I was at Turf City over the weekend and at the grandstand car park, there were at least 5 vezels parked there, most likely awaiting LTA inspection. they all had the TLC (PI) agent's plate, which i think is located at the auto-mart on the basement of that car park.
Did Opticoat gloss DIY last Sunday night while the car is new. It was easy to apply especially following the seller's instructions.

Just washed the car today and am so happy with the sheeting results. Water just rolls off. Hope this effect lasts. Considering it rainned the whole week, the car was pretty clean and the dirt that was on the paint easily wipped off.�

Yes. Those Vezel are from TLC. And one of those Vezel could be mine.

Yup...i did it myself. Since the car is still new i didn't polish it. just washed,dried, �used rubbing alcohol (from Guardian) to remove any wax.�
Then applied opticoat gloss in a bright covered area (Got it as it is newer than the opticoat version 2). Its $98 (www.optivax.com.sg/products/paint-protection/coating.html). Benny the seller gave many good tips on how to apply. Comes with a sponge so i had to get a microfibre cloth. Actually i just drop afew tiny drops and was just running the sponge around didn't see any flashing as in the youtube examples) so was not sure if i covered everything as it was easy.

Got to be careful and check if overapply although it was easy to just wipe wait 2 minutes and wipe with microfibre cloth. I ended up with a super hard tiny dot of the opticoat overapplied forming a micro hill �which i can't scratch away even with my nails. Good thing not noticable. Not sure if i applied enough but manage to go through the car afew times. Poured water all round today and it runs off itself.

From wat i know, all the glasses are already/originally coated & tinted with UV protection from Japan (it's printed on the glass panel). And i was told it has passed LTA inspection (in terms of light penatration). However if u need further heat insulation, den you can add additional solar film. But need take note of light penatration-after-film in case next time inspection fail due to our own addition..

Dear all, please take note that the Air filter's BLACK locking clips are very loose. It will detach easily, i nearly lost one black clip when trying to fix back?
Ahh. That means Honda use back the same air filter box as Honda fit. My Fit already had one missing clip for 4 yrs. This clip can be purchase at a shop near Carlton hotel... Sorry can't remember the exact location.
Yes mate. $10k is very common for car deposit nowadays. They will ask you to settle the rest once the COE is finalize.

May I know which PI you ordered from? The affected airbag were mainly the older models. Don't think the newer Honda will�have this issue. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear that it took such long time for your car to deliver. I'm not so sure how your PI work but my PI just got me a car within a month time. I booked and paid the deposit on 18 Oct (with one bid guaranteed COE) and collected my car on 13 Nov (original promised date is early Dec).

I am not sure what is your deal. Anyway, if you have not obtained your COE and have not seen and sat in your car, I am afraid you are in for a long ride. I don't think LTA can afford having a car take up space for so long. Should go down and work it out with your PI.

Your car delivery is taking too long. I booked my car in mid Aug. When my car arrived (mid Oct) my SE called me, gave me chassis number and ask me go down to show room to inspect the car. Last week, he called again to say car went for inspection and can take delivery after next week. They will also bid COE next week. According to him "COE no problem one lah". I have selected my leather seat & doing whatever upgrade I want before collecting my car next week ... hopefully. Can never be happy until keys are in my hands.
One question for other bros ... my SE ask for full payment before car collection. Is this normal for PI?

You will only know when you contact them and see for yourself the deal that they are offering. I think all of us face frustrations and unease when dealing with the PI but that's the way it is. I went back to my previous PI as they have been around a long time and I don't mind paying slightly more for "less uncertainty and anxiety" while waiting. The new LTA inspection thingy does not help at all and adds to the frustration. Like what the bros said, it's a roller coaster ride. But if you have done your homework and read through the contract details, it should be a matter to time to get the car. So sit tight but be prepared for the unexpected.

Booked the S model on 7th Nov with immediate COE. Today SE called to say car can be collected this Saturday. So thrilled!
I called the sales guy and he say my car with LTA. So i didn't go down to see the car and they didn't show me any COE documents. Is there any way i can ask the guy about the car? Because he always tell me it's with LTA so i cannot call him bluff.
Hi Shieldheart, u may ask for the chassis number or ask your SE to take a photo of it.
My SE not only text me my chassis number, he also took a picture & sent to me. That's why i felt blessed to have met my PI.
