but please take note the HP for the hydrid is higher than normal petrol engine difference of 20 bhp

and it will be in cat B

Vezel has much smaller rear legroom/headroom compared to Qashqai or similar?

i think qashqai should have higher headroom as it is a slightly longer and bigger car

but the vezel has already very spacious legroom at the rear already

    Vezel dimensions:

    Height -1605 mm

    outside length-: 4295 mm

    , wheelbase:- 2610 mm

    base curb weight: -1190 kg

    fuel tank - 40 litres

    Nissan Qashqai specs

    Body height

    -1606mm

    Body length-

    4377mm

    Wheelbase-

    2630mm

    Curb weight: 1,360 kg

    fule tank - 65 Liters

I'm about 1.7m tall. After adjusting the driver seat, I still find the rear seat pretty spacious and I can even cross my leg. For me the head room height is ok comparing to Subaru XV which I find quite low (no experience with Qashqai). I belief Qashqai boot is definitely bigger than Vezel.

    Go try it out.

Dear all, I am 1.82m after I have shifted the driver seat all the way to the back, I tried the passenger seat behind and I feel that there is still ample space behind

Yes, lots of leg room for rear passenger.

    BUT... ... ...

Recently noticed that getting on and off for rear passenger can be difficult.

Probably due to limited entry clearance caused by the rear wheel arc.

It is less of a problem if you can open the rear door fully, which can be a challenge considering tight parking space.

Hope the above comment won't turn potential buyers off [:p]

I am still very much in love with my Vezel btw... :D :D

Currently, averaging 14-15km/L in Eco mode.

Rush hour traffic, 15mins journey can take me 30-45mins [knife]

The eco mode seems to be adapting to my driving style.

Any bro can help to verify this?

    Argaration...

Pump interval of 10days, about 32 litres each time.

    Mileage: 450+/-.

Shell98. approx $70.00 after card discount.

The eco mode was rather sluggish initially but with continual usage, it feels different, i.e. more power.

This is based purely on my butt-feel, which prompts my earlier question on whether it really does adapt to my driving habits.

What is the difference between eco and non eco mode? Does it limit the aircon fan speed, limit the move of acceleration speed, etc...?

Overall acceleration is smooooth thanks to CVT.

    My ex-jazz '07 has a better pickup from 0km/h.

Mid-range & above, Vezel has more power (Jazz can be struggling in this range.)

If anyone knows where to get the tonneau cover... please share!!

I am currently sourcing for the auto dimming rear view mirror. Seems like a cost option in Japan for it as listed in Soonkuay's post above.

Do you know how long you will have to wait? Some PI have such good sales that they projected till next year for delvery + lta inspection. I was told as I wanted to upgrade from g to x.

My PI estimated delivery to be in Dec this year. Yours is 1 bid COE or you are using the 6 bids non guaranteed?

If 6 bids then have to wait longer as you have to buffer the time to successfully secure it.

Moos.....actually 1 bid coe and delivery in Dec is same as "6 bids" as they will also also use the waiting period of about 2-3 months from now to make a successful bid....need to clarify with yr PI whether top-up required. No need to top up the coe safer.

To those bro needing the tonneau cover, try getting your SE to have it foc at their cost...

Had no chance to order the tonneau cover then as my ride was already sitting in the show room.

& yeah 250 is hefty price to pay... sounds crazy [knife]

Btw, the boot contents are not clearly visible from the rear due to tinting.

The vezel rear windows is definitely more tinted than the front and if the rear can pass inspection surely the front have no problem.
