The tall, attractive 34-year-old has never experienced menstruation and visited a gynaecologist only recently to seek help for a possible infection of her vagina.
The specialist doctor found out through ultrasound scans that the woman does not have a uterus or ovaries. Instead, the doctor found testicles in the woman's groin area, albeit undeveloped ones.
The woman's chromosomes have also been verified as type 46XY, making her a hermaphrodite, or a person born with both male and female sex organs. She is also found to have testosterones, or male sex hormones.
In this peculiar case, the woman is a highly educated professional with a boyfriend and also prior sexual experience. She looks like a normal woman, was raised as a female, and has always believed that she is female.
According to the doctor, about 3 to 4 in 100,000 people may have this condition.
To help the woman, the doctor will be removing her testicles with surgery before following up with a prescription of estrogen (female sex hormone) supplements. The doctor adds that if left untreated, the undeveloped testicles may turn cancerous.

A man has been convicted for punching an old man who drove his car too slowly.
Huang Jin Ying (27, restaurant director) was charged for assaulting Chen Kun Wei (65, self-employed) on 10 April this year.
Chen had been celebrating his birthday at St. James Power Station that day. Chen was leaving the place at about 4.30am and was driving his car towards the carpark gantry when Huang's car got behind that of Chen's.
Huang's car was driven by his wife, Wang Hui Fen at that time.
Chen was driving very slowly on the one-lane road towards the gantry, and Wang had no choice but to follow slowly behind. Irked at how slow Chen was driving, Wang sounded her horn to urge Chen to drive faster.
A short while later, Chen stopped his car along the one-lane road to pick up his wife and daughter, further infuriating Huang and his wife, who had to wait for them before they could move.
Wang sounded her horn again at Chen, who responded by winding down his window to signal them to wait a while. The husband-and-wife duo then began quarreling in the car behind Chen.
Huang took over driving the car at this point.
Chen's family had boarded the car by this time and Chen continued to move towards the carpark gantry. However, the older man stopped at the gantry again after realising that his cashcard contained insufficient value to pay for his parking fee.
Huang, incensed at the delay, got down from his car and punched Chen without a second word.
Chen fainted from the punch and sustained a swollen right eye and a 2cm scratch on the right side of his face. He received 14 stitches as a result of the attack.
In mitigation, Huang explained that he had thought Chen flashed him an offensive sign when Chen wound down his window earlier to signal for them to wait. Huang also said that he did not realise that Chen was an old man before punching him. After discovering he had hit an old man, Huang apologised immediately and remained at the scene without attempting to flee.
Huang has been sentenced to 7 days of short term detention for the offence.

Lost your iPhone 4 and want to find out who stole it? There's an app for that.
If your iPhone 4 is jailbroken, the iGotYa app will take a photo of the person who enters a wrong passcode at the lockscreen.
The app then emails you the photo together with the phone's current GPS location and a Google maps link.
In addition, iGotYa has a secure mode which limits unauthorised access to your phone's features. Secure mode blocks access to data such as SMSes, photos, contacts and call history.
Thieves will also be prevented from turning off the phone while it is locked.
The app can only be used if your phone is running Cydia, and costs US$5.99
The app proved useful for a recent robbery in New York.
A 31-year-old woman living in Queens received an email with the photo and location of the man who had snatched her iPhone from her pocket.
Thankfully, she had downloaded the iGotYa app earlier in the week.
She sent the photo and details to the police, who recognised the suspect and tracked him down.
Police then arrested the man at his home.

THE Singapore Land Authority (SLA) wants its money back. It says it was cheated out of $12.18 million between January 2008 and April last year.
It is suing 18 people and firms for the sum, including the two alleged perpetrators Koh Seah Wee, 41, and Christopher Lim Chai Meng, 38, as well as their wives, Koh's mother, Lim's mother-in-law and nephew.
The others being sued are accomplices and firms which billed the SLA for goods and services that were never supplied.
In its statement of claim, the SLA says it has the right to the money because Koh and Lim had conspired with the others to cheat.
Koh faces 372 charges - 360 for cheating and 12 for money laundering by way of using the proceeds of his crimes to buy property and cars, and invest in funds.
Lim faces 309 charges - 281 for cheating and 28 for money laundering.
Koh was deputy director of the SLA's technology and infrastructure department, while Lim was a manager in that department.
The SLA has recovered at least $1.3 million from the sale of two cars which belonged to Koh and his wife.
Assets seized are typically disposed of only after a suspect is convicted, and after a disposal inquiry. But The Straits Times understands that in this case, the relevant parties - including the prosecution and the defence - agreed to put up the cars for sale first, given that they are depreciating assets.
In this suit, the SLA is primarily targeting the defendants' assets. For example, Koh owns a unit in the AxisSiglap, a condominium on the east coast.
Koh, Lim and his family members have not filed a defence. A default judgment could be ordered against them when the civil case is heard.
No date has been fixed yet.
In court papers filed by Koh's wife Yeing Nyok Sea, 40, and his mother Kok A Mui, 71, both said they were unaware of what he did at work.
Ms Yeing said she told officers from the Commercial Affairs Department that a condominium unit, which her husband bought in her name, had been seized and sold.
However, she insisted that another apartment, bought in the couple's names, had been paid for with proceeds from the sale of their former matrimonial flat, the sale of Koh's mother's property and his CPF funds.
Mr Foo Yoon Sen, 41, one of the 'vendors', has gone missing.
Former swim coach Ho Yen Teck, 32, is already serving a 10-year jail term and is being sued by the SLA for $9.79 million. Anthony Xavier Foo Doon Tong, 43, also in jail, was given three years for cheating. He is being sued for $290,000.

