So far, the buying process was a breeze. Mostly due to the fact that the SE was professional and on-the-ball. Any queries are dilligently followed up and dealt with. Confirmation to delivery in 2 weeks plus. Car delivered with full explanation of the functions and quirks. SE was knowledgable about the car probably helped by the fact she drives on too.
What I like so far:
1. Lively engine + Gearbox.
2. Fill with clever gizmos and gimmicks only thing missing is electric chair
3. Nice Sat Nav system, easy to use and with a digital compass display on the console.
4. Columbus media system is easy to use and the sound is a hoot!
Some gripes so far:
1. Ride abit on the stiff side but that is expected given that I am changing over from a Crossroad.
2. Noise insulation not exactly stella with tyre noise intruding at expressway speed.
3. Speedo and Rev meter swopped places. Rev on left and Speedo on right. Takes some getting use to.
4. Engine sounds abit rough, like some agriculture machinery at start up
So these 2 days are just orientation. I have the whole week to put the car through it's paces.

I think for European models where they transfer the whole dash over without inverting. BMW don't have this problem iirc.

Are Singaporeans making a mountain out of a molehill?
A reader has written in to The Straits Times (ST) Forum pages questioning the fuss over Abercrombie & Fitch's giant advertisement.
Singapore's regulatory watchdog, the Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore (ASAS), had seen fit to classify the ad as indecent.
The short two-paragraph letter, published today, pointed instead to a poster promoting a local waxing and beauty firm.
Mr Anand A. Vathiyar asked of the regulatory body: "Would ASAS care to assess a truly obscene poster advertising a local firm specialising in beauty and waxing?
He said the "vulgar visual of the poster", commissioned by the company Strip: Ministry of Waxing, is plastered in malls, on lamp posts and as street buntings.
He added: "One cannot fail to see it at The Cathay building and on lamp posts around Great World City, to name two of the places."
In a separate ST report, the advertising watchdog defended its move in the face of online allegations of double standards.
The report mentioned that users on online forums have questioned why ASAS has not suspended lingerie ads with semi-nude models in public areas such as bus stops and shopfronts.
ASAS chairman Tan Sze Wee told the paper that the ad was big, placed in a prominent location and exposed too much of the body.
The Media Development Authority supported ASAS' decision, the report said. Its director of content and standards Amy Chua said the body has played a role in "promoting a high standard of ethics in advertising".
Mr Baey Yam Keng, MP for Tampines GRC, told the paper that he did not find the ad offensive.
The managing director of public relations firm Hill & Knowlton felt that the code of advertising practice drawn up by the ASAS could have been clearer.
No doubt, there is a grey area.
The deputy chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Information, Communication and the Arts said in the report: "If the issue is the size, location and amount of exposure of the ad, then what size is okay?
"How do they ascertain the amount of exposure?"

A former secondary school teacher has been charged with having sex with a 14-year-old student.
The man, now 41 years old, is a father of two children. As a teacher, the engineering graduate had received multiple "model teacher" awards in a school located in the north.
The man has left the school after the affair was exposed and cannot be named to protect the identity of the girl.
He had allegedly begun having sex with the girl from late 2007 when she was 14 years old. The alleged affair ended just one day before the girl turned 16.
Now 18 years old, the girl is studying in a junior college.
The two were allegedly having sex once a month, mostly in a room used for co-curricular activities (CCA).
The man often brought the girl to the empty CCA classroom for sex during flag raising ceremonies in the morning when all the students were at the assembly area. In June 2008, the man had also brought her to a room at Orchid Country Club to celebrate her birthday and for sex.
The couple also had sex six times at the Upper Seletar Reservoir Park carpark from January 2009.
Altogether, the two may have had sex 19 times in a period of about one and half years.
It has not been revealed how the affair was exposed.

A Singaporean man went missing in Greece on Tuesday evening, missing a medical conference that he was invited to attend.
Mr Kouk Leong Jin, a 28-year-old medical student from Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, had flown to Athens on Sunday evening. He made a call at about 10.40pm (Athens time) to a classmate, Mr Leong Jin He, on Tuesday evening, Sep 27, but the latter missed the call as he was already sleeping. They were both scheduled to attend the conference together.
Chinese local evening dailies reported that his wife of two weeks, Madam Seow Shu Ping, a 28-year-old teacher, and Mr Kouk's parents are preparing to fly to Athens this evening to look for him.
A Facebook page has also been created, with details of his time in Athens up until the time he was last heard from being chronicled, in an apparent effort to find people who may know of his whereabouts.
Madam Seow told Chinese daily reporters that she last heard from her husband on Monday, the day that he arrived in Athens. He sent her an SMS to tell her that he had arrived safely, followed by an email later in the evening. In the email, he told her that he was going to visit some smaller islands the next day. He had gone exploring some hills earlier and was full of praise for Greece's ancient architecture.
Madam Seow noted that her husband's behaviour had seemed normal, even promising to keep in contact with her, but she has not heard from him since then.
She said: "The conference was to have lasted from Wednesday to Friday, but since he went missing on Tuesday, I contacted some of his classmates, only to find out that he did not attend the conference at all."
Mr Leong told Shin Min that Mr Kouk did not respond to his SMS on the first day of the conference. When he tried to call Mr Kouk at 10pm later that night, he found out that the line was not connected.
A check with the hotel where Mr Kouk was staying showed that he last accessed his hotel room on Tuesday evening. A check with his telecoms provider showed he had surfed the Internet using his phone at a little past 10pm (Athens time) on the same day.
Duke-NUS told the Chinese evening dailies that a representative from the school will be sent to Athens to render assistance, while the family of the missing man has also reportedly contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the local embassy in Athens for help. Local police there have been alerted, while a notice was also posted on a Greek 'missing persons' website.

