extremely dubious, you can always go look at the one in the showroom, or use your own car's chassis no., if booked. If booked and in stock, SE should be able to give you your chassis code.

With PPS, will it protect against scratches? Thought there was 1 vid that showing the guy scrapping against the car countless time and in the end just wipe off the scratch lines. Sianz to see the scratch on my car this morning.

Most PPS will have some level of scratch resistance... many are advertising a hardness of 9H.
The thing is some of them are "self-healing"... heat or friction will cause the coat to cover up the scratch.

But most of the time, PPS cannot defend against extreme, deep scratches which cut all the way through.

Universal items should fit by stating J11 model. Left/right stuffs like front floormat, front windows power switch and its panel may differ.

Lol, no girls for u. The QQ is your new wife.
bros, I think there is a user trying to carry out some scam using sgcarforum, i've got this mail asking for some ridiculous help from this user Sarah2015. this person's account might be hacked into or it could be set up by someone with an intent to con, it could also be a virus, i'm not sure. anyone from sgcarmart who would be able to look into this? if its a virus, then it could affect all of us....
Never receive any PM, if there is anything on bank transfer or revealing of personal details, just ignore or report the user.
Nope, they did a relay with a fuse to the car battery and back to the horn. The relay is hang cable tie near to the minus side. Think also got 4 cables as our current horn only got 2. Not really good at this.Chassis no. can be found on the windscreen and engine, both Must be the same and SE will go through this step with you when collecting car.
Universal items should fit by stating J11 model. Left/right stuffs like front floormat, front windows power switch and its panel may differ.
Thanks for the pic. May consider diy but those horns just plug and play without changing relay right?

Mine was really bad and i managed to get TC to change to a new set.
Which service ctr did you go to?
Which service ctr did you go to?
I went to Bukit Timah one. However the first time I went, I only managed to replace after the manager came out. The second time was harder as the service engineer insisted that it was normal and only managed to change after I told him that they cracked one of the mounting arm of the lights. So I had my loghts changed twice.
Paid full , no increase in priceDid they then increase the price of the car? I may decide to pay full also.

Happy New Year!
Use the headrest to "kiap" the head portion of the car seat. Later I try pulling the seat belt see whether got lock tight or not n let u know.Any of the bros here installed baby seat in their QQ? Tried to install mine at the back seat but couldn't get the seat belt to retract tighter hence the baby seat is not tightly secured.
