I guess switching to different weapons help to up the xp also because the lower level challenges for each weapon quite easy to hit, use a few times and can get those headshots and kills challenges

Try AK74U and Galil, see which one you like. Personally I prefer AK, less recoil and higher chance of winning face to face. I equip with grip and rapid fire.

so if you switch to a new gun after 200 kills you get another 2000xp after another 200 kills, no need to wait for another 300 kills to get 3000xp if you stick to the old gun right?
