I booked in early July. Now oledi over 6-bids. I Checked LTA and seems like they never place the bid for me. I guess they not interested in my business ba. Asked for refund last week. Then they asked me to top for another bid. I don't wanna to top up so now arranging to refund ba. Typical process. Nothing special...

Brought from hup long. They said after car arrive in SG, send for inspection that will take 1-2 months. After inspection and to determine the COE Cat, then they will bid accordingly. They mentioned, car will arrive in Oct and hopefully I can get my car in Nov or Dec latest.

My first time buy from PI and without test drive the car. Keeping my finger cross.

Seems most ASEAN people's seems to wait 1-2 month for Vezel to arrive into their garage. In Indonesia, only in three days 355 HRV/Vezel indent by people at IIMS Lol

I find this a bit funny "After inspection and to determine the COE Cat, then they will bid accordingly.".

They arethe first PI that I went tofind out about Vezel and that is in June. During that time until now, I believe they should haveimported and delivered some Vezel. So from that experience they should know whether is it cat a or b. So basically they can hold on to your money for 4 months before making abid in Dec.

    Or maybe I'm wrong.

Hi TanW1970. That's what they told me during beginning Aug. And you are right that by now, they would have delivered some Vezel and know the Cat. Will go check this out again this weekend.

i really like the way the chinese review the car!

seems like the asian version of top gear minus the swagg [grin]

well the china made 1.8 vtec is an older engine as mentioned by a bro, i reckon the 1.5 will be better

Well most of the PIs are afraid to commit to the Cat as it is still debatable but should fall into Cat A. I know the first batch of Vezel's CEV rebate was $20k or $15k but now confirmed to be only $10k after LTA retested it. Was told the earlier batch owners have to return the diff but Don't think is true.

Anyway, the Renault looks really good but think it should fall into Cat B since it has a turbo 1.5L engine?

Just multiple the litres of the fuel tank with the estimate km/litre, you get the max km.

    Probably around 600km.

Already run in, before was abt 13km/l , i think.

Usually, i try to avoid hard acceleration and be gentle on the brakes, which accounts for 80% of the time when I'm on the road.

About this engine stop function. I'm not sure is it good for SG road where so many traffic lights and jams. The engine on off so many times and the aircon just running on batteries. Not sure the batteries and the spark plug will die prematurely. Just imagine struck in the causeway jam.

    Engine Stop function

    - For Engine stop function when in Red traffic light, do you find it affect theair-con function whenthe engine is cut off?

    Regards

Yes it does, at low speeds i.e. below 30km/h

In fact, I find it rather irritating at times, well... most of the time.

Most recent incident was carpark upslope.

Drove "too close" to the barrier and the CTBA came on (with warning beep beep beep), cutting engine power and car started to roll backwards. Luckily no car behind.

Another time, while moving off from traffic light, i was again "too close" to lorry in front and (warning beep beep beep) auto e.brake! Damn!

It may give you a fright.

I was startled initially but getting used to it now.

Engine stop does affects the air-con.

But you can either manually turn this off (it will be auto-activated each time u start ur car).

    OR

when stopping, depress brake just enough to stop the car and not to depress all the way.

There is actually a slight gap in between.

Of course, dun hold it in macham half-clutch position.

Usually, if i know the green light is coming on soon, i will not depress the brake all the way.

Hi guys, understand that because of LTA testing and the CAT A/B confusion, the arrival of Honda Vezel might be delayed.

    Just want to ask

    1) How long is the delay? What's the period between ordering & getting the car?

    2) Is the delay due to the LTA testing only? Why does LTA do testing on all Vezels - is it cause it's parallel imported?

    3) My car will have to be de-reged next year early Feb. If I want a smooth transition, when should I order it? I'm actually wondering if I should wait till January to see if the COE will drop further. By then, will LTA still need to test all Vezels?

    4) I'm thinking of ordering it from Autolink, any experience with them?

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Sean, can this CTBA be turned off androughly what is the distance between your car and the object in front before it activates? Den like that how to do parallel parking?

Press and hold for 1 second to off CTBA.

I dunno leh but did not encounter problem during parallel parking.

It will automatically turn on the next time engine is started.

    Anyone able to help? Thanks!

    Justbear

    Just want to ask

    1) How long is the delay? What's the period between ordering & getting the car?

    - depends. iirc, pi cars usually takes 2-3mths, less LTA inspections

    2) Is the delay due to the LTA testing only? Why does LTA do testing on all Vezels - is it cause it's parallel imported?

    - becos LTA is testing cars near to 130bhp. Vezel in this case is 129bhp

    3) My car will have to be de-reged next year early Feb. If I want a smooth transition, when should I order it? I'm actually wondering if I should wait till January to see if the COE will drop further. By then, will LTA still need to test all Vezels?

    - whenever you think the COE price is right for you. the testing from LTA is an ongoing thingy. unless Vezel declared it is only 110bhp (maybe)

    4) I'm thinking of ordering it from Autolink, any experience with them?

    - no comments. never deal with them before

    Hi,

Would like to check if G, X & S come with leather seat? whether is fitted in japan or locally, thanks.

Hi there, standard for G is fabric, if you want leather have to special indent from japan but the PI will throw it in for u as a package locally fitted

for X its fabric as std, but leather is also locally fitted on the seat as well as the door panel by PI

For S, i think its leather or partial leather as standard, full leather fitted locally as well

note info from my PI cartimes
