fast! i'm still waiting.... from axa... haiz 1.5 months already.

Mine was with AXA. I waited for 2 months plus before deciding to call the agent to chase after the reimbursement. The representative said: "Oh yeah got reimbursement of xxx dollars. I will prepare and send it out today." After the call, I received the cheque in my mailbox one week later.

    Thanks Bro.

I actually stretch my budget to get the 2.0l... don't want to regret like the last time when I got the Mz3SP (Model BK).

I hardly use the paddle shift as the power from the 2.0l engine is more than sufficient... ^_^

Ahhh. Ok. The kit and pedals come with the 2.0. My Se told me that when I was shopping around back in Oct. Dunno about now but at that time it was quite standard. I got the 1.5 cos the 2.0 was above my budget although I'm sure you're enjoying the pedal shifting power. Envy envy. haha Cheers bro!

This should be normal for all cars hence the need to rotate your tyres (bring front to back and vice versa) every half year or so.

I've given up listening to music when driving at high speeds especially on highways.

Malaysia highways are especially noisy, particularly along stretches where it's concrete and not tar.

225 vs 205...more road contact, more friction, more noise.

But actually 225 refers to 225mm width of tyre right? Meaning 2.5cm more right? If change to a quiet tyre e.g. Yoko DB or Mich P3... Can actually be more quiet than current stock tyre despite the additional width right?
  • 21 January 2016 - 07:26 PM
    Ken-sanki

I'm use to it (mys road noise) alr. This coming CNY, I will have to bear with it...:(

    Plan trip:-

    5/2 from SGP to Maur (182km / 2.5 to 3hrs drive)

    6/2 from Pagoh to Changlun (661km / 6 to 7hrs drive)

    9/2 from Changlun to Pagoh (661km / 6 to 7 hrs drive)

    10/2 from Muar to SGP (182km / 2.5 to 3 hrs drive)

back SGP, can go for 5km servicing liao...:)

If you are doing primarily city driving most of the time with start stop traffic.. highest i have seen so far reported is 7.9 - 8.2l/100km.

It really depends on your driving route, driving habits and etc... light foot and etc.. If you drive like a guniang and etc, even the legendary petrol thirsty Matrix can achieve 24km/l.... [smash]

I done some manual calculations.. My Avg FC are around 13.5km/L to 14.5km/L. Almost the same as the reading shown by the car..

Hi Guys!!! Yeah, tomorrow going for my 1st servicing..1k super overdue! i am on 2300km mileage and 1k servicing not done. Our dear mazda 3 babe really 'yawns' loudly every morning when i first start the car.. here comes the super "GREY" Question!!

Do you guys wait for the engine warming up ('Blue LED') to disappear first before driving off or you drive off immediately after you start the car? Sometimes quite irriating to wait for the engine to warm up when you are late for work... hahaha

Have to wait for at least 2 mins before the babe is ready for you..

Come .. share share.. is there really a need for the engine to warm up before driving off?

Hahaa i normally take my time , so i wait even longer for the engine to warm up, after the blue light off, i still wait for sometime.
Still the old school boy mentality, prefers to warm up the car.

The rev will drop / normalise once proper warm-up ;)

My old car, can feel the different between drive off immediately n with proper warm up.

Just my opinion lol! Many bros n sis will think otherwise :b

Just sent my car for 5k service. Also file a 3rd party claim against the "PRIUS UNCLE".

Was told that the bracket holding onto the headlight washerwas damage. A new replacement will cost $200 - $300 odd!!

Front bumper, repair will cost $800 odd (cash). Only a minor damage and they are charging an exorbitant amount!!!

So i question, howdoes the procedure for 3rd party claim be done and what will be my next course of action?

Mazda mentioned even for 3rd party claim, my insurance will need to investigate with the other party.

However if other party did not make any report within the time frame or deny any of this had happened, my claims will not get through?

Is that true? Submitting vid recording is not sufficient for my case?

Otherwise, that guy (filipino) who attended my case was trying to smoke me with his complicated accent.

Not being racist or being judgmental in any way.

I will go to a 3rd party workshop to do the claims. Buy your own parts from the local stockist and change. Much cheaper and still original parts.

yes, share the secret bro. What is the driving method? accelerate light footed? never beyond 90km/hr?

Actually I find that if you accelerate hard...it can save more FC as it give the car the momentum fast to reach its sweetspot fast, than accelerating with a light foot slowly...Tried both to come with the conclusion, so now I just accelerate hard and the FC does not worsen..

24-5KM/L can achieve if you do trips on long HW at night...e.g. KPE, MCE, AYE... set your cruise control...

On average you will get about 14-5KM/L... 20% HW, 80% City Driving... after run-in...

    During run-in, average about 13KM/L...
