Since this is my 1st Tank, meaning it still yet to run in, so I very kia-xi.. So far my rev never cross 2.7k. Speed never exceed 90kph.�(my usual was 100~120).�But my ride is 92% city, 8%HW.. �

Maybe on the bright side is that vezel got better fc than your previous ride. Is it?

Hi Sis, usually lots of factors. Rim size on average, even if assuming you are using light weighted alloy rims, will take away FC of 1km/l per inch increase. Similarly, you want good savings on tyre pressure, I may be wrong but about 230-235kpa for both front and back is practised with some going up to 250 even, though it does wear out your tyres faster. Many other factors include aircon, engine running in, eng oil used, and many other factors which I am sure bros here can advise more. Since this is your first run in I would think just monitor gradually. It may get better once the ECU gets familiar with your driving style and after your first 5k km.

Lol. Depends on your profile and suspension bro. I tried with both low and high profile tyres on 250kpa before on different rides. Fuel savings is good but tyres really wear out much faster. Low profile definitely bumpier. High profile tyres seem to be ok especially with SUV rides. Even the brands matter, with yokohama and goodyear being quieter for some models. Those with good traction and low aquaplaning of course may be noisier.

Hmmm, I felt it is ok leh as I had driven a few hondas. Think compared to subaru and suzuki its much more comfy already..honda's not too soft nor hard imho.

Same thoughts bro. Many buyers both new & old are waiting at the side lines. Once drop, buyers will jump in, pushing prices up again. And if price don't drop, buyers will start panicking, jump in & push price even higher. I have many friends just waiting for COE to drop .... just my personal opinion.

Just a question the the bros here. I just collected my car few days back and noticed tat the leather seat color and texture is different from the head rest. Is it normal? Or are they supposed to b using the same leather?

So this is also rename to Honda HR-V in Malaysia and Indonesia?

Obviously this savings we should expect PIs to transfer to us. If not then we should know to squeeze down further on asking price.

Good dealers should want fast turnover. Margins are flexi actually. Gross margin per car like e vezel should be 20-25k for G/X/S and mayb 3-5k less for hybrid. Nett off all costs of delivery, towing insurance, warranty, freebies etc etc. smelly smelly also 17-18k. Based on this...hypothetically we can "dare dare" open an offer 7k off their selling price and slowly nego up, usually meeting in the middlem which is a decent upfront discount of 3-4k? just my 2 cents worth...but DEFINITELY not the 3-4k profit per car that alot of dealers have told me. "Close eye and lie through their teeth..omg!" Since selling like hotcakes, i hope dealers focus on turnover rather than squeezing profit margin per sale, this benefits every client through upfront savings. Note that 1 more car sold is >15k profit in the bag. If squeeze margins from clients is 3-5k more only and risk losing the sale.�

I have noticed that there are a lot of 2014 stocks lying around warehouses owned by the PI's so what you get these next few months all 2014 made stock not 2015. Unless your car comes in by say March or April.\

Do check the delivery date. Upon collection i found mine was actually reached SG in July and i collected in OCT

It all depends on the context of the "advertisement" by the car agents on how transparent these ads are.

what you listed is also valid, however, there are also instances where a YOM (year of manufacture) can be 2014 but because it is already late in 2014 (i.e. Q4), the manufacturer starts to manufacture a variant for 2015 thus, they call it model year 2015 but manufactured also in 2014.

�Simple, if they have stock for Hybrid they may sell you Hybrid. Usually not many have stock, so they'll sell you the normal 1.5L cvt which they have in stock or ordered way more units which are on their way to SG port. Profit margin for Hybrid is less than G/X/S model. Usually margin eaten up by higher warranty costs. Be aware that Hybrid CEV is 15000 while the cvt is 10000 thus far. Actually it may not be 2015, the stocks maybe 2014 made and by the time shipped here to our ports its already 2015�

I have noticed that there are a lot of 2014 stocks lying around warehouses owned by the PI's so what you get these next few months all 2014 made stock not 2015. Unless your car comes in by say March or April.\

i saw it when i collected my car and there was this leather cloth attached to my remote keys and it stated july 2014 and a yellow sticker that indicate the date the car was shipped

need to locate the car chassis detail to find out date of manufacture - correct me if i am wrong

Just a question the the bros here. I just collected my car few days back and noticed tat the leather seat color and texture is different from the head rest. Is it normal? Or are they supposed to b using the same leather?

I was informed earlier by the shop who fixed the leather seat that it is a common practice that PVC leather is used on the head rest and the back portion of the seat. Any bro here face the same issue? Cos it look so strange when the color of the seat and the head rest is of two different colors.

It is now close to a month since i have the car. Enjoying it :) So far I have not experience the CBTA. It could be the way i drive as i tend to slow down when i approach any gantry as i am afraid to have it activated since reading about the not so nice experience that some of the bros here have.

Another thing that i notice is the aircon. I set at 24C but i notice it gets colder when the outside temp is high and when the outside temp is low when it is raining, i feel the air is warmer. Not sure if anyone experience that and is it normal.

I have gotten the PPS done at Revol at the Toh Guan branch. Did the ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection. Happy with the outcome. When i first saw the car, i can see the side lines and shape of the car more obvious. When i touch it, i can feel a coat on it which is really smooth to the touch. The whole process took about 4 hours and it includes the rim and glass coating. The interior leather are polished and my black leather seats looks shinny. When i first collected the car, it looks matte and dull. They do sell the maintenance package but i did not go for it. I want to test out if the effect can really last 3 years. The manager also did explain the process very well. They also offer to & fro pickup to Jurong East MRT.

Mine is a single colour throughout. Even if the material needs to be different. There is no excuse for the colour to be different. I suggest you bring the matter up to your PI. Get your PI to show you other cars which may have refitted with leather seats by the same installer.

Hey guys my dad has driven his baby for close to 2 weeks now. 85hwy/15city and achieved 17.8km/l.
Ran slightly more than a quarter tank (~15L) for almost 280km, running completely dry can last abt 660km.
This is done with ECO off, start stop off, a light foot and cruise control with light traffic :)

Hi..pls do look at exact specs when HRV is launched. And be sure to check the omv and arf of it b4 committing. U may be paying a bigger price for less. If on loan,the price wud be magnified. Warranty nowadays are sub to big workshops that service more cars than AD's workshops.

Hi Guys, need ur help on this....my current�car's COE = 88K (2012 purchased), looking to purchase a second hand 2012�model (with a lower COE say 50k, ), will i be saving money in the longer run?

Hi,i think wud need more info on omb,date of register,price,omv and arf for.any guys to give opinion on that. As a general comment..buying 2nd hand car with lower coe likely to not be beneficial to new owner
