Police have raided more vice dens in Geylang and Joo Chiat.
Forty women and five men from three nightspots were arrested in the raid last night, which ended only at 5am this morning.
The women arrested were between the ages of 18 to 36, and are believed to be karaoke hostesses or hookers. According to sources, they were arrested as they did not have working permits.
The women were skimpily clad, most of them were in mini shorts and mini skirts, as well as sleeveless or even transparent tops.
During the raid, many people crowded around to ogle at the women, with some even peeking into police vans to catch a glimpse of them.
Most of the women hung their heads as they were arrested, but some looked nonchalant and even struck poses for the camera.

A woman seemed to have unwittingly exposed an illicit affair after reporting a theft from her car.
The woman (age 30) had driven her husband's car to Upper Seletar Reservoir in the middle of the night for a stroll with another man at the quiet reservoir area.
At about 3am that morning, the two returned to the car to find its front window smashed and the car's valuables stolen. The furious woman immediately called the police.
During investigations, she told the police that the car, a BMW, belongs to her husband who is currently overseas. She also said that she was at the reservoir that night with another man.
The woman lost more than $6,000 worth of items in her car, including 2 iPads, an iPhone, an LV handbag, a Prada wallet and a Coach purse.
The police advise that the public should not leave valuables in their cars to tempt potential criminals.

This is in line with the forecast by the National Environment Agency that Singaporeans can expect hazy skies for the next two weeks.
Residents in areas like Chinatown and Marina Bay reported hazy skies and a smell of smoke in the air today.
A netizen, "Ming", lives in the central area and found his usual view of the business district obscured today due to the haze.
He submitted photos to the Stomp website and said, "Usually I have a clear view of Marina Bay Sands and the downtown financial centre from my apartment in Tanjong Rhu."
"Today, I can barely make out the buildings. From the looks of it, the PSI may be in the unhealthy range."
Light afternoon showers over parts of the island may have helped to clear the air today as the PSI now stands in the moderate range of 55.

today quite PMS and moody.....last sat my mum was told by her doc to go operation to remove some growth in her neck...
was told it is not a minor surgery..she will have to stay in hospital for 3 days n another 10days at home..
apparently the growth grew by a 1cm since june....
i quite worried coz there will bound to have risk....so last nite cant sleep...but in front my my mum..i act quite confident of the doc
