Yes, G-Market and Amazon usually have a good deal. However, I duno how to claim their warranty.
I have bought a 16Gb SDCard about 1.5 years before. After 2 month of usage..spolit..Duno where to get it replace.
Maybe they now provide warranty oversea?

If u bought from gmarket, u can always look for the seller for replacement within warranty period =)
  • 27 June 2012 - 04:39 PM
    AlanZ

what makes u think it cost far lesser? actually i can tell u the cost price difference is only $40. Warranty depreciated they still let us change to Dr380 at around $40 difference, i think they are pretty fair. If everyone ask to downgrade to DR380 & refund, i think the manufacturer will have a big headache.
    its DR380 not DR350.
Those getting from other source or local also keep swapping n changing, end of 1 year warranty also will give up.
Anyway those who RMA have swapped to DR380, really no point to keep sending back & make replacement until they found a permanent solution for DR400.

Sorry bro, how much is DR380?
N how much is the ITB100?

R they easy to use? Cause I read all the % for event allocation etc till I blur. I have been looking around n like the blackvue if not for the overheating issues. Does DR380 overheat?
Can the battery pack for ITB100 be hidden cause it looks ugly..

    Apologies for my many questions.

haha bro , in my opinion i think you are very lucky . For electronics industry we always talk about defective rate . That's the reason why you can see most electronic products have established service centres across the country . So luck is one thing , but company quality control is another thing, you definitely will be better off if you buy from established brands. In such a globalized world that we live in nowadays , consumers are opened to everywhere in the world to purchase your product from. Price vs service vs convinence , so its really up to the consumer wether he/she prefers a localized warranty and after sales service . Just my 2 cents worth haha biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I have pretty much nail down my selection of Itronics ITB 100-HD. Just that i have some question here and there which I think i will pop in here to ask before I buy it.

    1. A mounting question, must the Itronics ITB 100-HD be installed on the ceiling board near the rear view mirror, or is it possible to mount it on the dash board? will the recorded video be upside down if we record from dash board?
Cause I notice its insulation tape and I am just worried that over time, it may fall off the ceiling board and I wonder if it will stick to the ceiling board material of my vehicle.

    2. I do not want to run the camera overnight cause I don't really wish to take up car battery life. I also read we can switch off parking mode, is that true?

    3. If above point 2 is true and parking mode can be switch off, it would mean I can still leave the plug in the ciggy slot without unplugging it and it won't eat into the battery right?

My car ciggy slot now has a splitter which looks like the one below, i notice it states 3 normal slot and one ciggy slot. Is it okay for me to plug the ITB 100 into the ciggy slot on this splitter?

    Hi all,
In future kindly direct queries about our related products to our sponsor thread in http://www.mycarforu...o...666954&hl=*

    Hi bro,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
    Replies as follows:

No worries as they provide 3M tape specially for solar flim, so firstly it will not damage your flim, nor will it drop off like suction cup.

    2. I do not want to run the camera overnight cause I don't really wish to take up car battery life. I also read we can switch off parking mode, is that true?
Yes, you can just tap to the car ignition to power it up when engine is on & shut down while engine off.

    3. If above point 2 is true and parking mode can be switch off, it would mean I can still leave the plug in the ciggy slot without unplugging it and it won't eat into the battery right?
It wont as yr cigar point will not provide power once engine is off, alternatively we will tap to the car ignition as mentioned above.

My car ciggy slot now has a splitter which looks like the one below, i notice it states 3 normal slot and one ciggy slot. Is it okay for me to plug the ITB 100 into the ciggy slot on this splitter?
    Its no issue.

    Cheers!

That's why I go online buy cheap, who cares, spoil, throw and get a new one, can last one year
kow poon better then ship back to Korea, go pick it up, install, use not too long again same issue if not
    something new comes up.

eg. 6 times exchange within a 12 month period, $60, petrol and time added = ?

thats what i have been telling people here. But cheaper online. no warranty also never mind. spoil just throw or rip open and test test. my ITB-100HD costs about SGD$240 with 8GB SD from Gmarket Korea. I use it for only during driving so no need power magic unit.

buy the ITB la. cheap enough. i bought the DR350 and ITB-70 at around the same price about 1-2year back. both still works well and now transferred to as rear cameras.

Well, buyers have a choice to choose who they want to buy from, it's their money,
personally, I find the convenience, inconvenience, savings wise, plus warranty out-weights
buying direct online. Thus my purchases as of now will be direct online, no need for all the hassle
of driving here and there to pick up and warranty and all that.

Huge saving of time and money for me.

Agreed fully bro. The price difference is simply too huge. Furthermore, some online sellers do provide manufacturer's warranty also provided you ship back to them at your own cost (which is what some local dealers here charging for the shipping cost also). One so-called blacklisted website pointed out by ZMC do provide manufacturer's warranty for some of the products they are selling, e.g.:

Yes, I saw that as well. t's unlike paying $300+ for the cam alone, when you can get it for so much lesser, skip the warranty
or even with is like a added few more bucks. It's an informed choice. If last time $100-200 was a lot of money,
now, $100-200 you can't really get decent, decent, so what's it a small price to pay for peace of mind, use for 12 months,
change out to something better vs with warranty etc.. which you can use for the purchase of 2 of the same cam.

I'd say, it's an informed choice one has to make.

Road vibs stronger then usual, suction won't hold that long,

    Ok, simple starter tips.

    1) check plane CG.
    2) check control surface correspond to ur transmitter control.
    3) check wind direction.
    4) check no ppl in front when u launch.
    5) ensure u have clear landing path.

After all that, just throttle up and throw in same as wind direction. And enjoy the flight.

ShoChong, how much do I have to pay to do the exchange for the 380?
Also any issues with the 380 apart from it being 720p?
Can it use the same power plug as BV400?

I'm considering RMA the BV400 and use till it pops.

    No payment needed.
I have decided to waive the shipping fee for those who submit before 30/6.
380 is just released yesterday, they claimed there is no overheating issue due to the lowered specs & no GPS, but i cant guarantee 100% as its is still a new product.

    Hi all,
In future kindly direct queries about our related products to our sponsor thread in http://www.mycarforu...o...666954&hl=*

    Hi bro,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
    Replies as follows:

    Cheers!

Thanks for the quick response. Have pm-ed you my remaining queries.

So i think its really heng sway one, but my opinion its not stable yet..
I heard that the manufacturer side came out with the DR380 to overcome the heat issue of DR400, so imagine if they screw it up again, it will be a byebye for them.. so i think that they would have done a stricter test before releasing the dr380. Just my 2 cents worth.

There seems not to be any solution to their issues.
The camera really works like a charm, it's so damn clear,
even at night, and somewhat hassle free, the heat is fine
as well, the lens screw up is the nail in the coffin. Unless using it for
    pure driving and no surveillance.