Madam Seow told Shin Min Daily News that she would not come back until she found her husband.
She and Mr Kouk's parents are reportedly flying to Athens this evening to look for him.
She told Shin Min: " If I cannot find him I'm not coming back."
After learning that Mr Kuok last went missing on Tuesday, she also found out that he has not checked out of his hotel room to date, nor was he on the return flight that was booked for him back to Singapore.
She said: "I can feel that he's just waiting for me to rescue him!"
The hotel staff reported that his room has remained untouched on Saturday evening, with his belongings in place.
Mr Kouk is about 1.7m tall, wears spectacles, and was last seen waering a light blue collared shirt. He was carrying a black bag, and wearing a pair of black shoes.

The businessman had approached Lin three times for girls, the latest time only a few months back.
According to Lin, the man is married but childless and wants children to hand down his business to. The couple decided to have a Vietnamese girl bear illegitimate children for them.
Through the agency, the couple went through two Vietnamese girls, both of whom packed up and returned to Vietnam after merely two weeks.
Lin found out that the girls had left because the couple had tried to have 'threesomes' with them.
Some time ago, Lin introduced another 25-year-old Vietnamese girl to the couple, but she also gave up and left after three months.
Lin made further queries to find out why the girls were leaving.
The businessman's 50-year-old wife was said to be a control freak and had insisted on watching when the man had sex with the Vietnamese girl.
The man's wife also controlled when the man is allowed to have sex with the Vietnamese girl and does not allow the girl to be alone with the man. She also confiscated the girl's passport and does not allow her to make phone calls.
Lin said, "Although the girl liked that the businessman was very kind to her, she could not bear with the way she was controlled."
Besides this case, Lin cites several other odd cases he had encountered in his decade of experience supplying Vietnamese brides.
He recalls one man whose condition for a bride was that she must give him US$30,000 to start his own business. Another man refused to consummate his marriage with his bride for fear of her getting pregnant. Yet another man complained to Lin that his bride had performed poorly in bed.

Tiger Airways has warned that it is expecting to record a sizeable loss for the three months ending Sept 30.
This is mainly because of the suspension of its Australian services by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (Casa) of Australia in the first six weeks of the quarter, which led to under-utilisation of its fleet.
As such, the airline is expecting to 'record a markedly larger net loss for the current fiscal quarter...than the net loss of $20.6 million recorded', in the previous quarter.
Tiger's Australian flights were grounded on July 1 by the CASA over safety concerns. The expected loss will be in sharp contrast to the $14.1 million profit recorded during the same quarter last year.

Denmark levies world's first fat tax

COPENHAGEN - Denmark Saturday became the first country in the world to impose a fat tax after a week in which consumers hoarded butter, pizza, meat and milk to avoid the immediate effects.
"We have had to stock up with tonnes of butter and margarine in order to be able to supply outlets," Soeren Joergensen of Arla Distribution told AFP.
The new tax, designed by Denmark's outgoing government as a health issue to limit the population's intake of fatty foods, will add 16 kroner (S$3.77) per kilo (2.2 pounds) of saturated fats in a product.
This means an increase in the price of a pack of 250 grammes of butter, for example, by 2.20 kroner to more than 18 kroner.
"It has been a chaotic week with a lot of empty shelves. People have been filling their freezers," Christian Jensen of an independent local Copenhagen supermarket told AFP.
"But actually I don't think the tax will make that much difference. If people want to buy a cake, they will buy it. But right now they're saving money," he added.
The new tax will be levied on all products including saturated fats - from butter and milk to pizzas, oils, meats and pre-cooked foods - in a costing system that Denmark's Confederation of Industries (DI) says is a bureaucratic nightmare for producers and outlets.
"The way that this has been put together is an administrative nightmare, and I doubt whether it will give better health. It's more just a tax," DI foodstuffs spokeswoman Gitte Hestehave told AFP, adding that the costs of levying the tax would be passed on to consumers.
Hestehave said that setting prices on domestically produced or imported goods was complicated, as it required declarations from producers both as to how much saturated fat was in the product itself, and used in its preparation. Computer systems all had to be adjusted, adding many man-hours to administrative tasks for producers and sellers.
"Products that include other products that include saturated fats also have to have new prices worked out. Imported goods require a declaration from the producers abroad on exactly how much saturated fat has been used in production," Hestehave said.
"As far as we have been able to determine, Denmark is the first country in the world to introduce a fat tax" but we know that other countries are following us closely and have their own plans, she said.
The new Danish tax, however, may not last long.
EU legal expert Jeppe Rosenmejer of the Danish Federation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises says the European Union is currently studying the tax as there may be a competition issue.
While producers in Denmark have to pay the tax at source, for imported goods it is calculated by the distributor.
"This can mean that imported goods will be cheaper than domestically produced items," Rosenmejer told the national Jyllands-Posten daily.
A Danish producer will have to pay the tax on all of the saturated fat used, including for example what a product is fried in, he said. An importer may only be paying according to what is actually in the finished product.
"Hopefully the tax will be short-lived," Rosenmejer said.
The right-wing government that decided on the tax was superceded by a centre-left administration in elections last month.
