I think it can be either all by ourselves or against the public, as long as you have the required number of players.So only squad rush is vs each other.. the rest is played with other players online???
For squad rush as an example,
if u hv only 4 kaki, then u can setup as a squad and then kick off the game with other 4 public players as the enemy squad.
if u hv only 8 kaki, then u can setup as 2 squad and then kick off the game to play on our own.
I think so only, I've not tried setting up a game in the lobby before.

I just recalled that there are also optional slots under each squad.
I remembered seeing 4 required players for each squad and below that, there are slots for optional players. So potentially it means that we could have more players in each squad for Squad Rush.
But it will be 2 Squads only, playing against each other basically.

The word Private Match should means a game for your own group only right? Meaning Invited to it.
So you cannot actually kick off the game and let the public players to join?

The rescur action was very fast (personally I felt it's faster than killing ppl), so it's easier to earn pts. ha...
GS, thx for guiding me on this last night.
Ixus, u might want to consider changing your BC2 sentivity if it is too slow. I find it difficult at first and it got better after changing this.
You might also want to check the Tips For Newbies in my About Me section. It has 10 quick tips for BC2. The BC2 gameplay is quite different from MW2.
As for the Private Match, ytd I went to explore this before going into the game.
Somehow, we can only select Rush or Conquest. There is no option for Squad Rush or Squad Deathmatach leh.
The number of Teams was limited to 2 only, but need at least 4 per side to start, max shld be 12 players per side.
As to whether we can all be in the same side (just like the party in MW2), I think we have to rely on the "Play with Friends" mode and then join any of us who are currently in the game. With that, we shld be all on the same side (I think so only, because I was on the same side when I joined last night's game and also noticed all of us on the same side). This is also provided that game is not full yet.
Feel free to add/comment ya, the above r based on my observation only.