but try going for quality buffet where the attraction is the variety and freshness of the food and not quantity.
it's more interesting to enjoy a spread of small but excellent dishes than just a single course or two.

The National Environment Agency issued a heavy rain warning on Friday, with heavy thundery showers with gusty wind expected over many areas of Singapore between 12.05pm and 1.20pm.
Flash floods may occur in low-lying areas in the event of heavy rain, the Public Utilities Board warned.

Many men are taking advantage of the tebus talak system to "buy" people's wives.
A man in Johor paid RM20,000 (S$8,100) to the syariah court to pay for a divorce so he could marry Normah, 31, Harian Metro reported.
The RM20,000 was payment for tebus talak (divorce by redemption) as Normah's husband did not agree to a divorce by consent.
She told the Malay daily that the man was willing to part with such a huge sum of money as he was determined that they be together.
Normah said she had told her then husband of her intention to be with the man, who was her ex-schoolmate, but he refused to give his consent to a divorce.
"So I had to go to court which allowed the tebus talak divorce," said Normah, who married the man four months after the divorce.
Syariah Lawyers Association of Malaysia deputy president Musa Awang said there were many men who took advantage of the tebus talak system .
He told the daily he had handled 20 tebus talak divorce cases this year and most of the time, the money was provided to the women by their husbands-to-be.

Only 42 per cent of the 460 executives Hudson polled in September intended to increase headcount in the final quarter (Q4) of the year, against 56 per cent in Q3. A year ago, in Q4 2010, the figure was 58 per cent.
"Hiring expectations are falling from the high levels of the last two years, due to an uncertain global market environment," says Mike Game, Hudson's chief executive for Asia.
Hiring expectations picked up from a low 20 per cent in Q2 2009 and peaked at 62 per cent in Q1 this year. They eased to 61 per cent in Q2 and 56 per cent in Q3 before plunging to 42 per cent.
Except for manufacturing and industrial, the number of companies hiring in Q4 is likely to fall in all sectors, according to the Hudson report.

Admitting that the Pathum Thani flood situation was out of control, the Northern Rangsit Irrigation Office predicted yesterday that Bangkok would be inundated.
Office executive Chuchat Supawatthanangkul said the water flowing through Rapeepat Canal had destroyed several parts of the floodwall along Klong Luang district's Canals 1 to 5. Flowing at 70 cubic metres per second, this water would inundate Klong Luang and Thanyaburi districts, run through the Rangsit Prasertsak Canal and certainly flood Bangkok, he said.
Around noon yesterday, a 3metrelong section of floodwall along the Rangsit Canal at Chulalongkorn sluice gate near Rangsit market collapsed, but officials repaired it as residents were evacuated. As water levels rose, people guarded floodwalls while others strengthened them with sandbags.
At Pathum Thani correctional institution by Canal 5, 500 female inmates were evacuated, but 1,500 male prisoners remained because there was no place to hold them. They tried to pump out flood water seeping into the building, which is protected by a 3metrehigh floodwall.
Public Health Minister Witthaya Buranasiri said his ministry had dispatched officials by boat to help chronic patients, people with disabilities, pregnant women and ailing seniors trapped in flooded homes in Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani.
In Nonthaburi alone, there were 300 patients, but only 100 have been rescued so far. Hospitals have reserved beds to support another 200 chronically ill patients. Others from these groups should call 1669 around the clock for help.
Thammasat University Rangsit Campus executive Prinya Thaewanarumitkul, as director of the temporary shelter, said that even if flood waters there rose to 1.2 metres, brimming the sandbag barrier around the conference hall, the shelter would not be closed. The 1,800 evacuees on the ground floor would be moved to the gymnasium, which could support up to 5,000.
Floodhit Dream World Fun Park will be closed from today to October 31, while the Future Park Rangsit, Big C and HomePro malls in Thanyaburi district are closed indefinitely because of flooding of surrounding roads.
