Zulkarnean Zainal sounds very very familiar. Rafi Ali was good but never reach the greatness of Fandi. Rudy and Lee Man Hon, I remember.
D Devaraj and Selvaraj were pretty similar one-trick ponies. I cannot remember who is who.
I rem Craig Foster and Warren Spink, pretty useless but Aussie Internationals. Those days Singapore and Aussie football standard machiam-machiam, same Japan. They are out of sight now.
Sandro Radun was the clown keeper, right? They had some colourful characters coming from all over the world.
No need apply, just ask, they will give you.

zulkarnean plays left back or left mid... long hair.... last played for tampines...
D devaraj is well known for dribbling... but his career ending move was something like tat: he took the ball on the left wing (iirc) and wriggle past the defenders..... goes down to the goalline... perfect for hitting a cross for another teammate to convert... then somehow.. he stepped on the ball and fell... the ball roll over the line for a goal kick
hussien ahmad.. trademark is scissors kick goals... and simple tap in cannot...
Foster was good but surrounded by average players.. foster went to portsmouth after that.. i still remember i pick my Jersey number 19 during JC cos of foster.. pple expected him to be like abbas saad.. which he is not.. he is a typical holding midfielder...
warren ... i think came when he was declining.. no speed... no height... no advantage...

and change over, and also install a new fan for me. He also mentioned about your side, saying he did
your neighbor's place up, after he visited your place, kind of look see, look see, and they asked him what
he was doing, said he was ID, and ended up doing their place up. As far as I can say, he's got very good after
sales service. I call him he will turn up, plus the fact my shower panel, he had two plumbers over, take a look see and do a complete run over, cos low pressure, and they didn't change me a single cent.

ya he was the left wing during the late eighties.. can turn very fast
he will pretend to run back towards the left back as the left back passes the ball... he timed it very well so that the opponent defender closes it when the ball is abt to reach him... then he suddenly let the ball run down the line and do a 180 degree turn and off he goes...
somehow he only got this one trick and eveytime pple will fall for it...
good left foot... can cross but not fast enough in a straight race... sometimes get outpaced by opponent full back

But sad to hear Borhan passed away at a young age.Very physical defender. Those days at Kallang were the best. Walk from MRT across the bus interchange, to PA. Buy drinks and eat kari parp. Can even smoke inside the stadium. When the boys all came back, that was the best.
David Lee, Terry Pathmanathan, Jang Jung, Sasadimata Dasuki, Borhan Abu Samah, Malek Awab, Nazri Nasir, Fandi Ahmad, Sundramoothy, Alistair Edwards, Abbas Saad. Was this the first XI?

More bunnies abandoned as Rabbit Year nears end
By Lim Wee Leng | Posted: 02 January 2012 1734 hrs
SINGAPORE: The fad to own a rabbit for good luck appears to be dying, as the Year of the Rabbit comes to an end in about three weeks.
Animal shelters saw a 30 per cent increase in the number of abandoned rabbits in 2011 compared to the year before.
One shelter - the House Rabbits Society of Singapore - took in about 100 rabbits.
The number of people buying or adopting rabbits as pets surged in 2011, as the Chinese believe that these furry animals will bring them good luck and prosperity.
Pets are also dumped as quickly as they are bought, partly because of online shopping.
Online forums advertise pets for sale, promising minimal hassle. But once the novelty is gone, the pets end up on the streets or at the shelters.
